| 11/6/20 |  Well this has been particularly exciting, even for the chaos that normally surrounds a U.S. Presidential Election. Both sides always think the other misguided and lacking in the prioritization proper for whatever issues seem important at the time. However, this time about 50% of the people think the other 50% of the people are completely certifiably wackadoodle. (Sorry if we got overly technical there.) Then here we are four days later, and we still do not know if we are happy or sad, again, regardless of which side of the Trump fence you picnic. So we decided to highlight the discombobulation with a much smaller scale issue in Bluebird’s Macbeth, Act 2. While obviously holding vastly more importance on a global scale, the electoral process does suffer from a distinct lack of nudity. So we win! It turns out there may be some global medical situation impacting the core everyday lives of every human — at least the ones living in developed nations. Granted, the U.S. President obviously lives in a myriagon world (a polygon with 10,000 sides) because that would be the only way we can explain even being close to “turning a corner” on anything here in America. Politics aside, though, these extended times at home have made telephonic visits with old friends even more special. In our case we get to share more than many, which we decided to do today. If you like to play dress-up and you like candy, you would love spending the month of October with D.Minion. True to her desired form, she has in fact dedicated the October of Costumes for the entire Risqué Commune, and thus you may anticipate many, many specifically adorned adults doing all sorts of adult things as we approach the Month of Thanks — which some of us spend being grateful all the costumes are over, truth be told. Of course this year you will likely not have small costumed characters wandering the streets begging for candy, so you might not technically need to buy any to give out. At one point in life we feel like birthdays cannot come quickly enough. Then we spend a good number of years pretty much ignoring them unless we have a significant other from which we might receive special treats. … Then birthdays sort of become different animals which we actively ignore. Well Dee has a birthday today, and apparently she falls somewhere in the transition between those last two because although she did not want attention drawn, she shows no signs of actually turning down 
Talk to any serious fan of a team playing in the Super Bowl, and they will tell that they probably feel as nervous before the game as any of the coaches or players. Sure, we know we have absolutely nothing to do with the outcome, and whatever happens will have absolutely no monetary impact on our lives. It changes the conversations at work in the morning, almost certainly increases the beer consumption in the winning city the night before, but that’s about it. Still, having been on the other side of the equation a number of times, we can claim with unequivocal certainty: Winning is better. [STAR TAGS: Go Denver Broncos!]
Due to the unusually large number of televisions in the office, as well as the “office team” being involved in the contest, we have confidence that we have done our fan preparation well by watching all the claimed “88 Live Hours” of programming on the NFL Network. At this point, we probably feel just like 99% of the people out there, players included: Just play the damned game! Only somewhere over 100 million people watch this event, however, either for the football or the commercials, so one of our leaders — not in the 100,000,000 as you might have guessed — insisted that we come up with a distraction she labeled
