“Piloting” X360 — part two

risque imageCircling back to the makeup room, I acquainted myself with Michelle Maylene. She was practicing her news copy, using her iPhone as a TelePrompTer. While we’d never actually met, her reading of the news was almost eerily familiar, since earlier this year, I spent several months logging old AVN tapes, including Michelle’s news program. Wow! She sounded just like herself! [We had spent many, many hours watching Michelle on tape, and it was rather odd meeting her in person and watching her do essentially the same thing for these cameras. That’s probably the closest I’ve come to feeling like a “fan” in 20 years. Honestly it was almost as enjoyable as the donuts.] I could tell that Michelle and I were going to be good friends because the first thing she told me about was her Maltese! She’d made matching witch/tutu Halloween costumes for herself and her puppy, and the photos were more than adorable! [We have graciously saved you from a repetition of those photos here. We try to be kind.] risque imageLike Nicki Hunter, Michelle is into comic books and science fiction romances. She was proud to tell me that she once met legendary comic book writer/publisher and Marvel Comics maven Stan Lee while she was on set with her ex. Ms. Maylene waxed poetic about science fiction romance novels. She explained to me that fairies and mermaids (when they aren’t Disneyfied) are very mischievous, and lead people to their death! (I’ll take the Disney ones, thanks!) The French/Filipino/Hawaiian beauty keeps herself busy as host of the Twistys web site. She also stars in Co-Ed Confidential (a soft core homage to Animal House) on Cinemax. And she regularly directs for various Cinemax shows. [Also, the lovely lass has a rather bizarre view of what “fun” piercings might be, as you can see. As she told the story, because of the danger in piercing on one’s wrist, you need to get an actual doctor to do it. They cost upwards of $1,800 each – and you can expect that only half of them will “take” (meaning your body won’t just reject them and push them out). Strange what some people do, isn’t it?] risque imageWhile lights and cameras were being set up for the next segment, Heather dashed home to pick up the toys she’d tested. (No one told her that she was supposed to bring them to set!) [These women get rather territorial about their sex toys, as you can see.] I snapped more BTS pictures! Check out Michelle with the groovy backdrop. She desperately wanted to touch it to see what it was made of, and after getting the OK from Sascha, she did! Surprisingly, it wasn’t the Styrofoam she thought it was; it was all hard plastic. [Actually the “balls” were in fact Styrofoam, but it never pays to annoy D.Minion with too much construction detail. She doesn’t really understand it, and thus she won’t pay attention anyway, hence her ongoing fascination with men on ladders, for example.]
