5/27/20	Drawing grand life conclusions from watching adult movies might be a little suspect as a personal philosophy, but some things make perfect sense. Like if you have to go to jail, try and get into the same cell as Asia Carrera and Gwen Summers. See the problem, though? First you have to call up Asia and Gwen, try to get them into the same small place, then all commit some minor crime together so you end up in the same place. And we really do not start the conversation well before this same ReelRisque Team has had a chance to “Cut the Ribbon” — or broach the subject — themselves. Today marks one of those rare days, however, as the elders at Risqué find ourselves certain that we picked up on aspects those whippersnappers would miss completely. 5/18/20	Who knew that adult movie sets regularly benefit from a liberal use of something as antiquated as an antimacassar as it proceeds through the day? Granted, we pretty much just call them towels, but from now on we know better. In what would turn out to be our last dabble in the “Spearmint Rhino owns Ninn Worx” debacle, we could have really benefitted from a little classing up of the operation as it turns out. As we begin our vacation to that historic time, you should take your solace as we did at the time: Just ignore all the politics and focus instead on the beautiful naked women having fun. Hollywood production companies may not “return” for months. We shall celebrate our good fortune in being able to pull from unused archives. Most cannot. 5/14/20	People with demons can make for interesting friends. They make truly horrible life partners, but for the odd weekend away, they can be wildly entertaining. Of course people with demons also make interesting characters for movies, and people with demons who show up for therapy sessions wearing sheer dresses with garters and stockings make for exceptionally interesting movie characters — particularly with both a male doctor and female nurse present for the therapy. 5/5/20	Have you ever tried drinking a nice frosty margarita or sipping truly fine tequila through a face mask? It sucks. Granted, these days we might even be sucking virus into ourselves, but since “they say” you cannot get COVID-19 from eating contaminated food, that part might not be a big risk. Still, you do not exactly want to filter your excellent drinks with just environmental yuk. Combine that with the whole “thou shalt not congregate” admonition in California, and suffice it to say that our annual Cinco de Mayo celebrate got 86’d in a most rude and sad way. We’re trying to make up for the pain with a little Mayo con Dee, Yes! party, which if not quite as festive does have the distinct benefit of being a wicked pun in a foreign language.
