| 10/31/26 | Human Sexuality covers a very broad spectrum — which we would have made a joke out of 20 years ago, but now it would be inappropriate. Obviously things change over time, but some of us have been most surprised by the way humor has evolved (or, y’know, devolved). Case in point today, things we might have laughed at owners even considering as movie series titles now might be on volume #12 in our feature TOC presentation. We don’t know what that says about sexuality, or humor, or just the general state of humans, but we’re pretty sure we don’t want to understand it either. Never underestimate the value of forced ignorance. | 10/30/26 | If you have ever had the chance to enjoy some decidedly adult behavior with a consenting friend out in the isolated beauty of nature, odds seem good that you found that a memorable experience that has stayed with you over the years. Now there are some technical considerations you might need to plan for in advance — like a comfy blanket will come in handy, for example. Should you be truly adventurous and wish to record that event, there are a few other things you should remember, which the folks behind our next Rawhide adventure may or may not have thought about at the time. … In fairness to them, naked horny people can be distracting. | 10/25/26 | One of the real benefits of having your own web site occurs when you have a chance to wish a good friend a happy birthday. Hey, it beats the heck out of sending a generic card, after all. Of course when you have missed the date and find yourself suddenly embarrassed, you may then apologize publicly, hoping to ameliorate any of the disappointment or ill will. When you get right down to it, it helps a lot if you can say, “But I made you laugh and gave you Asia Carrera.” … Based on our experience, most friends will forgive you at that point. If they do not, they might still be distracted by Asia. [STAR TAGS: Asia Carrera Video] |

| 10/19/26 | One might believe that the adult movie industry does not much utilize nuanced concepts of storytelling, such as foreshadowing for example. Of course, one might also believe that the adult movie industry uses foreshadowing with about as much nuance as a cast iron skillet swung against the side of your head. Honestly, if you try to read too much into the storytelling of the vast majority of these movies, you will only disappoint yourself, and likely get distracted from the whole point of the director’s intent. Wise people know, however, that Risqué exists just to fill in those blanks in the narrative. That way you can get along to the director’s intent without feeling lost. Of course this in no way diminishes the great fun that Ben Dover’s Employment Opportunities might provide when viewed with the proper filters in place — and under the right circumstances, of course. There ought to be a rule that unless you have intentionally irritated someone just for the fun of it, you are not allowed to complain about anything. … We do confess to having a grand time watching the younger ones become the older ones and then start complaining about the new younger ones. | 10/5/26 | Seek and ye shall find. … We’ve all heard that, right? Although if you think about that with a bit more depth, it never actually says that we’re going to find what we were seeking, or even that we will be better off having found it. In fairness, one might be able to presume those things if one happens to be reading the New Testament when running across that little diddy, but when you find it in the Risqué Commune, well, all bets have become presumably off. A sentence pulled from the remaster today reads, “We know: It ain’t perfect. … We also feel that we may well have evolved that concept into an art form.” … So maybe just seek something. Well, the bags are packed; we’re ready to go. We’re standing here outside your (virtual) door, but it seems highly unlikely we woke you up to say goodbye. We’re not leaving on a jet plane anyway, because the trip to Vegas by car takes roughly the same amount of time from Los Angeles as a flight, and you can carry a lot more equipment. You can also see the World’s Tallest Thermometer, buy bougie beef jerky, and peruse Alien stuff along the way too. We’ll be back in a week, though, and to tide you over we’re leaving you with heretofore
Most of us are spending the weekend confirming meetings, sorting and testing gear, being sure we have a myriad of charged batteries (and the cables to charge them later), and, y’know, being sure we have enough clean underwear. The annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas for the AEE show happens this coming week, you see. Since Steve has opted out of visiting with us this year, we decided to both offer up a little bit of fantasy that the stars provide with
Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together? Of course in this business that expression takes on a rather different meaning — risqué, even. We do not care about that part, though, although we do count ourselves as fans of a story coming together as it nears its conclusion. In this vein, we lead you to
We have another one of those “Rules that Should Govern Your Life” notes today. If you ever hear that there are
The more stuff you have, the easier it will be for your really good stuff to get stored away then leaving your conscious mind altogether. All those really important things that you just had to keep become of no value to you because you forget you ever had them. This must be one of the saddest facts of life. Unless you move A LOT, you will eventually find things you totally forgot about, though, and this will make you very, very happy — for example the
We have been around business in general — and this business in particular — for decades now. Just the other day a former friend pointed out that we have been running the risque site for more than a decade-and-a-half longer than some people performing in adult movies today have even been alive. (Now you should understand why we used “former” when referring to that friend.) … Regardless of that, we can tell you with authority that we have personally observed many, many ways to
This would of course be the time of year when we all try to “get back to normal” — whatever that means, and however far from what we thought would be “normal” growing up. If you have ever taken the time in your life for personal reflection, you probably know what we mean. The answer to the deceptively deep question, “How in the heck did I end up here?” can be amazingly therapeutic — y’know, along with just a tad terrifying. … No fear for us today, though, as we start with simple reflections and end up with
Right after the annual AEE (Adult Entertainment Expo) convention in Las Vegas, the sites all get flooded with at least what passes for coverage of the event. Granted, very few if any of them include photographs of hotel bathrooms, photos shot intentionally blurry, or even photographs of ceramic donuts. We have all the standard shots of beautiful women (and Evan Stone) too, but we hate to get lost in the shuffle and have everyone miss The Penthouse Boss in Silhouette. Besides, NOW you should be finalizing plans to meet us all at Resorts World this year. And here would be
Everybody likes to get an “A” on a test. (Well, everybody likes it except the really stupid people who claim grades do not matter all, generally after they have failed to achieve a good one.) This time around we get combine
Sometimes we do things because of their intrinsic newsworthy value. Sometimes we do things to illustrate that which shocks even the jaded amongst us. Then again, sometimes we do things simply as a favor to friends who happen to be good people who may, or may not, buy us cheeseburgers from time time. Then there are the much more rare times when a post falls into the “societal commentary” realm, where not to talk about something would indicate at the very least a grand disservice. … Of course other times we do things
Sometimes it seems like the people writing the movies, and the people making the movies, and the people doing the artwork and promotion for the movies do not really like each other all that much. It can definitely feel like they do not talk to each other very much when you find yourself considering all three aspects of a single show. … Of course on the other hand, most considerations of
Honestly we have no idea why somebody in those upper regions of decision-making between Risque and 247AdultStars decided that dropping everyone into Day 2 of AEE made any sense at all. Then again, if you spend too much time trying to make sense of every single thing around here, you will never have time to actually accomplish any of those things. Also, you will probably get a headache. Consequently, we plop you into the middle of what was
A great American poet taught us that if you cannot be with the one you love, you should simply love the one you’re with. Of course this great American poet has been married three times, which could be indicative of less than universal acceptance of this credo. Still, the advice may still have some merit for those in less ostensibly devoted circumstances, although today we change that up ever-so-slightly to
There are many, many recorded firsts throughout history, and to be quite blunt about them, the vast (vast, vast) majority of them qualify as “firsts” only insofar as the particular players in question. Understanding this, then, we can look back on the
The list of things fathers do not know about their daughters would certainly be very, very long if anyone ever tried to actually compile one. Considering all the guilt associated with many of these things, though — whether appropriate or not — odds are that very few people have tried to actually list them all. That said, if you have a daughter that handles herself as does
Humans tend to be fairly creative when it comes to devising ways to work in a little self-satisfaction time. Most of these tend to be fairly private events, however, so when you see the “setup” in some of these “professional” movies, the whole thing can strike one as at least ludicrous, if not downright laughable — probably not the desired intent, by the way. Then again, most people would look at
We tend to appreciate puns around here, both because the art celebrates the clever and also because it brings to play a kind of groan distinctly different from the general type associated with the adult industry. We have never shown nudity of any kind in our free areas of the web, believing that a simple button that says, “I promise I am over 18” has never once in history dissuaded a curious young person. Consequently, we save for members that one kind of groan, all while sharing the limber language mastery evident in the pun. Case in point, today we wrap up our cultural observation of a show featuring a common word that
Every athlete has their own way of warming up. It really depends upon what kind of athletic event one envisions for their immediate future, but in general the activity involves stretching the various muscles you expect to use, doing things to get the blood flowing to the relevant body parts, and even getting yourself into the proper state of mind to excel at your intended task. In our world, the athletic events tend toward the not exactly family-friendly (but potentially family-creating for sure), so the warm-up may be slightly different than with some other forms of cardiovascular activity. Sure you use lots of muscles, so stretching never hurts, but if you think about it, the best way to prepare for orgasms — at least for women — could very well be to have orgasms. Consistent with that theory, therefore, we offer
Since our buddy Lon has been spending time half way around the world buying souvenir shirts celebrating a city in a country right next door, it seemed like a good time to remind him of some of the very fine times he has in his own home town. Oddly enough, conversations within the industry have already been
We might give non-traditional gifts for Father’s Day around here, but in our defense, we do try to give gifts that everyone might enjoy regardless of their current parental status. That said, no matter how atypical our approach for fathers, we do an absolutely bang-up job when it comes to how men might become fathers. (You know, as it were. Bah-DUM-dum.) … The fact that we can do so with our old buddy Aurora Snow simply makes it all the more special. Seriously. Ask any father. [STAR TAGS: Aurora Snow Video, Stacy Silver Video]
This process of remastering the 247AdultStars library so that people can see the videos again in this post-Flash Video era can result in some odd timeline quirks in our brains. For example, it was not until we completed the
We have long ago given up trying to understand the men in the adult movie business, and that’s just the ones working within the U.S. industry. Factor in completely different cultures about which we may be (embarrassingly) under-educated, and we really have no hope of providing any meaningful insight or interpretation. As with many things in life that one enjoys a great deal, though, we can tell you that doing “it” professionally will be a lot more difficult than you might imagine. A look at more
All families have strange dynamics and involve a certain percentage of people well along the scale between quirky and bat-shit crazy. Some relationships in the family world do tend to have more similarities than not, however, perhaps chief among them the father/daughter dynamic. Of course no matter what you hear in syrupy Hollywood movies, only so much “truth” can exist in any relationship, a topic we begin exploring today via our
Remember that story about a person who kept a portrait up in the attic which had the purpose of being sure the protagonist would never age? To be sure, honestly anyone who knows Julia Ann could tell you that the ever-youthful lass has not in fact sold her soul by imbuing some picture from the Blondage years with all her getting old genes. That said, these same people might openly profess the apparent unfairness of a life where Julia remains as stunning and compelling as ever while the rest of us … um … do not. Truthfully, the leaders at Risqué have come up with a simple explanation for that without resorting to “Wilde” theories:
