X360 Pilot - part two

“Piloting” X360 — part two

The duo listened to directions, but since this show was planned as extemporaneous, they decided not to rehearse too much (a la Regis and Kelly), so their conversation would be fresh! [Of course by the time you talk about not wanting to talk about it, you’ve already been talking about it for way too long for it to qualify as extemporaneous. Silly Directors never seem to understand that point. … And speaking of perhaps missing the point, now seemed like a dandy time to present the following three photos from the D.Minion “Art in Life” collection. We’re not sure why they exist either, but they do break up the page nicely if nothing else, and showing them off does make DM happy – always a bonus here.]

I followed them onto the stage – which was in front of a bar. (I checked the bottles. All had been turned sideways AND “greeked” so we couldn’t tell what brand of liquor was in what bottle. R-I-G-H-T. Kahlua looks like Kahlua no matter which way the bottle is turned!) Then I ran between the stage and the makeup room. Still no luck in cloning myself. … [Yet some people maintain there is no God. … Oops. … So much for making D.Minion happy. On the upside, we’re generally long gone before she gets a chance to review the posts for the day, and by tomorrow she’ll have another whole dog-walking episode to distract her from comments like that.] Adam and Heather reviewed several movies, including Babysitters and Batman XXX. If I hadn’t known that they didn’t know each other well, their easy, joking style would have made me think that they were good ol’ pals! Working valiantly against the noise in a studio with no interior doors, and with work trucks beeping through the exterior ones, the duo was spot on with their reviews! My favorite was the one for Batman XXX. Heather was completely weirded out by the Joker’s real mustache being covered in white greasepaint makeup. “Holy creepie, Batman,” she laughed. [Actually Randy (Spears) offered to shave it off, but the Director (Axel Braun) thought it would be funnier to just cover it this way. Odd what little details can dominate a conversation in a porn movie, right? They almost never talk about the woman they’re supposed to have sex with.] Sigh. Both she and Adam are too young to remember the Batman TV show from the 1960’s. Cesar Romero was the Joker back then, and HIS real mustache was covered with white greasepaint makeup. [Really? What do you know? Apparently D.Minion is the only one here old enough to remember that. … Dog-walking Diversion. Remember.] I’m sure Randy Spears was just tipping his hat to the elder actor!
Even More Risque:  Kristal Summers Overall
Adam thought Heather’s suggestion of a Batman/Robin/Joker pairing in the next parody was a bit odd, but I thought it sounded cool! [Yeah, the potential appeal of that whole boy-boy-boy scene really sort of depends upon the sex of the analyst for the most part. Girl on Girl Sex = Excellent! … Boy on Boy Sex = Weird, and potentially Creepy. … It’s completely a double standard, and moreover one I personally happily embrace. Sue me.]
