10/31/16	In our bizarre little world, the phrase “Trick or Treat” takes on a vastly different meaning than you will likely hear at your doorstep this evening. (At least we really, really hope so, and if not, you live in a truly weird neighborhood.) Still, as the holiday season approaches most of our office sets to the task of planning for next year, having either successfully completed the schedule for this year or having decided to just scrap a bunch of it after a suitable application of tequila. Be joyous, whatever the case. That would be our suggestion. If pressed, we would give Gran Patrón as another idea, y’know trying to be helpful and all. 10/19/16	There have to be at least tens of thousands of ways to make a cheap movie, and that might be a conservative estimate, depending upon how narrowly one defines “movie” as a concept. Economics, however, comes into play not only in the creation of the “product” but also in its distribution and ultimate consumption by the consumer. Fortunately for you, that will be the last bit of economic theory you will hear from us today — or probably for a lot of days, truth be told. Just remember this little tidbit from the adult movie world: They do not make gonzo movies year after year just because they’re cheap. People also like them so they buy them.
