11/21/06	We’re trying not to say too much today, in the hopes that most people might just overlook this entry entirely. True, there is a particulary beautiful woman (OK. It’s Kristal Summers.), and she may well be doing particularly interesting things. Still there must be something else you could be doing other than thinking up ways to say unnecessary things on the Message Board after watching what’s in store for today. 11/19/06	Naturally most of you will be way too busy today watching football to see any of the insights that Maverick finally decided to give us (along with the “documentary” video naturally) from his last g/g shoot. Still, since they only have “that other kind of football” over there in the U.K., though, today seemed like a good time to give those dern foreigners (which is pretty much what we call everyone that doesn’t watch football, regardless of their place of domicile) something to do. The rest of you can catch it on Monday after work. No. … That won’t work because of Monday Night Football on ESPN, and since Thursdays are now gone starting this week with new night games on the NFL Network, you’re pretty much going to have to fit it in on Tuesday or Wednesday, or just make an excuse for being late for your weekend dates. 11/15/06	Oh, goodness we have many, many pictures today. We’re off for a couple of days to attend a Digital Video Convention down in LA, and we thought we’d give you a little to look at while we’re gone. Silly us. Maybe we should have thought this through a little more carefully before we plopped down some 300-odd (and some very odd) photos to go through in Days Two and Three of D.Minion’s typically epic coverage of the shoot. Ah well, it is the rest of the Aperture shoot, and so it is Heather Vuur, and Marie Luv, and Daisy Marie … and yada, yada. Sometimes people over-complicate things in life. 11/10/06	Ah-Hah! We have found the solution to the temptation to run off at the mouth/keyboard that we sometimes see around here. If you just limit the day to one scene, and then you place it in a location that’s functionally impossible for D.Minion to get to, you actually end up with a manageable amount of text and pictures that now define Day One on the set of Aperture. Wow. … Still, we see two sort of major problems with this. First, no human being we’ve ever met can claim any sort of influence over how Michael will do anything at all associated with his movies, and second, the trouble with finding solutions to temptations seems historically to be that the pesky temptations simply mutate into something a lot more formidable. 11/9/06	Sometimes things get lost in translation. That happens. … It doesn’t often happen, however, between the U.S. and the U.K. it would seem. Other than the odd “knickers” reference and a “fag” here or there confusion, we can really communicate fairly well we’ve always thought. Granted, we’ll never understand blood sausage, and although rugby has its appeal, to us a “cricket” will always be a harmless little bug that makes pleasant noises in the evening. Still, overall, we pretty much understand each other. Consequently, our scientists ought to be able to communicate just fine as well, right? Well obviously something got mucked up in the trek across the Atlantic because although we all know that carrots are good for our eyesight, the way that we get that nifty vitamin A into our systems somewhat differs from how they appear to over in Maverick’s land. 11/7/06	Another Ninn Worx shoot is in the books, or on the HD Tapes, or whatever, and we’re back in a much more peaceful land. Our favorite crew t-shirt of this shoot read: I’m like a Superhero – with no powers or motivation. That may not excuse much, but as an explanation we found it wonderful. Speaking of not having excuses, GO OUT AND VOTE TODAY. We’ve provided a little visual humor on which you can ruminate during your travels to the polls, and we don’t even care how you vote. It is most important that you do so, however. Pictures are just very brief moments in time, and your actions today have a chance to be a little more than that. OK. 10/31/08	We have a lot of wonderful posts around here. (Right?) But we don’t always have wonderfully timed posts around here. Part of the nature of a true “reality in the porn business” site happens to be that schedules can change rapidly – and frequently. We don’t do the typical “print every press release you can find about the business and then try to sell advertising space on your site” sort of approach that almost all of the adult sites do these days. We just try to provide a meek little “Adult Diary” (remember that name you old timers?) of what happens in our little neck of the woods (or whatever body part seems pertinent that particular day). So imagine our surprise when we woke up and somebody on The Today Show mentioned that it’s Halloween. Gee. You’d think we’d notice something like that, at least you would if you didn’t understand the chaos that occasionally defines our existence. Still, we changed the plan once again because there’s really nothing more apropos for this particular day than “Dee & Demon Dog” …. You can see that, right? … Maybe we’ll use today’s plan for tomorrow, or maybe by tomorrow the plan will change again and we’ll have to postpone it to some future time, at which point we’ll undoubtedly say, “Didn’t we put that up yesterday?” Sadly, we’re occasionally like that too. 10/27/06	What do you know? We already have Day Two from Fem: L’Amour ready for your inspection. This time around we’ve got the promised pictures of Heather Vuur and Justine Joli (along with Karlie Montana in that particular scene), and then D.Minion covers the uncovered lasses Marlie Moore, Samantha Ryan, Faith Leon, and Daisy Layne. All in all it’s our usual bevy of beauties along with some “absolutely perfect” lighting. Read all about it, or just look at the pictures. Whatever. 10/25/06	Lon sent in his pictures from The Gathering and soon they will be selling for millions of dollars. If you want to understand the logic behind that, you’ll have to read today’s post. If, however, you’d prefer just seeing Justine Joli in various states of undress (all in California, ironically) doing various “things” to herself, then at least this will be much easier to understand. 10/22/06	Well, we’re a little lighter in the salary column than we were a week ago (or we will be in a month), but sometimes people get just a little too comfortable, a little too quickly, you know? Then they begin taking liberties, and don’t even understand enough to ask a simple question when we patiently explain that they are not John Stewart Mill. Ah, well …. Consequently, we begin today with “Day One” of D.Minion’s BTS coverage of Fem: L’Amour and we’ll fill in the rest soon. Now this thumbnail, in case you’re wondering, happens to picture a vintage foot massager. Honestly, it has nothing whatsoever to do with Heather Vuur, Angie Savage, Kimberly Kane, or even Kellemarie; it does, however, appear in the coverage of those uncovered on this day. With some people it’s easier to just move along than try to explain. We’ve been hitting our collective heads against the wall so much we fear harming the foundation. 10/19/06	Today we have Lon’s take (and D.Minion’s comments) on The Gathering. Sometimes you need to be careful about the adjectives that you choose, because you don’t want to give the wrong impression. Those grammar aficionados out there will quickly recognize that this first sentence has no adjectives. Make of that what you will. … Oh, and if you’re wondering where we got the unusual thumbnail for this post, you’ll have to check out the entry. Just like Sacred Sin there is a “secret code” somewhere in the story that tells you the answer to this burning question. Unlike Sacred Sin, however, you will not win a free autographed Eddie Van Halen guitar if you are the first to guess the answer. Sorry. On the upside, also unlike Sacred Sin, this “code” is just written in plain English, so it’s really not that hard to figure out. You take the bad with the good in life. 10/18/06	Sometimes you just need to take a break. For example if you’re innocently looking at coming in to work and putting together a festive look at being on the set of Fem: L’Amour and then somebody runs up before you even sit down and says they’re “not done with the 339 pictures yet, and don’t bug me about it.” And then you hear loud cursing sounds from an office close by that says “10,000 f*king words?” And then the normally unflappable computer dude happens by without* the heretofore ubiquitous cup of coffee, and says (for the very first time you’ve ever heard, ever) “I’m not sure if I can do anything with these mpeg files for Friday. … Clearly drastic and frantic solutions were in order, and the Big-Boss-Hog-Honcho’s off in meeting today. … Immediately a stunningly simple solution came to mind, involving a simply stunning Anais. … Don’t you love it when a different plan comes together? 9/17/06	There were times we thought it would never happen. There were tumultuous times; there were times of high achievement, and times of great joy. But there’s only a party left on this one, folks, and that’s a “non-press” affair. The fat lady’s warming up. D.Minion’s Day Five of Sacred Sin is in the books and we can (finally – Did we say that out loud?) close the last chapter on this one. We’re not sure what we’re doing next, but if anybody asks, tell ’em we’re going to Disneyland. 9/15/06	We’re doing a favor for a dedicated member today, but like most dedicated members, he probably doesn’t mind sharing. It seems that we’ve uncovered a treasure-trove of unseen photographs of Anais, and it seems further like he would like to see them. It’s been an emotional week, but this seems like a dandy way to kick off the weekend. Sometimes you just need to take some time and look at the pretty girls. 9/6/06	Oddly enough the important people are headed off to Los Angeles to begin anew with the task of covering shoots for Ninn Worx. This time around Lorraine Sisco’s directing (contract star) Heather Vuur in a Feature called (so far) Aperture and Michael’s directing Heather to lead the next of his Fem releases. That’s interesting, but not nearly as interesting as checking out an in abstentia tribute to “an old best friend” of D.Minion’s. 9/2/06	It’s hard to believe, but we’re actually working our way through this Sacred Sin BTS by D.Minion as we reach Day Four today. Aside from the fact that there are some unusual (and fun) music video pictures, there’s also Monica Mayhem (and of course Heather Vuur and Jassie). All in all in was a day of Gothic Chandeliers, Piles of Rubble, Musical Geniuses … oh, and fake blood. 7/31/16	As we think back, it seems hard to believe, what with our general mental state around here, but today might be the first time we’ve ever used the word “discombobulate” in an editorial. “How can that be?” you ask … or more likely “Why do we care?” … Well, you probably don’t, but you might care about seeing Brooke, Nick Manning, Voodoo with an extremely weird hair style, and an honest to goodness Shakespearean Actress on the set of Sacred Sin, Day Two with D.Minion. Actually, as it turns out, we’re headed BACK to LA to shoot EVEN MORE footage for this thing, since apparently we don’t have enough set ups to sufficiently create the pathos necessary for the audience to identify with Nick’s character, and we don’t technically have any footage of Eddie Van Halen for the music video on Catherine that Michael somehow promised publicly on the web the other day. 7/27/06	Wow. We’ve been off doing such secretive things we can’t even tell you out here what’s up for today. It does make it good to be a member, though, and that’s always nice. 7/18/06	Dee, Anais, Angel Cassidy, Wanda Curtis, and Isabella are dropping by this morning with beautiful and diabolical intent. … Now if that doesn’t sound like a wonderful opening line to a mystery novel, well, then, you can see why we don’t write mystery novels. … Still, talent issues aside, it’s nevertheless turning out to be a dandy day, what with 200 pictures of beautiful cavorting naked women and a simple way to irritate the computer nerds right at your fingertips. 7/15/06	Oh, it’s another one of those posts … you know, the kind where you need a nice large cold beverage to accompany you while you attempt to get through all that D.Minion can say when the new Ninn Worx contract player, Heather Vuur, DM’s oldest “New Best Friend,” Dee, AND her newest “New Best Friend,” Jassie, all end up on set over one long day. On the upside there is a super-secret hidden (sort of) video clip that will mark the first time anyone outside of the office has been able to see the goings on at Michael Ninn’s Sacred Sin. On the downside, this is only Day One of the Shoot … and there are four more to go. Come to think of it, maybe that’s another upside. … Yeah …. We’re going with that theory. 7/11/06	Now today 7-11 can remind you of something other than a really, really big gulp of something cool and refreshing to drink. It can also remind you of beautiful naked women, and you really have to be pretty old to remember the last time that 7-11 reminded you of beautiful naked women. Without getting too much into corporate politics and all of the “red” states in the middle of the country during the last national election, we can honestly say that it’s possible that after looking at Julia Ann and Inari Vachs today, in our (oddly) never-before-seen retrospective you may think about needing a tall glass of water, even if you don’t have a chance to get it at 7-11. Back when 7-11 had naked women in magazines behind the counter, you know, no one actually purchased water in little bottles. 7/9/06	We can say this rather literally, and if you read it carefully, you’ll understand the gist of today’s post completely. Try this: “Dee naturally Directs Dick with the unnaturally large Dick.” There you go. That covers it. And rarely do pictures as completely tell a story. In fact, we’re just going to let them do that. 7/4/06	A more politically correct group probably wouldn’t point out that the vast majority of Americans are having some sort of celebration today, pretty much at the expense of our (current) friends across the Atlantic. However, in the spirit of new-found allegiance it seemed quite appropriate that we take advantage of today and let some of our British friends help us have a good time. Of course a more politically correct group probably wouldn’t try to use logic that thin, but it’s a character flaw we’ve learned to live with.
