10/31/16	In our bizarre little world, the phrase “Trick or Treat” takes on a vastly different meaning than you will likely hear at your doorstep this evening. (At least we really, really hope so, and if not, you live in a truly weird neighborhood.) Still, as the holiday season approaches most of our office sets to the task of planning for next year, having either successfully completed the schedule for this year or having decided to just scrap a bunch of it after a suitable application of tequila. Were this the only oddity about The Catalyst then we’d feel pretty much OK, but as my favorite aunt used to say, “Y’all ain’t seen nothin’ yet.” You know, drawling is a lost art. 4/16/06	And now for something completely depressing. … As we think about it, this might be the first time we’ve ever introduced a story with this sort of lamentation, but this is also the first time D.Minion ever wrote about her last night on Night Calls – ever. Still, we’re supposed to remain upbeat in the face of adversity, but we’ve really always thought that was an overrated concept. Heck. If you’re feeling down, you should have the right as an adult to scream, cry, kick you feet, and just generally act in a juvenile manner. Otherwise what’s the point of being an adult? Well, you can eat ice cream whenever you want, but other than that? Come to think of it, you might want some ice cream as you read about this conclusion of era. 3/26/06	It depends on how you look at today’s first Ninn Worx Weekend in too long a time. It could be a deep and philosophical commentary on legal trends spanning the globe, particularly as those issues pertain to technology. Or it could be a thinly-veiled excuse to look at Anais, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, Mia Smiles, and a handful of their female porn friends doing … well, what female porn friends do. Consider it Unbridled – in various fashion, and then just enjoy it. That’s what we’d do. Who cares about lawyers anyway? 3/24/06	We figured we’d ease on into the weekend with a little bit of Dee on her birthday … well, and then in her birthday suit. Sometimes it can be good to just enjoy the pretty girls, even if they have reached to ripe old age of 28. (And yes, some of us do in fact have shirts older than that. So what?) 3/19/06	You know how sometimes you get these “technological advances” that turn out not to be so helpful? Well, for some inexplicable reason we looked up the “Word Count” in D.Minion’s article On the Set of Fem: Diva and Lost Angels: Olivia Del Rio before we started to compile it for you members. This was not a smart thing to do. We have no idea what possessed us. All we accomplished was scaring ourselves to death, and then we still had to do the work anyway. If we hadn’t, you see, you’d have missed the 245 pictures of Anais, Dee, Olivia, and even Kristal Summers (albeit in a “crew” capacity). On the other hand you would have missed the pictures of horses, cows, old farm equipment, and a couple of Port O’ Potties too, so you can look at this two ways at least. Still, the beautiful women (and Eric Masterson, Carol) probably make up for it. At the very least you’ll learn that city-people are funny. 3/17/06	You’re supposed to wear green today. Or maybe you’re supposed to wear orange, it’s just that most people think you’re supposed to wear green. Like most things in life, it all gets really complicated if you look at it too closely. That’s why we chose blue. Actually we chose Wendy Divine in (and out of) blue. And if you think about it logically, you’re probably going to want to pinch Wendy pretty much whatever she’s wearing (or not); on a good day, she might let you too. 3/11/06	Well, a lot of things have happened to the Risqué clients over the years, but oddly enough (particularly considering their vocation) this is the first time we can remember that one of them got pregnant. We’ve had a few marriages over the years, but this will be the first offspring – at least that we know about. Now that doesn’t really have anything to do with the Night Calls post today, but we did want to publicly congratulate Juli Ashton, and wish her the best. 11/26/05	We have, you may have noticed, perhaps a slight tendency toward the insouciant. Believing fully in the value of the irreverent, though, we’ve nonetheless somehow managed to offend sufficiently few individuals to still be around a full decade after venturing into the now antiquated BBS form of the Internet. Well, things have a tendency to keep moving along, and the value of this retrospective potential spawned the last post of our “Thanksgiving Week, 2005.” We had one remaining D.Minion story for an old compatriot, and we decided this would be a good time to use it. So we did. Hey, once we finally decide something, at least we get right with the program. By the way, if you ever hear us plan on putting up a post every day for a week, no matter what our benevolent intentions, will someone please call a doctor? Someone’s clearly very ill at the office. 11/23/05	Michael’s finally got a new home for Ninn Worx, so he’s happy. And tomorrow we get to see Santa Claus in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so what’s not to be happy about? 11/22/05	We’re continuing our thankful ways today with a look back at Dee – before she had her own show on Playboy/Spice TV, and before she had her own show twice a week on KSEX. 11/21/05	Well, it’s the beginning of Thanksgiving Week, and so we thought we’d do some giving of thanks this week. We’ve always thought that if you can’t be clever, you can always just be literal. So we’re starting with Julia Ann because quite honestly Julia came to us near to perfect and she moved on just the same way. It would be nice to think that we had a lot to do with Julia’s success over the years, but that’s just not the case. Julia’s seriously one of the most sincere and caring individuals we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with, and the fact that she used to spend time naked over at the house just kind of worked as a bonus over the years. Now if you ever happen to see Julia Ann on tour somewhere, be sure and tell her about all of the nice things we’ve said about her, and then see if she’ll get naked for you. We also debut the appearance of the Existential Comic in what may turn out to be his only appearance in these wonderful pages – not that he’d care much one way or the other.
