| 12/20/23 |  Sometimes you get curious about a movie simply because of the concept represented in the name, wondering how the producers managed to avoid the myriad of potential pitfalls from both social and legal perspectives. … OK, so sometimes you get curious about that after you have seen a lot of these sorts of movies and have been on literally thousands of movie sets. At that point the whole, “Hey! She’s naked!” thing really doesn’t stop the clock anymore. Not saying whether that constitutes a good thing or a bad one, of course (but probably a bad one). Still, if you find yourself less interested in the nuance of making movies in this industry, perhaps Naomi and Elena and friends can suitably distract you in “Creeping Tom 2” today. So like most of life, not all “cleanliness” in this context has been created equal — and in Shayla’s case it happens to be more unequal than most — but she does share readily, and that’s always nice. Essentially today we wander from Cytherea’s bedroom through Cannes, France all the way to Paris — an event that involved many of our stars (and of course the Eiffel Tower, naturally). Of course we chose “From Bedroom to Boudoir” to highlight this little travel adventure, because honestly we just could not work pommes frites into the story. Apparently a reference to charisma, because young people grow up now with a hatred of multi-syllable words, the word coincidentally fits perfectly in connection with our old friend Nick East. Of course (A) Nick may not be the most interesting part of today’s entertainment for you, and (B) over the years Nick did many scandalous things, this example being but a minor one of them. Perhaps between culture, religion, and biology, we have simply over the millennia created a completely impossible situation, a circus of expectations and secretions, if you will. Whatever the case, no matter how difficult a “normal” relationship may be, factor in a porn career, and you’ve just added a complexity we might need a mathematician (or a psychiatrist) to solve. Our leader renews some long-held views today with a “Beau Toxic” look to smooth out the wrinkles. Not to make fun of a genius or anything but trying to make parting less painful by calling it “sweet sorrow” is like trying to ease the impact of amputation by calling it weight loss. Seriously, when you really enjoy something, do you ever really want it to end? Have you ever in your life thought, “Well, by golly, that certainly constitutes enough Dee for the moment?” … Yeah, well neither have any of us and yet 
After careful consideration, the Offices of the Risqué Commune have reached a unanimous decision that we should all become Jewish. Now this has nothing whatsoever to do with religion, or God, or even a preference for unleavened bread. In fact, we do not even know if any of the people from today’s Macbeth episode are Jewish. Nope. It has nothing to do with any of that. … You see, we just found out that Rosh Hashanah starts tonight, which — as we also found out — means that Jewish people are celebrating a New Year already. Since 2020 has colossally sucked on so many levels we cannot begin to enumerate them, we simply decided to convert. So that’s all there is to it. Right? (Oh! The title alone should give you a hint as to our direction today. We called this 
What is the question? To read or not to read, that is the question. Right? Because you already “be” all that you can be in this America. Right? Although you cannot roller skate in a buffalo herd any more successfully now than you could when the song came out in 1966, even though the Army was already being all it could be back then. … It does get confusing, we realize, so we shall provide a hint: When one has Holly Hollywood on tap, performing in a profession she truly loved, well, the reading part may not be all that important. We’re going to go try and go 
If you dig up a buried treasure, does it cease being treasure and become something mundane like really expensive cool stuff or some such? If you have really expensive cool stuff, actually, why would you bury it in the first place? How many of us carry around a spare shovel just in case we might need it during the day? And if you must bury your treasure, why does everyone always put a big ol’ “X” on the map so that everyone knows where the really expensive cool stuff can be found? If you put like a dachshund emoji or something, people might think you odd, but they probably would not be digging for all your valuables. … These are the sorts of thoughts that consume us here at Risqué, y’know while 
If you have ever had to read Stream of Consciousness and then try to explain its brilliance to someone, then you might have some understanding of what work orders before a long weekend can look like around here. If you happen to be one of those people who looks at modern art and cannot for the life of you figure out how one bunch of squiggly lines, or red squares, yellow dots, and blue triangles displays greater talent and keen insight into the human condition than any other, well, you should apply for a job here. You’ll fit right in. 
Living these days comes down to pretty much feeling like a professional funambulist. Ironically, the whole “fun” part tends to be distinctly lacking, however. Between getting glared at for not wearing a mask, to getting glared at for wearing a mask, like outside has become pretty darned complicated. How many of us ever thought we’d ever even have a remote opinion about which kinds of masks we like versus which kind we do not? How many of us ever considered owning masks in different styles and colors before a couple of months ago? Then there are the “hoax” people … which we should likely not comment upon. So we just decided to stay inside and look at 
The more things get dicey in real life, the more they seem to get dicey in our Play Misty observations. In both real and vicarious life, though, it seems that 
Spend about 15 seconds on any news program these days, and you’ll figure it out. Try going into some previously “normal” store, or basically anywhere out in public, and it might take a couple of minutes instead of 15 seconds, but you will reach the same conclusion:

We all happen to be living in very strange times. Regardless of what has happened when we can finally consider this whole COVID-19 thing “over” — whatever that ends up meaning — the world will be a fundamentally different place. Currently some leaders have undertaken various acts of broad, narrow, or quite possibly simply denial aspects. A percentage of the people consider those decisions wise, thoughtful, and undoubtedly difficult, albeit well-intentioned. The rest of us consider these actions, to use the technical term, completely and wholeheartedly wackadoodle. This morning a headline in the paper boasted that a local aquatic center would be partially opening soon, for example. How crazy is that? If you only partially open an aquatic center, all the water is going to leak out. …
