3/24/24	“Hello Lightness, my old friend.” … And now you see why the Sound of Lightness remains substantially more upbeat and happy when compared to the Sound of Silence. Given that we call our version the Sounds of Syren, though we figure we won’t get sued. The 247 Team lined up a triple feature for today, though, each featuring Syren Sexton, so you can understand our excitement. We start (or finish) with Do Me POV, and because that seems like an interesting way to finish a photo shoot, we have both versions of Syren in BTS, part one and part two — just so you can get to know her a bit more. 3/22/24	Siblings can be both the joy and the bane of existence in life — occasionally at the same time. When you happen to be a Tycoon, or so we hear, all the same problems just get magnified. Life travails aside, more money also tends to equal more women, which brings up another whole area of social philosophy that we’ll avoid for now as well. We do know that bringing in Joey Valentine to help you forget your troubles will almost certainly work, regardless of the number at the bottom of your personal balance sheet. We also now know that if you do not handle your paperwork with honesty and integrity, New York may come in and take your stuff. 3/21/24	What better way to celebrate the first full day of Spring than with the announcement that as of today, all of Cytherea’s exclusive videos have been restored on her site (Well, the Cythereas.com one, we mean, as she has had several over the years.) … OK. 3/18/24	Someone famous posed the question, “What’s in a name?” … Or at least somehow that question became famous, maybe because everybody dies, and folks do seem to enjoy a tragedy — at least those that happen to other people. … We could pontificate on love more deeply now, of course, but one really should try to limit ambition on a Sunday afternoon. That has become the rule, right, at least until the NFL starts up again? Right now we should all be fascinated by the plethora of internet pundits with all their expert opinions on exactly how the draft will unfold over a month from now. Or one could simply ignore all that and consider typographical choices hidden within the conclusion of New Girls on the Block with us today. 3/16/24	Anyone that remembers English class in school could tell that a homonym is not in fact an elderly gay person. That person could also likely tell you the difference between denotation and connotation as regards a single word. Then again, the people that do remember these — we’ll call them not always valuable — bits of knowledge probably do not command large audiences on a regular basis either. Basically, most people will read the adjective “Deviant” before the word “Massage” and be quite happy to consider the intended consequences here without even bothering to consider the niceties of the English language. We feel sad for those people, of course, and we hope they get ice cream soon. That should be available to people regardless of their vocabulary. 3/15/24	If you do not happen to be talking about the weather, we tend to associate good things with the word hail. (Even with the weather hail can be awe-inspiring and even fun to watch, although it does help if you’ve always wanted to give that golf ball look to your personal automobile.) Consequently, when we Hail Sasha Heart, you probably feel like you get a good idea of what will be in store for today. To that we can only advise, “Oh, Hail No!” … This inflection obviously gives an entirely new perspective to the word hail. We do that, as long-time members can attest. 3/9/24	Have you ever seen one of those home remodeling shows? Even if you do not spend much time on HGTV, or DIY, or any of those other kinds of similar networks, you probably know what we mean. You spend an hour (minus commercials, so like 15 minutes) watching a bunch of unnaturally happy pretty people do something, and then you think, “Gosh. That looks easy. I could do that.” … And then thousands of dollars, maybe hundreds of hours, several bruises, and many, many cuss words later, you just hire the professionals to not only do the original job, but fix everything you broke in your own ill-advised efforts. Not saying that would be what happened today in You Say You Want an Evolution, but it could have. We professionals are much too kind to ever point that out, however. Honestly, this year could prove a useful diversion, truth be told. “Our” team goes up against the reigning league MVP heading a team with six-months’ worth of pent-up frustration, and we lead with a fellow from a college known for academics who a couple of years ago had a big game against Purdue. 9/2/16	Should you decide to manage a web site at any point in your life, you will be faced with two primary schools of thought regarding updates. Some make the argument that many, smaller, “posts” make for a better user experience, because people tend to be busy, so they do not really have time to get through a long update before they have to leave to do something weird, like have a regular life. Others feel that fewer, although lengthier, additions to the site fit busy schedules better because people do not have time to log in every day, and if you do a lot of small updates they may miss something in their absence. If you have been a member of any of the Risqué Communes sites, you know that we basically use both strategies, basically at random. Our philosophy, you see, reasons that if you have updates of any size which feature Inari Vachs, Kristal Summers, and Stephanie Swift, people will figure it out. 8/30/08	Oops. You’ve undoubtedly read somewhere about the importance of being a good example for your children, indeed for anyone around you as a practical matter. You know, “You lead much better by example than you ever will by direction” and all that. (For now let’s just forget about that whole Machiavellian philosophy and Sun Tzu, Art of War things. They’re overrated anyway.) … Well, somewhere along the line our buddy Maverick determined that our particular brand of humor must constitute the “proper” way of all web presentation. Consequently if you decide to foray further today, you’ll likely see some, um, video creation that firmly demonstrates our failure as exemplary figures. Of course Mav now thinks that every American uses “y’all” as a part of their normal conversation and all of us have alarm clocks that play “Titties ‘n’ Beer” every morning. 8/29/08	Oh, D.Minion was floating in the excited clouds today. 8/24/08	All good things come to an end, at least that’s what people who are trying to rationalize their condition after realizing that they won’t be able to enjoy something that has been really fun try to think. For us, having the Olympics on pretty much all the time in the office has been a splendid way to add a little mix to the mesh. We will miss it for the next couple of years, but we have learned about a whole lot of countries we’d never even heard of, so that’s a bonus. Also for us, assisting Maverick with his redesign has come to an end as well — which goes to show that even not necessarily all that good things come to an end too. Whew. Now we’re able to go back to the more fun adventures, this time involving our much more traditional entertainment in Kristal Summers and Dee. Everyone should have closets full of things like we do. We figured out why Mr. Carrington enjoys our site (at least as much as we’re sure he would if he actually knew who we are, naturally). Early in his act he relates a story about going to church that certainly sounds like us. “My heart’s in the right place,” he says, “It’s just my mind that wanders off into the gutter.” … Now this really has nothing whatsoever to do with D.Minion’s coverage of Angel Cassidy Exposed, but it was funny. 8/12/08	We can’t help it. International sports has been a common topic of conversation around the office this week, and so we got to wondering. 8/11/08	Oh, good grief! We turned on the Olympics each of the past two weekend mornings, and can you guess what NBC was showing? Yep. Still, what are the odds? Well, in addition to dodging phone calls from Maverick we also decided to show off something that not even one Olympic competitor can claim. Dee. 8/8/08	We had to post today, because all those eights are really good luck, and we can generally use all the luck we can find. If you knew about eights being good luck, and you’re not Chinese, then odds are good you’ve been watching all the hype for the opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing tonight. In the spirit of friendly competition we thought we’d feature a couple of a different kind of athlete today, albeit in slightly less clothing. OK, actually Faith Leon and Puma Swede basically have no clothing at all, which really makes it hard to get those endorsement deals, you know. Maybe if Nike starts making high heels or something. … So in the spirit of friendly taunting (that often accompanies that friendly competition), we called Maverick to ask if the Brits even watch the Olympics or if it’s just too depressing. Mav said they often do well in “rowing” …. Uh-Huh. We often pop down to the sports bar and slug down some beers while we watch “rowing” on TV. That sure gets exciting. 6/30/03	We’re taking a moment to publicly apologize to SteveD today. We’re sorry we ever had the unkind attitude that called your picture taking skills into question. We’re very sorry, in fact, and we’ll never do it again. Today we have the “Mini-Minion” report on Erotica LA, and Mav managed to include 135 photographs to illustrate it. Some were in focus. Some even had people in them. However, ALL of them were horizontal. We’ve never seen anything like it. It’s amazing. So, SteveD, we’re sorry. We’ll never cast aspersions on your photograhic integrity again … probably … we think … possibly. (Hey, it could happen.) 6/20/03	We interrupt the regularly scheduled Ninn Worx Weekend to tell you that the truly unthinkable has in fact occurred. It was raining in Los Angeles in late June. Guess who’s still in town … Point in fact, and in penance probably, our buddy Maverick’s gone and given us all another gift, though. The inspiration went as follows: We returned home from a convivial mid-day meal with the incomparable Michael Ninn. Fascinating conversation flowed as Michael and Maverick dazzled each other with the depths of their personal philosophies. They talked of Kafka and Camus, of Aristotle and Aerosmith. (It was truly strange.) Then we pulled into the driveway and noticed we had a guest at our home. When we told Mav that this was Kristal Summers’ new car, he caught his breath, blushed, and promptly walked into the vehicle we had just parked. Ah, love … Then he made this for y’all. 6/17/03	Maverick’s been a busy little beaver, well, hampster, during his visit here, and he’s now created some really groovy new screen savers for everyone. We have noticed a trend. The new plan around the office is to just threaten manual labor as a diversion, and the bright young chap will come up with all sorts of things to keep him busy and make the site better. The leaders of the Revolutionary War should have known about this trick. 6/10/03	Well, Maverick’s in town, and as you guessed we haven’t seen the sun in Los Angeles for two days. To make matters worse, he had the audacity to complain (during his last visit) about the truly wonderful and fun slide show that Craig put together for us. That particular fascinating escapade we finished coding before the sun even set on Day One. Maverick, our good friend, brought us an entire new section of downloadable wallpapers, featuring all of our favorite women. We technically made it a “today” post, but this is another of those that only count in you live on the West Coast or in Hawaii. All of you can enjoy these new toys.
