10/31/19	A lot of times when big, fancy, established companies name a movie, the title will either be descriptive of the story, sometimes the action, and at a minimum — for those seeking little statue awards, most often — the mood. You’d find it rare to run across the show where the title sort of fits a little bit of any of those things, but mostly lacks even a tangential relationship. You might not think your typical site in this world would spend much time thinking about questions like that, but honestly, you can only spend so much time trying to distinguish women by their ears or their nipples before your mind starts wandering off onto anything else — on the planet. Seriously, when you make your living in an industry where massive changes in physical appearance may be the norm, rather than the exception, you’d be surprised at what can suddenly catch your interest. Top Ten Millennial Business Facts

Labor Day seemed like an excellent time to do a quick Top Ten list about Millennial Business ideas. This being the generation of a lifeline in 140-character increments, after all, too many words could confuse them and make them sad. For a group that grew up where Everyone Gets a Trophy, of course, that represents a major faux pas. Of course bringing in a foreign phrase that some people might not understand could be some equally offensive transgression too, so we should probably just move along.

For the record, the current Millennial Circle has not provided the “conceptual quality” of photographs we prefer around here, so we grabbed some clothed on-the-set shots that D.Minion took, interestingly on our very first set dominated by Millennials — although nobody used that term back then. So enjoy a few snippets of House of Perez while you consider Millennial Business concepts. (And please forgive us for already using — up to the beginning of this parenthetical insight — 931 characters. EEEEK! … Oh, the humanity! … )

6/18/18	You can argue about the morality in adult movies. You can argue about inherent misogyny, or an industry preying on youth with hundred dollar bills as talons. You can even argue that the genre as a whole does a poor job even as educational value because it promulgates vastly unrealistic expectations in everything from “mating rituals” — so to speak — to body image. … Of course you can argue against all of those things too. … What you cannot argue, however, would be that the individuals in these movies do not share many of the same basic human characteristics as the rest of us. Of course anyone following the adult business very closely also knows that the publication suffered its third bankruptcy filing a couple of months ago — interestingly one for each owner now. Well, the auction takes place this coming week, and while we remain hopeful that good things will transpire, we need to be realistic too. Honestly, we were in court last time, and we have seen slasher movies a lot less bloody than that showing by the current leadership. You have to believe creative can coexist with business, though, otherwise you’d have to pick one or the other, and that would be boring.
