8/31/14	Apparently, “That which does not kill us makes us stronger.” It follows as a corollary, however, that Those who make us stronger, then, certainly need slapped a good one, because they might be trying to kill us. We looked it up on the Internet, and you still can’t just go around killing people, but as near as we could tell, simply glaring at them while hoping their favorite sports team losing the next 100 games in a row would be just fine. 8/30/14	Ten years ago this month Georgia Adair did her last professional movie, the end of her custom trilogy from Michael Ninn called Becoming Georgia Adair, Chapter III. At the time we decided to hold off an entire decade before telling this story, naturally having absolutely no realistic expectation that we would still be not only operational, but expanding, when the years had passed. 8/27/14	Anyone who has ever had to memorize the nuances of Strunk and White understands that they could have been a bit more interesting had they chosen a bit more riveting of a subject matter. A study of Elements of Good Sex, for example, would likely have ensured full attendance in every class. Fortunately for us, the ChickaDees break into the writing ranks today, with just such a topic. 8/23/14	Everyone loves sports. (OK. So maybe not everyone loves sports, but all of the sane people do.) Even people that enjoy sports, however, may not enjoy boxing so much, and not even because sometimes one of the contestants gets an ear bitten. Understanding that, though, we still think pretty much everyone will enjoy Topless Boxing, at least when the two opponents happen to be Kristal Summers and Tanya Danielle. Standards change. The “average” consumer gear gets increased capabilities without them buying anything new, or doing anything differently. Then we have a couple decades’ worth of experiences to try and correlate with Terabytes of stored “assets” (again, as it were), while every day the cast of characters changes. 10/16/11	All things considered, we have a pretty good life around here. 10/2/11	Sigh. The plan was to put this up on Sunday night … and then … depression set in. On the stripes of the gridiron the only thing that makes the Colorado professional football team better than Colorado’s biggest college football team is that the college team has played one more game, thus recording one more loss. Many might assume that being from a state even colder than Colorado, say, Wisconsin, would be a fine reason for depression of an entirely more aggregate view. But you if you happen to be a football fan, Wisconsin’s not a bad place to be. … Still, we’re trying to cope the way we do. Too bad Uncle Gibby’s not allowed to look at the video here. 3/12/11	Most of you probably haven’t spent much time looking at web traffic statistics, because, let’s face it: Why in the world would you want to do something as horribly geeky as that? Well, some of us around here actually enjoy that sort of thing, and sometimes we’ll notice just the oddest trends. Over the last couple of weeks, for example, we’ve been getting a lot of searches for Heather Vuur. (She was Vandeven. Then she was Vuur. Then she went back to Vandeven again. People and their names in this business … .) Now we wouldn’t consider it “odd” because people are interested in Heather, because that makes perfect sense to us, but considering what we may be able to talk about soon, today’s story of D.Minion’s first foray “Oh, Vuur” the hills to visit with Heather seemed to make a lot of sense, so we decided to sort of throw it in out of order here. You’ll find it much easier to browse through the 150 or so photos of Heather with our new system, and you might begin to give some thought to what we “may” be able to talk about soon. 3/11/11	Nary as mystical a thing exists for a typical male as a “Girls Night Out” – well, except a “Girls Night In” probably.
