The GingerLynn.com creation represents a very different kind of adult web site. Sure you get naked people doing adult things, yada, yada. But you also get something very unique. You get history, and evolution, and insights only possible from someone that has lived an industry from infancy to omnipresence. [Don’t worry: You do not need to appreciate words like “omnipresence” to enjoy GingerLynn.com. Truthfully it actually focuses much more on videos and photos, as it were. (You also do not need to appreciate phrases like “as it were” … but it helps with Risqué as a rule.)]
Ginger has created a sort of ever-expanding library of her life events. While all sorts of niches for all sorts of kinks exist on the adult web, none of them has quite this refreshing perspective. Even in the digital age, libraries can be wonderful places. [True. You should support your local one, and even visit it some lazy Saturday, what the heck.]
Eternally Young Ginger Lynn
To be perhaps painfully direct, when we first started talking to Ginger about hosting her new [and finally her own] web efforts under her name, we all had the same sort of embarrassing fear. None of us can speak to the Ginger of the 1980’s, but the Ginger we know happens to be one of the most open, caring, and empathetic people around. The problem from a business standpoint being that Ginger has also spent the last 30+ plus years basically being in-your-face honest with everyone — even the press. So what could she do that would encourage people to spend twenty bucks a month on her?
Then she showed us a closet full of photos like these. She gave us a tour of the last couple of years with her radio show “Blame It On Ginger” and the vast range of stars she gets to converse with via GingerLynnAuctions. We had decided. [Full disclosure: She also happens to be a wonderful cook, and anyone who knows us knows what suckers we are for people that feed us.]
Bottom line: Ginger’s a fascinating character. And when it comes right down to it, what more can we really ask out of life than to be surrounded by fascinating characters? [Well, maybe one could want a miniature dachshund too. They’re fascinating as well.]
