en Medias Resting by Just Another Day in Paradise [We have a “real” web site, run by “real” people — despite a distinct tendency towards Geekiness. Consequently, we have on occasion run into more “Super-Geeky” technical difficulties with certain modules on the site. In these cases we bring in some of those Serious Geeks that […]
My New Mama by Bubblegum To quote Steve Martin, I was born a poor black child. My early life was spent on a dusty no-name farm deep in the heart of Texas. I never knew my daddy, but Mama did her best to raise us up right. [Does anyone else remember the Travis Tritt remake […]
[A week or so ago, the gang published a birthday “effort” featuring Jana Jordan. Although a bit low on the technical score — getting an incorrect Brea, and all — they did bring up an important point that made the gift heartwarming after all. The list of women that risqué did not represent, but certainly would have, happens to be a remarkably short one. Jana Jordan would certainly be on that list, however. Given Michael’s current Jana-craze, and the post from a week ago, we decided to update the story of the first time I met Jana (and Bubblegum). We’re going to have to skip a lot of relevant topics today, as if we didn’t we’d never finish before we ended up with a longer article than DM, Mav, or Lon have ever dreamed of creating. Besides, new pretty girls are always fun, and there’s no sense denying that we all hang around here because we’re honest enough to admit that.
As usual things go in phases around here. When you’re in the movie business, it can have been years since you’ve been to a location, and suddenly you find yourself there three times in two weeks. You won’t see someone for ages, and all of the sudden you see them so often you feel like you need to add them to the Christmas Card list.
Oddly enough a few industry people apparently read “the risqué site” because out of the blue we’ll get questions about something we’ve posted. True, we give away the memberships to folks in the adult industry, but for most people the $20 isn’t really the issue. They need to be interested in the “angle” or “insights” — and then they need to be able to read. (So there’s that.)
