7/31/16	As we think back, it seems hard to believe, what with our general mental state around here, but today might be the first time we’ve ever used the word “discombobulate” in an editorial. “How can that be?” you ask … or more likely “Why do we care?” … Well, you probably don’t, but you might care about seeing Brooke, Nick Manning, Voodoo with an extremely weird hair style, and an honest to goodness Shakespearean Actress on the set of Sacred Sin, Day Two with D.Minion. Actually, as it turns out, we’re headed BACK to LA to shoot EVEN MORE footage for this thing, since apparently we don’t have enough set ups to sufficiently create the pathos necessary for the audience to identify with Nick’s character, and we don’t technically have any footage of Eddie Van Halen for the music video on Catherine that Michael somehow promised publicly on the web the other day. 7/27/06	Wow. We’ve been off doing such secretive things we can’t even tell you out here what’s up for today. It does make it good to be a member, though, and that’s always nice. We can mention that the “Secret Dude” everyone’s been emailing about since we first started talking about has been allegedly identified by AVN magazine as Eddie Van Halen. 7/18/06	Dee, Anais, Angel Cassidy, Wanda Curtis, and Isabella are dropping by this morning with beautiful and diabolical intent. … Now if that doesn’t sound like a wonderful opening line to a mystery novel, well, then, you can see why we don’t write mystery novels. … Still, talent issues aside, it’s nevertheless turning out to be a dandy day, what with 200 pictures of beautiful cavorting naked women and a simple way to irritate the computer nerds right at your fingertips. 7/15/06	Oh, it’s another one of those posts … you know, the kind where you need a nice large cold beverage to accompany you while you attempt to get through all that D.Minion can say when the new Ninn Worx contract player, Heather Vuur, DM’s oldest “New Best Friend,” Dee, AND her newest “New Best Friend,” Jassie, all end up on set over one long day. On the upside there is a super-secret hidden (sort of) video clip that will mark the first time anyone outside of the office has been able to see the goings on at Michael Ninn’s Sacred Sin. On the downside, this is only Day One of the Shoot … and there are four more to go. Come to think of it, maybe that’s another upside. … Yeah …. We’re going with that theory. 7/11/06	Now today 7-11 can remind you of something other than a really, really big gulp of something cool and refreshing to drink. It can also remind you of beautiful naked women, and you really have to be pretty old to remember the last time that 7-11 reminded you of beautiful naked women. Without getting too much into corporate politics and all of the “red” states in the middle of the country during the last national election, we can honestly say that it’s possible that after looking at Julia Ann and Inari Vachs today, in our (oddly) never-before-seen retrospective you may think about needing a tall glass of water, even if you don’t have a chance to get it at 7-11. Back when 7-11 had naked women in magazines behind the counter, you know, no one actually purchased water in little bottles. 7/4/06	A more politically correct group probably wouldn’t point out that the vast majority of Americans are having some sort of celebration today, pretty much at the expense of our (current) friends across the Atlantic. However, in the spirit of new-found allegiance it seemed quite appropriate that we take advantage of today and let some of our British friends help us have a good time. Of course a more politically correct group probably wouldn’t try to use logic that thin, but it’s a character flaw we’ve learned to live with. 6/29/06	We have a curiously brief report on Erotica LA today, possibly having something to do with D.Minion’s sudden (and almost unexplained) incapacity. Gee. We just can’t figure out what happened. But there are 60 pictures here, and some video clips of items seen at the show that almost uniformly have no practical application. Come to think of it, that pretty much defines our goal in life. 6/25/06	LA Erotica was actually a bit wackier this year than it has been historically, and we’re blaming D.Minion. That seems fair since she’s been hanging out with Lorraine Sisco altogether too much and has plastered us with 310 pictures, a secret mpeg, and 3000+ words covering the bizarre second day of Lorraine’s The Catalyst. These two women should quit hanging out so much together, and so we’ve decided just to tie DM to a chair in the office, or maybe to one at her house so she could commune with her cat. We’re definitely breaking her keyboard, so enjoy these Mega-Epics while you can. Some day we’ll look back on this and laugh … She swears. 6/20/06	It’s a bit of nostalgia, with stories of a young Devinn Lane, and it’s a bit of awe, as we look at all the Wicked Pictures can do with a DVD release, and it’s more than a bit of the shamelessness that makes us loveable that we’re offering today. Well, maybe we’re not loveable, per se, but that’s really the only word we could think of on the spur of the moment, and we didn’t want to delay you any further from D.Minion’s review of Wicked’s Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre. 6/19/06	Well don’t everyone fall off of their chairs or anything, but we’re back again. The new system seems to be working remarkably well (although we’ll almost certainly regret saying that). We’re going with just a typical little D.Minion story today, this being her “pre-production observations” of Sacred Sin. We looked at the entire story in Word and learned, much to our dismay, that the entire discourse covers some 10,027 words. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, our immediate suggestion was to just give y’all a dozen pictures and let you keep the change. D.Minion’s look was not one of adoration at this suggestion, however. So we’re breaking it up, and we promise to get through it all – if for no other reason than everyone here is pretty much afraid of D.Minion. Women in their 40’s get a little scary you know … . 6/18/06	This isn’t so much a “let’s see if this works” kind of thing as it is a “OK. Fine. We’ve been promising you we’d do this since the Dark Ages (translation: Before Sacred Sin), so now we’re finally doing it.” sort of thing. That said, we still ended up with a rather intimate portrayal of a Fine English Lass named Faye, courtesy of our friend Maverick. Granted, Mav sometimes forgets to focus, and he never once looked into the background of the shot, but considering what Faye was doing and what she was (or was not) wearing, we can kind of understand the scattered approach. For an evolved amateur, Maverick seems to be catching on just fine. He even included a couple of variations on a video theme that we’re just going to stop talking about now, and for the record, we’re just going to assume he’s not the “P” in “POV” … . 6/17/09	Experimentations and Confirmations continue as we struggle desperately to find something to serve the dual purpose of being interesting for you, and giving us a chance to stretch the limits of our server capabilities. 6/17/06	Those of you that have been members for awhile will recognize the “Gee, we tried to automate the mechanics here, and we’re just sufficiently weird in the way we approach the web that even really smart web people can’t figure out how to fit us into any sort of automatic database system.” Ah, well. Quite honestly this isn’t the first area in life where we’ve continued to learn that we just don’t fit in all that well. … So we’re back to the old “do it by hand” method, and we’ve got to run through the variety of different types of posts that we do in order to be sure everything’s back to normal — well, normal to us. You can start today to see if things Clique for you as they have for many people (judging from sales of the title), and we’ll move along to the next “hand-crafted” category. 3/26/06	It depends on how you look at today’s first Ninn Worx Weekend in too long a time. It could be a deep and philosophical commentary on legal trends spanning the globe, particularly as those issues pertain to technology. Or it could be a thinly-veiled excuse to look at Anais, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, Mia Smiles, and a handful of their female porn friends doing … well, what female porn friends do. Consider it Unbridled – in various fashion, and then just enjoy it. That’s what we’d do. Who cares about lawyers anyway? Sometimes it can be good to just enjoy the pretty girls, even if they have reached to ripe old age of 28. (And yes, some of us do in fact have shirts older than that. So what?) 3/19/06	You know how sometimes you get these “technological advances” that turn out not to be so helpful? Well, for some inexplicable reason we looked up the “Word Count” in D.Minion’s article On the Set of Fem: Diva and Lost Angels: Olivia Del Rio before we started to compile it for you members. This was not a smart thing to do. We have no idea what possessed us. All we accomplished was scaring ourselves to death, and then we still had to do the work anyway. If we hadn’t, you see, you’d have missed the 245 pictures of Anais, Dee, Olivia, and even Kristal Summers (albeit in a “crew” capacity). On the other hand you would have missed the pictures of horses, cows, old farm equipment, and a couple of Port O’ Potties too, so you can look at this two ways at least. Still, the beautiful women (and Eric Masterson, Carol) probably make up for it. At the very least you’ll learn that city-people are funny. 3/17/06	You’re supposed to wear green today. Or maybe you’re supposed to wear orange, it’s just that most people think you’re supposed to wear green. Like most things in life, it all gets really complicated if you look at it too closely. That’s why we chose blue. Actually we chose Wendy Divine in (and out of) blue. And if you think about it logically, you’re probably going to want to pinch Wendy pretty much whatever she’s wearing (or not); on a good day, she might let you too. 3/11/06	Well, a lot of things have happened to the Risqué clients over the years, but oddly enough (particularly considering their vocation) this is the first time we can remember that one of them got pregnant. We’ve had a few marriages over the years, but this will be the first offspring – at least that we know about. Now that doesn’t really have anything to do with the Night Calls post today, but we did want to publicly congratulate Juli Ashton, and wish her the best. 2/26/06	Do you know how you know you’re in Los Angeles? I was sitting outside a little sandwich shop yesterday and a guy walked down the street in one of those t-shirts that have obviously been washed about 500 times – you know the “favorite shirt” kind of washing? The shirt said, “If we are what we eat, then I’m going to be you in the morning.” THAT’S how you know you’re in Los Angeles. Now you might want to decide if you’d rather spend a few days in LA, or (finally) peruse D.Minon’s account of the 2006 AEE. They should both take about the same amount of time, we’re betting, but the DM insights will still be cheaper, so they have that going for them. 2/21/06	We’ve got a Big Time Stall going on around here today, but that doesn’t matter as much because we’ve also got the luscious Sarah Blake to help us fill our time. We’ve often said that we lead a very strange life, but it may be that strangeness has no bounds around us. A graduating high school senior (Yes, he’s 18, D.Minon.) casually asked me at lunch if I knew anything about Porn Stars. It seems his final paper has to do with “Women Enslaved by Pornography.” And the only thing this kid knows about me is that I’m friends with his dad. I expect I’d better ask Dad how much I can tell the young inquiring mind. As it turns out, I probably do know something about this subject. The rest of you should probably just enjoy Sarah. 2/17/06	It’s quite possible that we have a Secret Agent as a member. At least that’s the latest philosophy around here, as we all went through Mr. Moto’s Photos from the AEE. After looking at over 1,000 pictures, not to mention actually attending the event, you’d think we wouldn’t be surprised by the people that our good friend managed to photograph. So we figure he just has some special powers, but at least he only uses them for good, and he does share with us after all, so that’s OK. 2/1/06	We’ve said it before, but we really do lead very strange lives around here. And apparently the condition can be catching as we’ll learn today. Once a distant Kristal Summers fan, then a shy Members’ Party attendee, and eventually a regular visitor to the Risqué homefront, our friend Maverick has taken a professional turn that’s really hard to explain. Now it’s not so much that the industry has a new webmaster among its members as it is that Maverick is that new persona. We know Maverick, and Maverick does NOT shoot POV videos with professional adult entertainers. Something is very, very wrong in the universe. We’re calling this “Fayed to Maverick” but that’s only for as long as it takes us to find that “Turn Back Time” Machine.
