4/22/25	The entire Earth celebrates this day with a holiday not as famous as some certainly, but perhaps (or almost) as giving of peace, optimism, and general goodwill. For now, we must either forgive them for the era as we patiently (once again) explain that Asian is for people. 4/1/25	It all started innocently enough. Somebody made a joke at a meeting about us claiming to be doing an entire Lorraine Sisco shoot in one fell swoop of an update for April Fool’s Day. We all laughed, knowing the … um … quirky nature of our favorite Tall Goddess when she took the reigns on the shoot of her own. It was funny, even though the public at large would not be aware of the humor, thus making it a bad idea for a public celebration of this day anyway. … But — and this would be a big, big BUT — the new personal taking notes on the meeting somehow missed the humor intended and dutifully created the schedule. Thus after three people working two full days, we suddenly have ALL of the shoot presented again. Turns out the joke was on us, because only a fool would do such a thing. We’ll give you a couple day on this one, ironically exactly how long it took to shoot originally. You’ll be less tired after, though. … We’re going to try and explain humor to the Gen Z people. Still, as the holiday season approaches most of our office sets to the task of planning for next year, having either successfully completed the schedule for this year or having decided to just scrap a bunch of it after a suitable application of tequila. 4/21/11	Just in case you’re ever curious, you should know that the only people that ever win in a lawsuit are the lawyers. Legal fights beat you up financially, emotionally, and depending upon how long they drag on, even spiritually. They’re not fun. Sadly, however, they are sometimes necessary. As we understand it, you’ve got to stand for something or you’ll fall for anything. All in all, the only thing you really learn from lawsuits boils down to an addition to your list of people with whom you never want to have to see ever again in your life. Sometimes the lawyers don’t end up being first on that list, but they always make the list for sure. Even for attorneys, though, all good things must come to an end, and eventually even the most acrimonious of disputes reaches some form of resolution. Today would be such a day. … Whew. 4/18/19	Most of us would agree that only a few things in life can annoy us as much as paying taxes. When theory crashes into personal reality, however, you can almost hear a universal whining. If you don’t believe that just listen to the richest 10% of the people in the country bellow and start talking about the President’s citizenship every time he dares suggest they should probably try to contribute a little more to help the country get out of its economic mess – that he didn’t create, by the way, but let’s not get too bogged down in politics. … In that non-political spirit we’re dishing up our own risque brand of tax relief today. 4/6/11	Back before he started making sausage, Jimmy Dean recorded a song with a chorus that began, “I won’t go huntin’ with you, Jake, but I’ll go chasin’ women.” Most of you will probably be glad to hear that this does not happen to be the song in which you can find Shayla naked in the music video. 2/28/10	Maverick and 247AdultStars begin the "official" Adult Entertainment Expo coverage, which makes those of us waiting on the reports from Lon and Steve just a little nervous, quite honestly. If you think about it, one doesn’t need to spend much time writing two or three hundred words, particularly when you’re talking about the contributors around here. Oh well, in typical fashion we’ve decided to panic about that bridge when we suddenly have to cross it, and at least Mav decided to break this mega-event up into four parts. For our part, we’ve decided that only brief editorial comment, supported by a very few quite wonderful pictures of Kristal Summers at home might be just the ticket today. Apparently there’s a big hockey game at the Olympics that people want to watch anyway. At least hockey makes some kind of sense as a sport, we’ll give it that. 2/21/10	We’re not sure how many of you actually watch the world competitions going on up in Vancouver right now, but we do have a question for any of you that might be more knowledgeable than we seem to be. What kind of a person thinks it’s a wonderful idea to jump on a sled and fly down a winding tube of ice when the first thing that hits something if there’s a problem will be their head? Shouldn’t we all be just naturally wary of a sport called the "Skeleton" anyway? … At any rate, while pondering these more confusing questions, we’re continuing our own Olympic efforts with the Dee at KSEX saga, not only because it stands in marked departure from Mav’s latest entry, but also Dee has really great breasts — which never seem to be covered up by all that necessary winter clothing.
