| 1/1/17 |  About the only New Year’s Resolution you can be sure of keeping happens when you resolve to stop making resolutions. At least that has been our experience. Of course you could “promise” to do something like eat all the bacon or macaroni and cheese that you can, understanding that nobody lives forever, so you might as well not be miserable in the process, but that seems to undermine the spirit of the system, if not necessarily the rule. On the other hand, if you follow the Julia Ann lead, things may honestly change for you, and she has a decade and a half behind her (so far) to prove it.
