4/28/08	When the folks at the office learned that the Denver Broncos drafted guys with the names Eddie Royal, Carlton Powell, and Spencer Larson some people around here said it sounded like we’d have to start serving high tea at half time or something. … As it turns out, some people aren’t nearly as funny as they think they are. … On the other hand delving into a review of D.Minion spending time with Sean Michaels and his prodigious – um – persona on a porn set will probably be just as funny as you’d think it would be. 4/27/08	Well, we’re back from an odd combination of conventions down in L.A. again. This time the folks at “Fangoria” and the other folks at “Adult-Con” were kind enough to schedule their events at the same time, albeit at opposite ends of the Convention Center. Oddly the women at the horror gathering seemed to dress rather like the women at the porn convention, although they did seem to wear a lot more black and have a lot more holes poked in their faces – presumably for decorative purposes. We’re not sure we really understand that particular aspect of the sub-culture, but we do have D.Minion working diligently on explaining it all to us. We should mention that we’re not making any promises that this will in fact help, though. Until then (and as we’re working to wade through the “queue” here), we managed to uncover Mav’s still shoot that he somehow forgot to include with the “Cam Show” video entry, so maybe that will help. OK, so technically Maverick didn’t literally use this title, but he’s just starting to seek out his investigative journalist muse, so we’re cutting him a little slack. And if his “investigation” actually reflects much more of a “personal reflection” point of view than meetings with any sort of Deep Throat character, and his role as a “journalist” really comes down to simply writing those thoughts down, well what’s the harm in the Grand Perspective? Besides, if you think about it, you’ll see that Alicia certainly reflects one sort of deep throat character. There’s that. Also, we get to admire a refreshingly different kind of porn star, and we get to learn about European geography – maybe. Things could be worse. … Life is short. Why stress over details? 4/12/18	We interrupt our regularly scheduled chaos to bring you a bit of insight on current events in adult. Now we don’t do this very often, as there are scads of web sites out there that stake “news” as their particular niche on the web, but sometimes a situation will just throw one low and outside, and you just have to swing for the fence. (Don’t you just love a good baseball metaphor?) We could tell you the topic for today, in fact that would be a completely logical thing to do right now, but honestly we can only take so much “convention” in one sitting. We can at least tell you that we’re using the unusually beautiful “Tall Goddess” and the captivating Renee Perez to illustrate some of our finer points – all the while showing off some of theirs. 12/31/05	We couldn’t think of a better way to end the year than with the spectacular Dee, in this, a look back at some of her early efforts on behalf of KSEX radio, technically January 2004 and July 2004. 12/2/05	One of the niftiest things about being associated with a cutting-edge technology company like Ninn Worx happens to be that you get a lot of cool toys well before they’re actually available to the general public. Sometimes, however, you plug these new toys into your computer and it kind of makes like Bill the Cat – responding essentially, “ACK!” And it’s not like these come with instruction books, or even help files or anything. In very sad situations, you get the evil “Windows has a problem, please contact your Network Administrator” sort of message, which ranks among the most ominous of signs. (In common parlance, consider this FUBAR in essence.) Now if you happen also to BE the network administrator, you find yourself looking quickly for a paddle to get you down this suddenly smelly creek. Well, such was the bulk of last week, so we haven’t finished the wonderful and far from odiferous account that D.Minion penned while on the set of In the Garden of Shadows. You can’t finish the story yet, but you can get through Day One, and sometimes that’s plenty with D.Minion, if we can be honest. So have some fun, and we’ll get back to you on this. 1/31/05	We don’t know quite how to describe Mav’s MEGA Report on Internext, the AEE, and the AVN Awards show except to say it’s BIG. It’s really, really BIG. There are well over 300 pictures and 7,000 words. Heck, we had to build the mother of all index pages, just to try to help people figure out where they are in the story when they come back to it. Let’s put it this way, from within the story and picture pages there are FORTY THREE individual links back to the index page. You’re going to need a lot of beer for this one, folks. 1/15/05	Not taking anything away anything from Mav’s recent contribution, we felt it time to present a set of Dee in a more “professional” setting. Dee’s a particularly apropos subject today for many reasons, not the least of which is that she’s just so darned pretty that it’s just hard not to talk about her. There are actually 100 photos today, AND an underwater view of Dee that … well … you really have to see it …. By the way, as far as we can tell, none of this has anything at all to do with “Wells Fargo Wagons,” or “Trouble,” or even “Lida Rose” … although I always liked “Lida Rose” … Good day, our someones; isn’t this almost like being in love? 1/13/05	“Seventy-Six trombones led the big parade,” as I understand it. So that means that today’s post is better than a big parade, as it has 77 more pictures of the 2004 KSEX Awards show, this time taken by Foreign Correspondent Maverick. Now we need to explain three things. 1. We’re making no attempt to draw any correlation between trombones and photographs of partying porn stars, rather leaving to future generations of literary students an attempt to try to decipher what deep and tortured reasonings led us to this strange juxtaposition. 2. A simple fact of corporate America rejoices in giving someone a grand-sounding title like “Foreign Correspondent” rather than actual money, and 3. No. We do not think it at all strange that a straight man might know a few show tunes. I can also cook, but I can’t sew … so there. Ready to move on now? 1/8/05	If you’re reading this, well then Praise the Digital Dieties. That means you’re looking at the new server like you’re supposed to be. By the way, really, really smart people wouldn’t have chosen the end of the year … over the holidays … right before the largest annual industry convention in Las Vegas … at the same time as moving a home and office … as the perfect time to change hosting and billing companies for the two biggest sites we operate. Nope. That’s certainly not what a really, really smart person would have done. That’s just what we did. On the upside we still have many good contacts with some exceptionally beautiful women, like … let’s see … this is Kristal Summers, Becca, Dee, Inari Vachs, Cheyenne Silver, Juli Ashton, and Wendy Divine. It might be easier to just look inside the members’ area, rather than just believe us. The pictures get bigger in there. Actually a lot of things get bigger around these women. Go figure.
