The links to most of the pictures obviously don't work on the free side, as it would be silly to give you links to a bunch of pictures, many of which we won't show you out here where anyone, regardless of age, could be wandering around unsupervised.
We're assuming you know what pictures, photo galleries and video clips looks like on the web. If you don't, you're probably not going to have much fun here — well, unless you really like to read a lot. Also, many of our posts comprise a number of pages because of their length. (If we provide easy "breaks" in a story, it's easier to remember where you were if you don't have time to get all the way through an entry in one sitting.) For the purposes of these "Samples" we've done a minor bit of reorganization for ease of display while you're just browsing. Honestly, we've been running this custom blog since before the word "blog" even existed.
Also, we should warn you: We do have an odd way about us. ENJOY!
Sample 12/16/08 - Michael Ninn on Set
Same Singer, Different Tune
I have been on a lot of sets with Michael Ninn. Over the last 15 years, I have not been on every Ninn set, but since the earliest days at that upstart VCA, I have been on the vast majority of them. If you need to put a number on it, call it "well over 100, probably closer to 150, Michael Ninn sets," and that will do for now.
Predictably, over the years I have been fortunate to witness some very grand Michael Ninn sets. I have seen him shoot with world-famous rock stars and legendary porn stars. (I have also seen Michael be instrumental in building a few of those legends, truth be told.) I watched him drop a baby grand piano into the middle of twenty square miles of California desert, and I have seen him set up in shots so tight that just placing the cameras became a substantial physical challenge. We've shot in miserable heat, howling winds, horizontal rains, and cold so severe that all of us not on camera could only thank the Fates that we never decided to try and be porn stars (all the while looking for more layers of clothing to wear and wondering why we don't own mittens anymore).
On the set of Nymphetamine I got to see something different from Michael — yet again.
Sample 07/09/08 - Erotica LA & Stephanie Swift
[You've probably learned to worry a bit when we start a post with "editorial blue" — right? Still, we did think it best this way, as the following convention report seems odd, even for D.Minion. At least this time she did not inadvertently change the mpeg settings on her camera, so they're not itty-bitty, but that doesn't change their … um … uniqueness it seems. Rather than pump too many more words into this, maybe we should just show you "Angels Wiggle" and you'll be up to speed here real speedy quicko. Erotica Los Angeles, 2008
The past few months have been studies in chaos for me. Nothing linear. Nothing routine. So instead of my usual, “First we did this and then we did that,” story about Erotica LA, I will present it in a vaguely chaotic, non-linear form. As Friedrich Nietzsche said, “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger.” [Please understand that D.Minion exists as one of the most linear (read: binary) humans on the planet; she really doesn't see the world the way other people do. When we informed her some years ago that as an adult she could have cold pizza for breakfast if she wanted to, she reacted as though we had given her the gift of fire. Also, despite our best efforts, she remains fully convinced that if a woman is "nice" then she is "pretty" — oddly enough completely regardless of said woman's physical appearance. As for Nietzsche, well, DM is fairly certain that eating chocolate on strawberries will kill you. So there's your bit of "salt" for this entry (which DM maintains you never, ever put on fruits, by the way).]
STEPHANIE SWIFT
Silly me. When I saw Stephanie Swift this year in Vegas at AEE I got hugs, kisses, photos, and autographs, but no contact information. Dang.
Lucky wanted me to make it right at ELA. Oh, and he wanted an audio interview, too. The contact info was easy. The audio interview was difficult. Music blaring, people talking, and the echo of the convention center hall made interviewing Stephanie almost impossible. And dragging her away to a quieter place was out of the question. Stephanie was working! And even a five-minute interview would take at least 15 minutes if you count travel time. So Stephanie and I huddled up at the Sweetheart Video Booth, and she happily and loudly answered my questions into my mini recorder. It sounds better than I could have hoped, and our audio guru will make it sound even sweeter! [Right. This will happen just as soon as we let him know he should be doing it. Oops. … On the upside, we'll include a fascinating inside story about Stephanie and risqué somewhere on the bottom of one of these pages. We'd have just put a footnote here, but then Steph might read this and realize that she'd become a footnote entry, and since she's back working again, she might not like that. Just so you know, it never pays to irritate women that look good naked. … Just so you know.]

PART ONE
When I first began writing for Adult Diary, one of my jobs was to accompany Lucky’s girls to their movie sets. I’d take photos of (pretty much) only the girl I came with, and because I was so shy, sometimes I’d hardly even talk with anyone else. [Of course now DM is a lot better – and more comfortable. Now she talks to the person responsible for the food on set too.]
When I began writing for Michael Ninn’s site, it was a whole different ballgame. Often on set I wouldn’t know any of the actors. I had to learn to introduce myself, ask questions, and take photos of everything and everyone. [Not that this particular picture has anything specifically to do with Ninn sets, as it actually applies more generally to shoots in general now that almost everyone books off of the Internet.]
Since we moved to the Central Coast a couple of years ago, I haven’t had a chance to go to any sets with Kristal, but when she told me she was going to be in a movie that Dee was directing, I knew I had to go! (Besides, I hadn’t seen Kristal naked for months and was getting the DT’s!) [That happens. It's sad.]

You know how polite people learn at an early age not to say, "I told you so?" OK. That's a beginning ... Now take a quick look at these random pictures:
So how about we tell you a story? Back in the Dark Ages (say, six-eight months ago in Porn Time) we were the folks responsible for maintaining the various web presences for Michael Ninn. Y'all probably remember that if you've been here that long, or have looked back in the archives. Well, it would take too long to go back over how we became close friends with Mr. Ninn, but you can find the stories if you look around, or maybe we'll do a "synopsis" version some time. For now, just recall that Michael has been friendly with Risqué for nearly two decades – primarily because of the women we represent. That may sound callous, but business can be that way sometimes. No sense fretting about it.
