If you’ve been around here awhile, you know that we generally do an ostensibly festive, and usually frivolous post for Christmas Day. And that’s what we started to do again this year. … Then, well, everybody got to talking and things changed. …Consequently we still have a holiday theme here, but we ended up with more of a serious discussion (which you can feel perfectly free to skip, also as usual). Bottom line, we decided to wait a couple days to deliver you package this year, but even if you skip all the words in the Members’ Area, you can see why Taren Steele and Vicca made for a perfect present: SILVER BELLES. Robert Parker (through one of his characters) says, “Love is an amalgam of pathology, rationalization, and fantasy.” … Not bad for a guy usually relying on repartee for his insight. Now presumably at least some of these factors were present as Maverick attended a holiday party for the U.K. Adult Biz. They do seem to know how to throw a party, even if “love” might be stretching it a bit. For his part, Mav remained dedicated to his cause. As you’re well aware, the holiday season has arrived again, and in our determined effort not to miss our present from Dee, we’re showing her how well we remember our promise to complete her KSEX section sometime in this lifetime. It works well, actually, since we’ve sort of hit you lately with some rather lengthy and potentially thought-provoking work, and, besides, the NFL season is almost over, and there happen to be some wonderful games to watch today. So we were talking about Sophia Lynn’s story (again, as we seem to be some of the very few groups that seem to like and understand her), and how many of the women that leave the business seem to end up in one Church or another. The discussion took on a keener interest when Bijou noted that for all the times people find it necessary to “find” Him, He sure seems to get lost a lot – particularly for a Deity, after all. A few hours later we somehow ended up on the legal/moral/philosophical conundrums that the potential for actual human cloning represents. … Such is the life in a day of risqué. And people think we just hang around with beautiful naked and sexually adventurous women all day …. OK. We do, but there are other parts too, albeit possibly not as attention-grabbing. Depending on where your attentions lie this week, then, you can either enjoy Sophia in nude glory, or you can read our unique angle on some of the “Whys and Therefores” – THEN enjoy Sophia in her nude glory. You know how over here in civilization we use acronyms to serve as catchy and short ways to remember complicated titles? Did you also know that America may be unique in that approach? Maverick shows off Cate Harrington today, who just won the “BGAFD Award” over in England. And what does that stand for? Why “Female Performer of the Year” of course. … Did you ever just feel like blinking like Tweety Bird? If you want another lesson in UK English, you can think about how even strange French words like maneuver take on an even more confusing manoeuver in the Queen’s Land. You know, when we called Maverick yesterday to joyously tell him about the new Kristal Summers post from his trip here, he said, “Hey! Remember that I was going to announce the new Kristal videos on 247 and I made you screen grabs for Carol so you could put that part on risqué and talk about it too?” … And then we said something like, “Oh, yeah. That’s right. … Um. … BYE.” (Sometimes the Brits just don’t seem to understand the whole joyous appreciation of life thing. Have you noticed?) … So anyway we might be putting up this Kristal solo in the wrong order, but it won’t matter much in the long run. Well, it’s summertime for sure, and although perhaps not technically “easy” these days, it sure beats the heck out of the alternative. Besides, one of our favorite philosophies has always been, “If it were easy, anyone could do it.” … That said, Kristal Summers offers up a little proof that it’s a nice way for a white bedding, and any time you can get a solo Kristal into the same paragraph with Billy Idol and George and Ira Gershwin, well it seems like a pretty successful day all the way around to us. “Titillating” seems to be a reasonable goal around here, and sometimes we even manage to accomplish that without resorting to the obvious pun references the word implies. Theoretically we set out today to allow you members to see a much more visual distinction between the “Las” Vegas Adult Convention and the “Los” Angeles Adult Convention. D.Minion provides some highlights of the former while we wait for Lon on the latter. Now the LA part this year involved trips to (count ’em) three new restaurants, though, including one rather lavish buffet, albeit perhaps not up to Las Vegas standards. We will see. Those of you that have been around awhile will know how much Lon appreciates a good meal, and will consequently understand the labor-intensiveness of his current assignment. Then, as current events have a way of doing around here, more titillation has been ensuing, and we’re helpless to avoid its pull. At the very least, we entertain ourselves. We have a “Wilde” “Trinity” (with a triptych) today. And we even lay out our insightful version of the simple “Vachs” at risqué . Sometimes it’s confusing enough just saying what it is; have you ever noticed that? It may, however, lead to simpler understanding as you go through life. Thus, you may feel free to spend the rest of the week asking, “What it is?” to everyone you meet. Sadly, as a result of the recent major earthquake, one of the giant pandas at the Wolong Research Center in China lost its life. As do people throughout the world the children of the land love the pandas, prompting one distraught youngster to question which fine animal passed away. “Who died, papa? Which one was it? Papa, papa, who?” … At least this was how one of the major networks here reported the news. Probably because of time constraints the network cut away before airing the father’s reply, but we’re pretty sure it went something along the lines of “Papa, papa who? Mao Mao.” (… And if you know how to pronounce the most famous leader of the People’s Republic of China to date, and know a little American popular music history, well, it won’t make that the most impressive joke you’ve ever heard, but it will help a lot with understanding it.) … Fortunately today we’re taking a video look at our old friend Cheyenne Silver, and we’re not even mentioning a thing about natural disasters anymore. Still, it’s good to remain at least somewhat aware of world events, and it is Father’s Day, so we had to at least mention dads out there. (Besides, they might know The Beach Boys in China.) Well, we have to start somewhere, so we might as well start with the artistic angle, right? Or maybe we should start with the bizarre. That’s always fun. … Or we could show off some fancy Photoshop collages too; that would be nice, as would a custom video segment showing off the general weirdness of our existence. Those are always popular. … So that’s how we started bright and early this morning, and then we figured out that we’re in LA, and we just got back from Erotica LA …. And that pretty much ties together all these things. OK. So it’s not earth-shattering logic, but we’re really a lot better after a few cups of coffee. Ah, but we love the BTS footage. We find it a wonderful way to really see not so much what movie sets are like (because even if you’ve never been on one you’ve probably seen enough clips on television to pretty much know what they’re like) but because this type of footage gives the most accurate capture of the moods of the actors and actresses at a precise moment in time. (And you’ve probably seen enough clips on television to know that those little moods are nothing if not volatile too.) As is his now tradition, Maverick has also put together some screen grabs for Carol, since she still can’t see video on the web, as most of you probably know even if you’re not a member. By our estimation, Mav’s either a very nice man, has a not-so-secret crush on Carol … or he just thinks it would be very handy to marry an American. … For today, color us cynical and entertained. It makes you shoot at your landlord, and it makes you miss him.” … Now we have traveled all over the world, and we don’t think that this philosophy necessarily applies just to the Brits, even though today’s post does happen to involve a few of them rather substantially. Now it wouldn’t be a typical Christmas Greeting if we didn’t have something special for the members, now would it? OK. Usually they’re attached to some really bad puns, but you’ve probably come to expect that by now. Of course this year you’re all getting a very special gift by all of us in the office … and Lon, oddly enough. And Lon didn’t even know he was getting you anything, probably. But he’s been after us for some time to pop up all of those little images on the video wall out on the free side, and we’ve finally managed to make him happy. You can now look up all those little bitty pictures and see the “full versions” along with a caption that explains it. Get yourself some eggnog, as there are 116 “pages” here, but it should make for a dandy way to spend some time after you’ve given up on your new electronics and such. Having your football team only score 13 points isn’t necessarily bad – unless the opposing team happens to score 31, of course. And having all of this happen on Thursday, meaning they won’t be playing on Sunday at all really makes it worse. Of course we’ve seen the writing on the wall this year for some time and have been hoping for losses equaling better draft positions next year, but nobody seems to be listening to us about that. … So if you’re not going to listen to us either, you might as well not listen to us about Isabella Kay. So we’re discussing someone who has named herself “Porn Princess Christina” today, and she’s not in the porn business. She doesn’t even intend to be, at least at this point in her young life. Still she’s a big porn fan, has lots of like-minded female friends (who bear a remarkable resemblance to an old friend of ours, actually) and she represents perhaps an updated version of the porn consumer. Of course the “Old Boys and Corporations” that primarily run this business probably won’t notice, but maybe some day they’ll become members too, and then they’ll know everything y’all do.
