7/25/19	A slight possibility exists that some picnics are better than others. Granted, ants in your food are annoying, and spoiled fruit can be very disappointing. 7/21/19	Right after the annual convention in Las Vegas, all the press outlets scramble to give the most insightful coverage of the most scantily clad. Around here we rather avoid crowds as a rule; “Never want to be a part of any group that would have us as members” and all that. So we tend to post our feelings regarding last year as we approach next year. It works for us, and it generally gets us motivated to start making some plans. Should you wish to join our little group next January 22-25, you might think about some strategies as well. Competing with aging bowlers and overly virile cheerleading coaches can be annoying. 6/22/19	One of our current favorite commercials features two presumably “famous” people sitting in a salon lamenting something about their cell phone storage capacity (we think). One of the people looks at the other and says, “I had to delete a picture of my grandmother, to take a picture of my grandmother.” Well, data storage space becomes an issue for us all during our lives, from the time we begin to learn until the time we no longer can — because we’re, y’know, dead. Fortunately, today we have some still living and decidedly memorable people to celebrate. You may need to clear some hard drive space. 6/15/19	If you are playing a role where, for example, your character has the task of repairing a jammed printer, you might at least bring to the role some of the typical knowledge about what people do in an attempt to fix paper jams. This, of course, presumes you are of sufficient age to know what printing devices attached to a computer are, or indeed what the word paper means, of course. To accomplish this most successfully, you should at least pretend that you have no idea what a PDF might be. In fairness, should your character also know that it will be having sex with Kaci Starr in a few minutes, that might be more than a little distracting on the method acting aspirations. Of course only a small percentage of the “Real World” understands any of those groups, resulting in the fact that nobody much cares about the decades-old debate after all. 8/30/03	You know, occasionally our old buddy Bert comes up with some great ideas. His poetic review of Ninn Worx’ Fem: Diva inspired this week’s “Weekend” — displacing D.Minion’s “favorite” Olivia Del Rio, in fact. We’re pretty sure Bert can make this up to DM with copious beers at the Members’ Party in a couple of weeks, and we’re also pretty sure the rest of the members will thank Bert. Look at it this way: You’ll get to see Olivia eventually, and Anais is truly a feast for the eyes (and possibly some other stuff). 8/22/03	Most of you probably know that Juli Ashton doesn’t really fit the typical “Porno Girl” mold; Juli’s actually very bright (as are several other performers as a matter of fact), and so when she called in the other day with a quote that she’d read and wanted to share with us, we listened. If you’ve been a member for very long, you know that we tend to be fairly optimistic around here, and pretty much live with the philosophy of “playing the cards you’re dealt.” Juli’s quote, however, says that ever-so-much more eloquently: “Of all the things that might have happened, only one of them actually did.” Cool, huh? 8/19/03	Honesty would actually prevent us from claiming that ALL of the Risqué clients over the years have turned out to be far along on the “human sanity” scale, but, hey, retrospect is for whiners anyway. So on a day when we received a phone call to tell us of the supposed lengthy incarceration ahead for one former client, we happen upon a little story from May of 2001 that focuses on a different one. However, while we’ll confess to not always picking the most rational, or even ethical, of clients EVERY time, we can say one thing with complete candor: Some may turn out to be wacky, but darned if they aren’t all beautiful. We’re glad we ran across this, and we hope you enjoy it too. It’s a wonder we can find anything at all around here sometimes. Then again, I lose my shoes at least once a day.
