The Carnival of Shayla Knowledge

P.J. SparxxThe Tunnel of Love (sort of)

by Nobody Special

Technically they put me on task to tell a quick story about a movie called Carnival of Knowledge, all in an effort to provide members with an enhanced Shayla Knowledge — an admirable goal all the way around. I’ve never been to a carnival that had a Tunnel of Love as a ride, just so you know, but the title felt like it fit our business better than “Tilt-A-Whirl” so I went with it. Sometimes if you have no way to be exactly sure what you should be doing, you simply need to keep yourself focused and be ready to react. My grandfather always told me, “God gave you two ears and one mouth. Listen twice as much as you talk.”

Over the years that philosophy has done well for me, as far as the adult industry goes, perhaps never better than on this particular set.

You see Carnival of Knowledge may not have been the greatest movie that ever came out of Porn Valley, but we did meet Steve Orenstein — at that point just an upstart kid with a wild idea to start a video company called Wicked Pictures — on this shoot. As it turned out, this movie also served as the introduction between Paul Norman and the second Risqué Management client ever, our own Shayla LaVeaux. As a matter of fact, we were so new that Shayla had not yet begun to hate that last name, one she curses me for to this day every time she has to sign it hundreds of times at some appearance.

Strangely enough, “Yeah, well, oops!” just never seems to pacify her. You know, they get to be big stars, and there’s just no satisfying them. …

If you see us in Vegas next week, buy me a beer, and I’ll tell you some wild stories about Paul Norman and Steve Orenstein, but we really don’t have the time right now. Each of them provided invaluable mentoring over the years however, and I will always be grateful. I am also grateful for the memory of coming home to find P.J. Sparxx (the star of Carnival of Knowledge interestingly enough) naked and getting spanked over the top of my coffee table too, but this story will have to wait as well. That story does in fact have something to do with both Paul and Steve, but probably not in the way you’re thinking, to the chagrin of both perhaps.

Even More Risque:  Petal Pushing — with Shayla (and Milk)

Just to assure you that you have not lost your mind, the featured photographs have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with Carnival of Knowledge, Paul Norman, Steve Orenstein, or Wicked Pictures. But they do have something to do with the annual Las Vegas convention, which seemed like a better topic to me.
