10/28/15	Fans of writing — of which one would likely find more than a few among the list of those belonging to the membership side of risque.com — will occasionally also be fans of well written movie scripts. If you count yourself in that crossover list, you may well remember that Wag the Dog happened to be an excellent script, brought to life by a few extremely talented movie folks. We find ourselves in a similar distracted focus situation these days, admittedly with much less of a “global significance” overall, however. On the upside, even with significantly less writing acumen applied to the issue, Nadia Styles, Dragon Lily, and Mia Austin provide a much more decorative inspiration than do Misters De Niro and Hoffman. Instead we have enlisted the assistance of Kristal Summers (and a few close friends) to provide RACK to the Future, an altogether more fascinating photographic inquiry. 10/18/15	When we were shooting Night Calls: The Movie 2 for Playboy TV, Juli Ashton’s co-star Doria — the Night Calls co-host before Tiffany Granath — was having a devil of a time remembering one of her lines. Somewhat sadly, the line was, “I get by with a little help from my friends,” which probably says more about Doria’s state of mind at the time than it does her musical taste. Here many, many years later we still remember that story and that song. More importantly, we still remember the concept, because each of us probably lives that way more often than we’d like to admit. 10/3/15	We all like to be in a position to do favors for friends, and when those favors have to do with nudity and sexual activity, well, we have just the place to help them out. Granted, some folks might not put helping out Shayla or Ginger in the “favor” category, but if it gets us homemade cookies, we’re going to count it. Not every favor has to be major, after all. 10/2/15	The folks over at ReelRisque added to their growing collection of “artsified” videos this week, as has become their tradition. Most of the time these updates include both videos and still photo galleries, but not every time, as you may have noticed. Actually, according to the page logs, a good percentage of you have figured out that although we tend to mention these updates on Fridays, they will sometimes technically appear a day or two earlier than that on the ReelRisque site. If you get used to watching the new videos off of that home page, though, you miss all the words, and if you do not check out our “OOMPH to the ILF in MILF” here then you will miss the small collection of stills too. 10/31/13	One of our telecommuting team members apparently has a tradition in his neighborhood where when the kids say “Trick or Treat” they get candy — while the adults get a shot of some sort, and not the kind that protects you from the flu. Now none of us has ever been to that particular neighborhood, but the kids probably run from house to house because it won’t be too long before mom and dad need to head home because they’re too drunk to walk much more. You’ll have to provide your own shots this evening but we have provided some dandy treats with Cytherea, Kylie Ireland, Syren Sexton, and even Summer Knight. 10/26/13	It seems like referencing Harold Hill in an adult web site might be a bit unusual, yet we happily do just that this time around. 10/17/13	Consider the concept of the Practical Homonym, these being words that may not technically “sound the same” but given the actualities of our speech patterns do in fact come across as identical to the ear. For example, Bijou spearheaded a track today which ended up being entitled “Minstrel Machinations,” but when she tried to explain the idea to the rest of us, we heard “Menstrual Machinations.” … Those seem different, really. … Fortunately we’re going with the former of those two concepts, so fear not. And if you think we made up the concept of the practical homonym, we can prove that we did not. Think about it: Country Music would not exist without it. So there. 10/13/13	Name a famous anthropologist. OK. Now name one that never had anything to do with primates. Better yet, name a famous “-ologist” of any kind, not including the fictional ones on television or in books. Fortunately, around here we can illustrate our “-ologies” with all sorts of interesting things, for example Keri Windsor, or even the still happily married Wendy Divine and Eric Masterson. 10/11/13	Everyone needs a friend they can go to with the really tough questions. And this friend should be available for most any emergency, at most any time. Well, not all of us can claim Dee fits into that category for them, but we can happily do so. She does seem a little confused when we call to ask her what kind of yellow mustard to buy or something — as if we’d call just to hear her voice or anything — but as long as she picks up the phone she sounds as adorable as ever. It has been going to voice mail a lot lately, though, so hopefully we won’t have anything other than condiment emergencies for a while. 10/30/12	Views vary widely regarding the topic of television in general, but it would be difficult to argue that whatever the shortcomings (or “evil” perhaps) a great many positive influences have sprung from the little box. Many a cultural wave has begun via some memorable line springing forth from a fictional character on TV. Despite this, dangers lurk, and we must remain vigilant in our filtering of the freely flowing electronic data. 10/8/12	In fourteen hundred and ninety-two, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. At some later point government officials decided to create a national holiday celebrating “the day” he discovered, well, the Bahamas, technically. Poor Chris had more things to lament than historical inaccuracy, as it would turn out, though. Had he only sailed 520 years later, he could have met Julia Ann on her birthday. True, he would probably learn more about “spicy” than spice, per se, but he would never have been in such a hurry to sail back to see the Queen of Spain either.
