We basically go from periods of controlled (sort of) chaos to those of sheer panic and bedlam — at least with a happy emphasis on the “bed” part of the equation. Consequently the “story lines” of the Risqué Members Area can most closely resemble perhaps an Escher creation, should one ever try to plot it out visually. While we would discourage that sort of plan in the interests of sanity, the pandemonium can lead to some wonderful things in our remastering journey. 8/9/21 CythereaBecause of the way we tend to weave all the different parts of the Risqué Commune together, sometimes when we do the remastering of original videos to modern standards tasks it can get complicated. A nice little illustrated article on one site may suddenly explode into a corresponding — yet completely separate — exposé on another. It would not be unheard of to have 3-4 “sites” all tied together under one video and photographic theme, actually. When this happens, and we have fallen down the rabbit hole, we try to poke our heads out long enough to realize that (in this case) we have uncovered a few minor miscalculations for Cytherea — and not some invisible cat. Believe it or not, the concept of innocent phrases used to exist. You could say something without worrying that it could suffer totally unwarranted misinterpretation at some future point. An ever-vigilant and thoughtful new member pointed out four missing large images in a post from clear back in 2006. Granted, Heather Vuur does not show any signs of ever becoming “old news” or anything — particularly around here — but we did want to show our appreciation for the effort taken to write in and point out the errors (quite politely, we should add). Obviously we could have simply fixed the four links on the photos, which we did — to cover ourselves whenever someone else goes back there — but then we got to thinking. … OK.
