10/31/16	In our bizarre little world, the phrase “Trick or Treat” takes on a vastly different meaning than you will likely hear at your doorstep this evening. (At least we really, really hope so, and if not, you live in a truly weird neighborhood.) Still, as the holiday season approaches most of our office sets to the task of planning for next year, having either successfully completed the schedule for this year or having decided to just scrap a bunch of it after a suitable application of tequila. 4/21/11	Just in case you’re ever curious, you should know that the only people that ever win in a lawsuit are the lawyers. Legal fights beat you up financially, emotionally, and depending upon how long they drag on, even spiritually. They’re not fun. Sadly, however, they are sometimes necessary. As we understand it, you’ve got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything. All in all, the only thing you really learn from lawsuits boils down to an addition to your list of people with whom you never want to have to see ever again in your life. Sometimes the lawyers don’t end up being first on that list, but they always make the list for sure. Even for attorneys, though, all good things must come to an end, and eventually even the most acrimonious of disputes reaches some form of resolution. Today would be such a day. … Whew. If you don’t believe that just listen to the richest 10% of the people in the country bellow and start talking about the President’s citizenship every time he dares suggest they should probably try to contribute a little more to help the country get out of its economic mess – that he didn’t create, by the way, but let’s not get too bogged down in politics. … In that non-political spirit we’re dishing up our own risque brand of tax relief today. 4/12/11	We would love to say that we spend hours and hours thinking up clever titles for our ever-so-insightful commentary on the risque commune sites, but that wouldn’t technically be true. Sometimes, though, a couple of very good ideas get thrown into the mix, and then we have a debate, granted about the silliest of things. 4/6/11	Back before he started making sausage, Jimmy Dean recorded a song with a chorus that began, “I won’t go huntin’ with you, Jake, but I’ll go chasin’ women.” Most of you will probably be glad to hear that this does not happen to be the song in which you can find Shayla naked in the music video. That said, as between early 1950’s country music – Ice T’s “Body Count” – and sausage, we can’t honestly say which we’d like to see made less. Shayla dancing naked is always good, however. 2/28/10	Maverick and 247AdultStars begin the "official" Adult Entertainment Expo coverage, which makes those of us waiting on the reports from Lon and Steve just a little nervous, quite honestly. If you think about it, one doesn’t need to spend much time writing two or three hundred words, particularly when you’re talking about the contributors around here. Oh well, in typical fashion we’ve decided to panic about that bridge when we suddenly have to cross it, and at least Mav decided to break this mega-event up into four parts. For our part, we’ve decided that only brief editorial comment, supported by a very few quite wonderful pictures of Kristal Summers at home might be just the ticket today. Apparently there’s a big hockey game at the Olympics that people want to watch anyway. At least hockey makes some kind of sense as a sport, we’ll give it that. 2/21/10	We’re not sure how many of you actually watch the world competitions going on up in Vancouver right now, but we do have a question for any of you that might be more knowledgeable than we seem to be. What kind of a person thinks it’s a wonderful idea to jump on a sled and fly down a winding tube of ice when the first thing that hits something if there’s a problem will be their head? Shouldn’t we all be just naturally wary of a sport called the "Skeleton" anyway? … At any rate, while pondering these more confusing questions, we’re continuing our own Olympic efforts with the Dee at KSEX saga, not only because it stands in marked departure from Mav’s latest entry, but also Dee has really great breasts — which never seem to be covered up by all that necessary winter clothing. 9/30/09	You don’t often get the chance to hear how a woman that has made porn her chosen career for a very long time ever wound up at that decision in the first place. Hey, how many porn stars do most people run into around the office, after all? Well, in our final summer tribute to Wendy Divine (or Maya Divine; we’ll pay tribute to pretty much whatever name she’s using, truth be told.) we let everyone in on her story. As the warm days of the year begin to peter out for most of the country, Wendy just seemed like a wonderful focus to us. 9/27/09	After giving it an admittedly brief period of discussion, between all of the people in the office, we decided that we have met people with the names of every month of the year except October and November. Maybe that means that parent have a thinly-veiled prejudice against early Fall, but we never really got a chance to consider that much, as the conversation quickly transcended into a raucous enjoyment of the names of celebrities’ children. Rather than bore you with our mundane conclusions, although the elder among us do find it still difficult to top “Dweezil” and “Moon Unit” by the way, we should probably just send you on your way with August — she of the august impression. 9/23/09	Did you know that “solipsistic” means “the theory that only the self exists, or can be proved to exist” (this according to dictionary.com)? Now we’re not at all sure what this means in the context of our little web blog, but we can tell you that having learned this word now we can save you the trouble of reading a rather lengthy and dull British mystery novel, so that’s a bonus. (And rather than simply give you the name of said book, we thought it best to advise you to avoid all British mystery novels written in the last 20 years, just to be safe.) And while we couldn’t find the technical antonym to solipsistic, we can tell you with confidence that the conclusion of Wendy’s diary of her time at Hedonism III in Jamaica would certainly fall into the non-solipsistic category, wherever the existential-minded might find that. For our part, we feel that the best thing about philosophy in general has to be that one can simply disagree in principle without ever really needing to substantively controvert any assumed facts, because that defines a philosophy, after all. … Fortunately, that will be the extent of deep thinking you’ll find evidence of today, unless many, many pictures of Wendy, Inari, and Becca create them for you. 9/22/09	We’ve heard “’tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved before” of course, although having lost a love or two over the years, we can’t really remember this sappy little saying every making us feel much better at the time. Even in the decidedly less romantic environment of adult entertainment, it’s always really sad when you lose your first girl, a lesson Dear Maverick laments today. To his credit, however, Mav seems to have been able to steadfastly muddle forth, unlike D.Minion, who always lapses into vast chasms of despondency whenever one of the risqué ladies moves along to other paths. “They’re all the ‘first girl’ in some respect,” DM explains. “Yeah, but now we have another major headache we don’t have to worry about,” we generally counter, “Don’t let that pesky silver lining get in the way of your cloud or anything.” … D.Minion sometimes doesn’t think we’re funny, by the way. 9/20/09	Although certainly valuable in theory, too much absorption in retrospect can lead fairly quickly to a rather maudlin view of current conditions if we forget to take some care with our memories.
