For People that Like Numbers

If you've read all the way through the New Stuff indices and you still don't know what we're about, well, we're not sure what else we can say. Of course simply not knowing what to say almost never keeps us from saying anything, so we'll elaborate. Consequently we thought we'd talk some numbers here. We like numbers. And we like math. These two facts rest far from the most unusual facts about us, however.

As of this writing in late 2008, we have posted just a tad under 15,000 PAGES on risque.com and the associated web sites of the stars. We were curious, so we looked up a little "perspective" to add here: According to Amazon, the Encyclopedia Britannica contains about 32,000 pages. Gee. We have half an alphabet to go. Excellent. Of course we have around 2,000 video clips and over 175,000 images, and we're sure the mere encyclopedia set can't match that. So we win, right?

Upon reviewing our initial draft of this new tour, though, the internal editors here did complain that while we do a fine job of talking about all the fun we have here, we really don't talk about the WOMEN very much. Oops. So we made a different type of collage to remind folks that we do in fact have a primary focus — and we enjoy it a whole lot too.

For People that Like Sincerity

Humility dictates we should say that creating the above picture group really didn't take much effort. You can find each of these photographs in the various New Stuff entries you can see here in the tour. We didn't scour the site looking for the absolute "best of the best" in a typical marketing ploy. We more or less picked randomly, just being sure we had the right number of horizontal and vertical varieties. If you look around you'll be able to discover every one of them and see the various entries they apply to. There may be more intellectually fulfilling quests you could think of, but you have the option, and options are always good.

Make no mistake about this, the commune of various women represented by a risqué business online are definitely ADULT SITES and you need to be of legal age to obtain a membership. If you check out the Samples pages, you can see that we take our obligation to the public nature of the web very seriously. We'd love to have you join and be able to enjoy all the various avenues we explore, but we can't control who may wander past the area outside the firewall, so we will continue to be very careful in our approach. It helps us sleep at night, quite honestly.

For People that Like Security

That said, we'll take a quick moment on this particular topic.

Everyone worries about security on the web. Oddly, everyone should worry about security on the web. ("Everyone" doesn't often get things right it seems.) That said, we're going to try to ease some potential fears here. At least we're acknowledging the historic potential for abuse in our web genre.

First of all, and from a purely practical perspective, we use only top-notch processors that utilize a continually updated security system for all of your credit card information. None of our employees can even see your information, let alone do anything with it. We have our own merchant accounts, so we never risk information passing between companies, and we never, ever, EVER do anything at all with the email addresses that we require for your memberships. We don't loan them. We don't sell them. We don't even use them ourselves. If you write in specifically we're always happy to answer questions, but no one will ever contact you simply because you joined the site.

As you can also tell from our tour, we never worry about the fine lines of what may be "legal" because we don't care what we can "get away with" because other adult web sites do it one way or another. We have a very conservative in-house way of dealing with the issue here. We employ the "Mother of a Ten-Year-Old" standard. Quite simply, if we have reservations about whether or not to display a certain image out on the free side, we bring in one of the mothers that work here and say, "Would it be OK for your daughter (or son) to see this image, even if it's really small?"

We definitely don't go in for the selectively blurred or fancifully starred effects that obscure only the technically adult "parts" of the models with the come-hither looks that almost all adult sites use. First of all, as you've learned, we make no attempt to compete with the vast anonymous barrage of XXX Material that they offer, and we're honest enough to admit that a "come-hither" description of their marketing puts a rather fine gloss on a basically crude sales pitch. Hey, we try to be nice too.

Based on the vast number of people in XXX we've run across over the years, we've come to the conclusion that we pretty much defy description. Now some of those people have a rather more colorful and substantially less complimentary way of expressing this opinion, but that pretty much sums it up (for better, not worse).

This shot of Anais (shooting for us, confusingly enough) came about on a Michael Ninn set — before Anais was officially "Anais" to be 100% accurate. She'd already come to us for representation, and we pretty much figured that Mr. Ninn had the inside track on putting her under contract, but we hadn't received the final offers from a couple of the other interested companies. As a technical matter, therefore, we took time out to visit a Ninn Worx shoot, just so Anais could see how things operated with this director, this crew, and what not.

Now one of the most fun parts of any movie business job has to be the dramatic locations you get to visit. Also, if you're an enterprising sort, and you happen to have a collection of dedicated talent accompanying you on these shoots, and if you've always been more than a little progressive in your approach to things, well, you can end up with a great medley of fun stories to tell — with pictures to prove it. And ain't THAT just dandy?

We will reiterate here that if you're primarily looking for a random, basically anonymous, outpouring of XXX material to whet whatever appetites currently hold your interest, there are almost certainly a lot better sites out there to satisfy you. If, however, you occasionally have an attention span in excess of three minutes (and you're not philosophically opposed to the dependent clause, obviously), then you might enjoy it here. People do. They tell us.

This page seems a little odd perhaps. If you look at the quick list below, maybe that will help us explain. You see, because of the extraordinary nature of the people with whom we associate, quite often some very talented people will wander by and offer to put some of their skills to our particular uses. We're not sure who invented the summer intern concept, but we definitely owe that person a beer. Consequently, although WHAT we talk about in the members' area has a certain degree of rudimentary consistency, the HOW we talk about it can vary widely. We don't mind this really, as sex business embraces nothing if not diversity.

Although you may not spend much of your time reading our unmistakably keen insights, we need to confess that on the rare occasion our particular humorous look at life comes into play in the photographs and video clips as well. We want you to know that you can simply skip those too if you want. Or feel free to groan aloud. That's what happens in the office. Just remember we did mention at the beginning of this section that this page may seem a little odd — although admittedly the "perhaps" probably rated as an unnecessary addition. On the upside, if you join us in the members' area, you'll get used to that in no time.

And depending upon where you heard about a risqué business and risque.com in the first place, you may have heard rumor that we shamelessly deploy multiple variations of the flying Elvis on occasion. Well, we want to state for the record (and incontrovertibly, even) that … sometimes rumors turn out to be true. This can be annoying.

Well, you're still reading and that's always good. If you haven't noticed yet, we tend to have a lot of words in our venture. As we've mentioned, and we continually remind our friends in the industry when they wonder about our unusual approach, "There are a whole lot of typical adult sites on the web, but there's a whole lot more to life than porno." … Yeah, we're really radical.

Just to show that we don't play favorites in our unabashed lack of chagrin in our enjoyment of life, we wanted to give one quick example of some of the fine video work we've shared over the years. Now this was recorded a very long time ago, so the technical quality in no way compares to our current offerings. Also the video we use now does have a vast slant toward being definitely outside of our Mother of a Ten-Year-Old standard, so we couldn't show much of it out here anyway. We'll tell you that D.Minion took this little clip at one of the Members' Parties we've thrown. You can see Dee's hand working to operate the fine device that became our official mascot, and we actually received it as a gift from Maverick, then a UK member that attended and now works with us.

Truth is A LOT stranger than fiction. We enjoy that.

In closing this section, we'll pay tribute to "Mr. E. Member" who happened to be one of the first folks to ever figure out that we're pretty much regular folks with atypical jobs around here. We're always happy to include people (or art, or editorials, or whatever) that people want to send along. They don't have to be particularly fancy, or even practical, as you can see from the fine piece of graphic art below. Let's face it, with our approach to the web (and life in general), we can hardly afford to be very judgmental.
