Wow. For the first time in a really long time a major religious celebration falls on Thanksgiving. Of course the fact that we had to call a friend in order to get the spelling correct for “Chanukah” might indicate that some of us failed the religious fervor standard this week. On the other hand, we do understand that this means at least a good percentage of the Brits will be celebrating with us today, and for some reason they don’t usually do that on Thanksgiving. Weird. … We have our own special party on tap, though, with Kylie, Kaylan, and Cytherea — and we promise you will not have to wait until 2165 to enjoy them again. Acceding to the wishes of a slight, but occasionally vocal, minority of paid members, D.Minion and her also slight, but pretty much always vocal, “chickadees” have decreed that we need make effort to publish “smaller” updates on occasion. Eight times as many people will get married today as one could normally expect, simply because of the whole 11-12-13 thing. This would make it easier to remember one’s anniversary, probably, but considering the divorce rate these dates, perhaps a countdown symmetry would seem more appropriate. Interestingly enough, no matter which way we count around here, we still come up with a bevy of sexually adventurous women. If we torment a member of the Risque Crew ourselves, that would be just fine, naturally, but we cannot have circumstances beyond our control make poor Uncle Gibby weep. On the off chance that there might one or two of you out there that do not care one whit that the Mighty Packers lost at home to the arch-rival Bears last night, well, you may find an entirely different kind of solace in our mood-brightening efforts today.
