While stuck at home watching [some adjective here] people lashing out at confinement and economic shutdown as they venture into public unprotected and in close quarters, we also had the following opinion: We can see how they might be questioning medical experts and government officials who talk in macro terms while we live in micro ones. That said, while we could not force them to be human test subjects for the omnipresent “this is a really bad idea” theory, we find ourselves perfectly willing to let them volunteer. We hope they’re all correct, and we can all go back to normal very soon, because all the panic has been completely over-blown. If we keep having movies where the evil villain gets to have sex with three smoking-hot women at one time, what kind of a message are we sending? … And that will be precisely as far as we go with that train of thought, thank you very much.
