Of course depending upon your educational background, you might not recognize this moment, but you may trust us when we tell you that it exists. That can be a poetic — as compared to prosaic — moment to say the least. We particularly like it when teaching something was never the point at the time of shooting, but appreciating the skill level of one of the players shines through brightly. While they might find examples of “objectified” certainly, they rather completely miss the fact that the women in our business completely run the show, which fact also pops that “abused” bubble — often loudly. We should all have a constitutional right to objectify ourselves, right? Does that not sort of hit that whole Free Speech thing right in the sweet spot (as it were, in this case)? Nowhere in the sex worker world may this fact be more obvious than with cam models, actually, a situation we continue contemplating with our Naked Chat story line today. Granted, that can be a pretty difficult line to draw when dealing with the kind of aggressive — not to mention completely not used to being turned down — women in this business, so if at all possible, you should try to have a real lesbian on staff who fluctuates between horny and really super horny. … Barring that, just know that if you need to tell a client she appears to be getting a bit flabby or putting on weight, this can be a very uncomfortable conversation to have. Sure, some folks may wonder if we can manage another 2.5 years, but those people clearly have no sense of adventure. We will try to offer solace in two ways as we all wait around for it to get dark so we can all watch a bunch of spectacular explosions. First, listen to the old folks around you and try not to panic. The 1960s were not all free love and barefoot hippies, and we survived that. More importantly, we have a fine distraction for you that works in the daylight hours, can be done inside in the air conditioning, and also invokes timeless appreciation regardless of political party. 11/29/02	Now that the Christmas season can officially begin, despite what Southern California retailers have been thinking since before Halloween, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the time of year for its emphasis on retrospect. Words like “tradition,” and “history,” and other such creche phrases (sorry, Lon) bring about a peacefulness, and a comfort with one’s place in the cosmos. Were that not so we would never have the nerve to draw attention to what a half-decade in Risqué evolution has meant. Each of us represents the sum total of our experiences, and the people with whom we’ve come in contact. Were it not for everything that happened in our past, none of us would be in precisely this position today. So we’re showing off a good bit of our past, and hoping sincerely you forgive us our graphic transgressions of the day. (Honestly, some of the graphics are down-right ugly.) If you do nothing else, take a look at what Nikita can draw with a trackball; these were some extraordinary women in wonderful times. 11/26/02	We’ve just decided to stop trying to make any sense of what we do. After putting together what in retrospect turns out to have been one of our largest single posts ever, we noticed that as a technical matter, this subject rests at best tangentially related to us. Still, when people catch our eye (our experienced and critical eye, actually), it seems worth note. Consequently, we created “A Stormy Brewing on the Horizon” and put it up for you. Hey, Stormy’s funny, and y’all know that’s our favorite characteristic around here. Sexy, willing to get naked, and funny: You’re a shoo-in for accolades. And it’s honestly nice to see success for a woman in the industry who’s not a “twig with tits” as some more crude than any of us here would be. We’re never crude. Really. Swear. 11/21/02	Contrary to popular belief, the most powerful person on the planet is not the President of the United States. The President has “checks and balances” and a whole bunch of folks that look over each and every decision, mostly trying to see what personal benefit they can get, but looking nonetheless. The most powerful person in the world is the cable guy. With almost no verifiable supervision, this person (and we admit “guy” may be “girl” ) determines whether or not your Internet business can actually connect to the Internet. They have evolved the “blank stare” into an art form; they can utter the simple phrase, “Hmmm” with devastating accuracy and result. They control our lives, and we can’t vote them out of office; you can’t really even talk to them without developing a nervous tick in your left eye. Dang. We say all this because FINALLY we can get back to work — four modems, two routers, no less than seven “service calls,” and 42 hours later — but who’s really counting? 10/31/02	The Essentially Dee week comes to a close, as it were, with visual depiction of a spontaneous lesbian orgy. Those, by the way, are our favorite kind. While it remains true in life that it’s all about whom you know, it would be a mistake to try to rank those people always in terms of their job descriptions. Sometimes porn stars are more powerful than presidents. Go figure. We’ve been given a new-found respect for those among us that teach, and we’re vowing to slap someone with a cold fish if they suggest a “Trivia Test” at the next Members’ Party. You see Inari was in Sex Court, the Playboy TV show, and in Sex Court: The Movie within a couple of weeks. So, well, we sorta mixed up the pictures, and now we’re looking at just another fine mess we’ve gotten ourselves into. Rather that go back and redo things, which regular readers might miss, we’ve just decided to come clean. This is the “real” D.Minion’s account of Inari Vachs in Sex Court: The Movie, but the pictures are from Inari Vachs in Sex Court the television series. The earlier posting was really D.Minion’s account of Inari in Sex Court the TV show. Clear? 10/7/02	Well this is more like our old selves. Kristal had a cam show a couple of days ago, and we had vowed to try to post video clips with some expedience. We accomplished this goal, sort of. First the camera was turned sideways, and the whole 4+ minute clip will require you to turn up the brightness on your monitor to even watch. But we have a bright side, so to speak. We also have an on-air chat with the lovely Kristal promising a better effort next time, AND we have 35 pictures with wonderful clarity. We even made them BIG, since we’ve been getting some requests along this vein. 10/3/02	Inari had a funny part in Playboy TV’s Sex Court: The Movie. That’s nice. Inari also bopped around Jamaica naked for Kristal to take pictures, and that’s very nice. We have both the story, and the 74 pictures, and that makes us nicest of all. We even have employed an unusual application of a Mother Goose rhyme, and if that doesn’t get you interested enough to check out the story, well, then go out and run up your credit cards. A few may not, this latter category being comprised of those that attended the convention, but didn’t win the drawing.
