6/30/23	Humans tend to be fairly creative when it comes to devising ways to work in a little self-satisfaction time. Most of these tend to be fairly private events, however, so when you see the “setup” in some of these “professional” movies, the whole thing can strike one as at least ludicrous, if not downright laughable — probably not the desired intent, by the way. Then again, most people would look at London Keyes in just such a situation without ever once feeling like bursting forth with a hearty chuckle. 6/24/23	Every athlete has their own way of warming up. It really depends upon what kind of athletic event one envisions for their immediate future, but in general the activity involves stretching the various muscles you expect to use, doing things to get the blood flowing to the relevant body parts, and even getting yourself into the proper state of mind to excel at your intended task. In our world, the athletic events tend toward the not exactly family-friendly (but potentially family-creating for sure), so the warm-up may be slightly different than with some other forms of cardiovascular activity. Sure you use lots of muscles, so stretching never hurts, but if you think about it, the best way to prepare for orgasms — at least for women — could very well be to have orgasms. 9/30/09	You don’t often get the chance to hear how a woman that has made porn her chosen career for a very long time ever wound up at that decision in the first place. Hey, how many porn stars do most people run into around the office, after all? Well, in our final summer tribute to Wendy Divine (or Maya Divine; we’ll pay tribute to pretty much whatever name she’s using, truth be told.) we let everyone in on her story. As the warm days of the year begin to peter out for most of the country, Wendy just seemed like a wonderful focus to us. 9/23/09	Did you know that “solipsistic” means “the theory that only the self exists, or can be proved to exist” (this according to dictionary.com)? Now we’re not at all sure what this means in the context of our little web blog, but we can tell you that having learned this word now we can save you the trouble of reading a rather lengthy and dull British mystery novel, so that’s a bonus. (And rather than simply give you the name of said book, we thought it best to advise you to avoid all British mystery novels written in the last 20 years, just to be safe.) And while we couldn’t find the technical antonym to solipsistic, we can tell you with confidence that the conclusion of Wendy’s diary of her time at Hedonism III in Jamaica would certainly fall into the non-solipsistic category, wherever the existential-minded might find that. For our part, we feel that the best thing about philosophy in general has to be that one can simply disagree in principle without ever really needing to substantively controvert any assumed facts, because that defines a philosophy, after all. … Fortunately, that will be the extent of deep thinking you’ll find evidence of today, unless many, many pictures of Wendy, Inari, and Becca create them for you. 9/22/09	We’ve heard “’tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved before” of course, although having lost a love or two over the years, we can’t really remember this sappy little saying every making us feel much better at the time. Even in the decidedly less romantic environment of adult entertainment, it’s always really sad when you lose your first girl, a lesson Dear Maverick laments today. It could be a deep and philosophical commentary on legal trends spanning the globe, particularly as those issues pertain to technology. Or it could be a thinly-veiled excuse to look at Anais, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, Mia Smiles, and a handful of their female porn friends doing … well, what female porn friends do. 3/19/06	You know how sometimes you get these “technological advances” that turn out not to be so helpful? Well, for some inexplicable reason we looked up the “Word Count” in D.Minion’s article On the Set of Fem: Diva and Lost Angels: Olivia Del Rio before we started to compile it for you members. This was not a smart thing to do. We have no idea what possessed us. All we accomplished was scaring ourselves to death, and then we still had to do the work anyway. If we hadn’t, you see, you’d have missed the 245 pictures of Anais, Dee, Olivia, and even Kristal Summers (albeit in a “crew” capacity). On the other hand you would have missed the pictures of horses, cows, old farm equipment, and a couple of Port O’ Potties too, so you can look at this two ways at least. Still, the beautiful women (and Eric Masterson, Carol) probably make up for it. At the very least you’ll learn that city-people are funny. 6/19/04	Wendy’s lingerie items have been earning some note lately, which makes a great deal of sense when you look at them. But as much as we like looking at pictures of Wendy in lingerie, it still doesn’t compare to actually seeing Wendy in person. Sadly, we’re not able to do that for this round of LA Erotica, but while the gang’s all roaming the room, compiling God knows what all, those of us not actually attending this year decided to remind everyone what a visually compelling couple Wendy Divine and Eric Masterson make. We found a D.Minion story validating the theory, and we found 75 pictures to go along with it. If you can’t go to the convention, this makes for a nice way to forget your misery. 6/16/04	I’ve been using “computers” since we stored data on cassette tapes. I remember when we thought a Ten Megabyte hard drive was just ridiculous. No one could ever use that much storage space. The “new” 3-1/4” floppies were almost as good as sliced bread. I know something about computers. But D.Minion can do things with electonics that baffle even folks a lot smarter than I am. She gets error messages that I’m pretty sure Microsoft just put in as a joke — knowing no one would really ever do what it would take to get that message. Why is this important? Because in today’s Night Calls Report, D.Minion has done some truly amazing things with her digital camera, although she claims she has no idea how. It doesn’t really matter, because Juli Ashton and Tiffany Granath (and guests) look good, no matter how you look at them. 6/8/04	Have you ever been just beside yourself with anticipation? Well, in actuality that probably has very little to do with Inside Myself, which happens to be Anais’ next movie, just out from Ninn Worx. Still, probably some people really looked forward to it, and so we’ll stick with the intro. D.Minion was on her mark with the pictures this time around, although having Anais, Dee, Isabella, and Nikita Denise as subject matter probably didn’t hurt anything. In case you’re wondering, there are also dogs eating eggs, old mechanical equipment, motorcycles, wonderful architecture, and school-girl outfits. D.Minion died and went to Heaven. 6/7/04	You ever notice how things seem to go around in cycles? Here we hadn’t seen Lola in about a year, and then she shows up on Night Calls. And now, coincidentally, she reappears, this time playing with Kristal in D.Minion’s account of Not Another Porn Movie. Well, there will be a lot of Kristal today, but that’s OK. We do feel sorry for Maverick, however, as there are many, many pictures from which he will have to choose his new Message Board Icon. Come to think of it, maybe that serves him right.
6/4/04	Every time we try to get “official” with our handling of the web site by programming some functions to operate automatically, we get something wrong. We end up spending a lot of time and money, and then a stupid period or space or something is in the wrong place, and everything grinds to a halt. Consequently, many of you probably didn’t see the June 1st post (below), which was supposed to work in the fancy way, but everyone seems to have seen the June 2nd post — which we did the old fashioned way. Rather than dwell on our stupidity, however, we’ve decided to just ignore it and concentrate on Day Two of Angel Cassidy’s Sex, Money, Power shoot, which has not only a bit of Anais again, but also a whole bunch of Dee.
