6/29/06	We have a curiously brief report on Erotica LA today, possibly having something to do with D.Minion’s sudden (and almost unexplained) incapacity. Gee. We just can’t figure out what happened. But there are 60 pictures here, and some video clips of items seen at the show that almost uniformly have no practical application. Come to think of it, that pretty much defines our goal in life. 6/25/06	LA Erotica was actually a bit wackier this year than it has been historically, and we’re blaming D.Minion. That seems fair since she’s been hanging out with Lorraine Sisco altogether too much and has plastered us with 310 pictures, a secret mpeg, and 3000+ words covering the bizarre second day of Lorraine’s The Catalyst. These two women should quit hanging out so much together, and so we’ve decided just to tie DM to a chair in the office, or maybe to one at her house so she could commune with her cat. We’re definitely breaking her keyboard, so enjoy these Mega-Epics while you can. Some day we’ll look back on this and laugh … She swears. 6/20/06	It’s a bit of nostalgia, with stories of a young Devinn Lane, and it’s a bit of awe, as we look at all the Wicked Pictures can do with a DVD release, and it’s more than a bit of the shamelessness that makes us loveable that we’re offering today. Well, maybe we’re not loveable, per se, but that’s really the only word we could think of on the spur of the moment, and we didn’t want to delay you any further from D.Minion’s review of Wicked’s Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre. 6/19/06	Well don’t everyone fall off of their chairs or anything, but we’re back again. The new system seems to be working remarkably well (although we’ll almost certainly regret saying that). We’re going with just a typical little D.Minion story today, this being her “pre-production observations” of Sacred Sin. We looked at the entire story in Word and learned, much to our dismay, that the entire discourse covers some 10,027 words. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, our immediate suggestion was to just give y’all a dozen pictures and let you keep the change. D.Minion’s look was not one of adoration at this suggestion, however. So we’re breaking it up, and we promise to get through it all – if for no other reason than everyone here is pretty much afraid of D.Minion. Women in their 40’s get a little scary you know … . 6/18/06	This isn’t so much a “let’s see if this works” kind of thing as it is a “OK. Fine. We’ve been promising you we’d do this since the Dark Ages (translation: Before Sacred Sin), so now we’re finally doing it.” sort of thing. That said, we still ended up with a rather intimate portrayal of a Fine English Lass named Faye, courtesy of our friend Maverick. Granted, Mav sometimes forgets to focus, and he never once looked into the background of the shot, but considering what Faye was doing and what she was (or was not) wearing, we can kind of understand the scattered approach. For an evolved amateur, Maverick seems to be catching on just fine. He even included a couple of variations on a video theme that we’re just going to stop talking about now, and for the record, we’re just going to assume he’s not the “P” in “POV” … . 6/17/09	Experimentations and Confirmations continue as we struggle desperately to find something to serve the dual purpose of being interesting for you, and giving us a chance to stretch the limits of our server capabilities. The first video footage of Michael Ninn’s big movie for 2007 and the first explicit images of New Ninn Contract Star Heather Vuur seemed like they might suffice. 6/17/06	Those of you that have been members for awhile will recognize the “Gee, we tried to automate the mechanics here, and we’re just sufficiently weird in the way we approach the web that even really smart web people can’t figure out how to fit us into any sort of automatic database system.” Ah, well. Quite honestly this isn’t the first area in life where we’ve continued to learn that we just don’t fit in all that well. … So we’re back to the old “do it by hand” method, and we’ve got to run through the variety of different types of posts that we do in order to be sure everything’s back to normal — well, normal to us. You can start today to see if things Clique for you as they have for many people (judging from sales of the title), and we’ll move along to the next “hand-crafted” category. You know, if you find yourself in this sort of situation in your own lives, you might just start considering yourself an “artisan” like we’ve decided to do; it beats the heck out of the “Gawd, I’m a dinosaur.” sort of philosophy. Well this doesn’t happen very often. Michael’s once again completely lost his mind and so we’re all going to be in Los Angeles for a week and a half … MORE. We’re sorry; and we promise to come back to our regular posting ways in June, but it doesn’t look good for the rest of this month. A funny thing happened on the way to changing careers … the old career skills didn’t seem to go away and hide, and now all of the sudden we find ourselves very much back in the mix, and oddly feeling pretty much OK about it. Now today is just the day when we show off Charlie Laine, Jassie, and Tanya James, and then basically just tease with one of those thinly veiled “more to come” comments, but sometimes that’s just how life is. We were going to post D.Minion’s story from Day Two on the set of The Catalyst and then we noticed that there are more than 300 pictures and like 5,000+ words. Then we decided that this was a really bad idea. It would be much better, we reasoned, to do this post in honor of the DVD being released – and not just because that means we can stall until late June either. No way. We didn’t want to get out of here on this sunny Saturday afternoon and go to the beach or anything. Nope. That had nothing to do with us decided to post D.Minion’s much more reasonable report on the 2006 XRCO Awards. It’s just that life is full of oddities sometimes (and not even all of them work here). 3/26/06	It depends on how you look at today’s first Ninn Worx Weekend in too long a time. It could be a deep and philosophical commentary on legal trends spanning the globe, particularly as those issues pertain to technology. Or it could be a thinly-veiled excuse to look at Anais, Georgia Adair, Angel Cassidy, Mia Smiles, and a handful of their female porn friends doing … well, what female porn friends do. Consider it Unbridled – in various fashion, and then just enjoy it. That’s what we’d do. Who cares about lawyers anyway? 3/24/06	We figured we’d ease on into the weekend with a little bit of Dee on her birthday … well, and then in her birthday suit. Then we figured we’d add in Juli Ashton, and a beautiful blonde, and we figured it would be a nice simple contrast to the D.Minon Epics of late. Sometimes it can be good to just enjoy the pretty girls, even if they have reached to ripe old age of 28. (And yes, some of us do in fact have shirts older than that. So what?) 3/19/06	You know how sometimes you get these “technological advances” that turn out not to be so helpful? Well, for some inexplicable reason we looked up the “Word Count” in D.Minion’s article On the Set of Fem: Diva and Lost Angels: Olivia Del Rio before we started to compile it for you members. This was not a smart thing to do. We have no idea what possessed us. All we accomplished was scaring ourselves to death, and then we still had to do the work anyway. If we hadn’t, you see, you’d have missed the 245 pictures of Anais, Dee, Olivia, and even Kristal Summers (albeit in a “crew” capacity). On the other hand you would have missed the pictures of horses, cows, old farm equipment, and a couple of Port O’ Potties too, so you can look at this two ways at least. Still, the beautiful women (and Eric Masterson, Carol) probably make up for it. At the very least you’ll learn that city-people are funny. 3/17/06	You’re supposed to wear green today. Or maybe you’re supposed to wear orange, it’s just that most people think you’re supposed to wear green. Like most things in life, it all gets really complicated if you look at it too closely. That’s why we chose blue. Actually we chose Wendy Divine in (and out of) blue. And if you think about it logically, you’re probably going to want to pinch Wendy pretty much whatever she’s wearing (or not); on a good day, she might let you too. Oh, and there’s a special little bonus section that fans of Georgia Adair, Dee, and Olivia Del Rio may well enjoy as well. Come to think of it, there’s no reason to be blue today at all. Hmm. 3/11/06	Well, a lot of things have happened to the Risqué clients over the years, but oddly enough (particularly considering their vocation) this is the first time we can remember that one of them got pregnant. We’ve had a few marriages over the years, but this will be the first offspring – at least that we know about. Now that doesn’t really have anything to do with the Night Calls post today, but we did want to publicly congratulate Juli Ashton, and wish her the best. Soon Juli will have her own Mini-Me … We hope the world is ready. 4/30/05	We counted 17 separate references to old television theme songs in D.Minion’s story of Carol’s visit to Southern California. We’d actually worry about our sanity, but we’re much too crazy for this kind of deep introspection. Fortunately, the 125 photos from Michael Ninn (who didn’t even meet Carol, by the way) can make up for a lot of blatent silliness. 4/29/05	We get to visit with a bunch of old friends today, and D.Minion’s got 180 pictures and some 3,000-odd words to prove it. She was on the set of The Devinn Lane Show, Part 3: Attack of the Divas a couple of years back, and she got to spend some time with Julia Ann, Dee, Lola and Devinn. (D.Minion should pay us for this job.) By the way, we should state for the record here that, although we haven’t always agreed with her “career” decisions, Devinn Lane has always been beautiful, innovative, daring, and extremely motivated. In short, Devinn Lane is a very good director. She also happens to be wearing one of my favortie shirts during this shoot. “I can only be nice to one person a day. Today is not your day. 4/25/05	All of us at the office blame Carol for the lateness of the latest Ninn Worx Weekend. Michael didn’t get to meet Carol, since she “allegedly” spent her time in Southern California on the beach and eating home-cooked meals, and not on the Sybian. Both Carol and Michael are very polite people. … So we don’t have any pictures or either Carol or Michael on the Sybian, but we do have some really dandy images that will hopefully distract you from that point. 4/20/05	Pretty much every day, everyone pretty much has to do something. So today we pretty much figured we’d just spend some time looking at Wanda Curtis. All in all, in our experience, this turns out to be pretty much of a fun thing to do, and so we’re encouraging you to do it too. I don’t know if any of you ever had the opportunity to see Wanda in person, but she looks like a drawing or something. When artists draw their idealized visions of the perfect female form, they generally look like Wanda, actually. If Barbie Dolls had a human incarnation, they would look like Wanda too. 4/17/05	… [DMinion wrote this. It’s not my fault.] “From Nightingale poop to human foreskin.” According to a TV show I just watched, these are some of the things people put on their faces to keep them looking young and beautiful. Anais looks beautiful without any of these, uh, interesting concoctions. (I should know. I’ve seen her without makeup and she’s stunning. It just isn’t fair.) 4/15/05	In the movie business, a “side” is a small part of the script that the director intends to record on a particular day. Generally, when the “players” show up in their really groovy (or at least ego-gratifying) trailer room, some nameless person will have placed the sides in the room — most often directly upon the only horizontal seating area in said ego-gratifying room. The point, here, being that sometimes things don’t always turn out the way they “historically” should. In our ongoing efforts to convince Juli to release some of her “owned, albeit heretofore hidden,” footage of Essentially Inari, we’re providing a peek into the past lives of, not only Inari Vachs, but Dee, Kristal Summers, a very happily endowed man, a couple of genuinely nice women from Juli’s past, and even Juli herself. We call it “Old Irony-Sides” … but we’re like that. We would also like to point out that using words like “albeit” and “heretofore” should be at least a misdemeanor in any civilized country. 4/10/05	OK. Technically it may be a little late for a Ninn Worx Weekend, but, also technically, it’s still the weekend for three more minutes in LA as we’re posting this. 4/8/05	Well we’re still plowing through Tax Hell, which wouldn’t be as bad if you didn’t have to do it every year, we’re thinking. And as it turns out, although it really, really sucks to move with a broken leg right before Christmas, it’s even worse if you didn’t think about putting all of the various tax document areas from the office and warehouse in one box so you could find it easily when you needed it. (I don’t know why they were always in various places; that was not my job.) So we decided to make up for it with a Night Calls post from Juli and Tiffany’s February Show this year. This one turned out to be extra long, as it included the soon to be more famous Justine, along with a side trip to a Dee dance gig. We decided, “What the heck, let’s put a bunch of exclusive pictures of Anais up too. What, you want to spend more time on the Quicken Category and Transfer List?” Too many numbers in your life make you talk to yourself, you know. 4/2/05	For some reason we’re very concerned about The Learning Channel (and yesterday was April Fool’s Day). We don’t really know how to explain it better than that, other than point out that Bob Seger will be happy, and we do have the benefit of 80 (plus) pictures of Dee thinking of … probably anything but The Learning Channel.
