Shayla LaVeaux

Petal Pushing — with Shayla (and Milk)

I got back to the Riv just as the Pack was clinching the win, so I knew Gibby would be a happy man. To make it even better, he’d bet on the game as well. [Gibby? Bet? … NAW … ] In fact, from what I could gather, he had a great streak of winning bets the whole time he was there. So he decided to splurge a bit and take in the Crazy Girls show at the Riv. My pockets weren’t quite as full, so I opted to hike to the Paris and ride up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. It’s one of those things I always say I’m going to do, but never get around to. [And, gee, we don’t have any pictures of that either. On the plus side we do have a final bunch of Shayla.]

It was a beautiful, brisk evening. The ride up the Tower almost made me believe I was in Paris, because I think I was the only English speaker in the elevator. It seemed entirely appropriate to hear French, Spanish, and I don’t know what else being spoken around me. We all stepped out onto the observation deck, full of good will, to be met by a family of drunken Englishmen bellowing and laughing and making complete fools of themselves. These were toads in A-hole mode. So I snapped a few last pictures, rode back down to the strip, and bid Las Vegas goodbye one more time.

See you next year. [As far as we know, Shayla did not in fact give Steve a milk bath on this trip, but should she at some point do so, we have but one request: Dear GOD, please don’t take pictures. … Oui, Oui, Oui … all the way home.]

[We did not spend our time adding hearts to all of the “inner” pictures, as you can see. We simply broke the links to those pages. D.Minion said we should leave the navigation in place, however, just to show there are many, many photos and/or videos involved in most everything we do. As jobs go, this is a good one.]
