| 8/15/25 |  Making movies in general tends to be a heck of a lot of fun. Making movies set in a time period other than the modern day one, though, can really ramp up the excitement. No matter what you hear, nobody really outgrows the joy of playing dress-up, and when you make a “period piece” (or a science fiction or fantasy movie), everyone seems to enjoy it just a little bit more. Granted, often you will hear actors complaining, wondering aloud how people ever actually wore clothes like that, but they still have fun.
