We basically go from periods of controlled (sort of) chaos to those of sheer panic and bedlam — at least with a happy emphasis on the “bed” part of the equation. Consequently the “story lines” of the Risqué Members Area can most closely resemble perhaps an Escher creation, should one ever try to plot it out visually. While we would discourage that sort of plan in the interests of sanity, the pandemonium can lead to some wonderful things in our remastering journey. | 8/9/21 |  Because of the way we tend to weave all the different parts of the Risqué Commune together, sometimes when we do the remastering of original videos to modern standards tasks it can get complicated. A nice little illustrated article on one site may suddenly explode into a corresponding — yet completely separate — exposé on another. It would not be unheard of to have 3-4 “sites” all tied together under one video and photographic theme, actually. When this happens, and we have fallen down the rabbit hole, we try to poke our heads out long enough to realize that (in this case) we have uncovered a few minor miscalculations for Cytherea — and not some invisible cat. | 8/7/21 |  It used to be easier to name a movie back before everyone apparently started looking for ways to be offended, scandalized, or even witnesses to purported evil. Believe it or not, the concept of innocent phrases used to exist. You could say something without worrying that it could suffer totally unwarranted misinterpretation at some future point. Of course in those day we would know people wanted to talk to us because their phone number would appear on a little digital reader people carried around called a pager, too. So there’s that. Even Jenna Jameson used to be rather more “innocent” in those times. You have to take it in the context of being a professional performer who works naked, but innocent can mean different things in different contexts too. Do you think anyone remembers context? After careful consideration (and some really annoying dancing) we have decided that more people should write songs about ice cream. Talking to young people can be fun. One can respond to a surprising number of quizzical expressions with the simple statement, “Well, I wasn’t always this old.” … Have you ever watched a movie, or heard a news report, or even seen a simple photograph and thought to yourself, “There is no way on earth I was ever, ever that dumb?” … Well, we haven’t either, and even if we had, we couldn’t admit it because some Millennial might get their little feelings hurt. 
We spend our lives dealing with the impact of time. We have to wait too long for it to pass. It passes too quickly. We can’t remember enough of the details we need to. We can’t forget nearly as much as we’d like. Bottom line: Time can be a real Bitch. 
Michael Raven chose Paradise Lost to serve as an inspiration for an adult movie. Ironically, that ended up being an apt description of our path through the coverage of it — well, the “lost” part, not the every decision being fraught with the peril of eternal damnation part. All in all, despite losing a key author along the way, we have upheld the Risqué Tradition of insight with a healthy dose of humor along the way. For the record, we have no idea how long it took Mr. Milton to write the original manuscript, but we feel fairly confident that it was faster than the period of time that it took to finish our coverage of Mr. Raven’s movie.
