| 9/30/22 | Whether it was because of cheap film, retail bags designed to “identify” (shame) adult movie customers at video stores, or simply because the Brits call something “blue” when they find it offensive or in bad taste, some of us old-timers still remember all adult productions being called blue movies. Of course we should distinguish between all movies with naked adults frolicking explicitly — and technically licking explicitly — and this one particular show with the title of Blue Erotica. For the record, Justine Joli does an outstanding job at helping distinguish it. | 9/26/22 | For the most part, breakups tend to be sad at best and painful at worst. As we go through the process of kissing all those frogs in search of our soulmate royalty, the “moving along” part can be among the most uncomfortable aspects of romance. How we respond when the wounds are still fresh could offer a clue as to the type of people we are — which tends to be angry, petty, and bitter, truth be told. Missy Martinez does offer some advice via The Muse today, though. If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you pay for. … And who said romance is dead? | 9/23/22 | Now that we are officially into fall we can begin to enjoy the trees turning glorious colors of scarlet and yellow, the air getting cool and crisp as we venture out, and the sounds of raking leaves filling our peaceful neighborhoods. Except if you live in Southern California which has a measly two season, those being Wow the Weather is Great Here, and for a couple of months out of the year, I Do Not Remember It Being This Hot Before. Of course it takes a certain mentality to truly submerse oneself into the Los Angeles culture, sort of those people that really, really love feet. Not to say that LA overflows with foot fetishists or anything, but simple math would indicate there must be a lot of them. LA has a lot of everything — except, y’know, fall colors and crisp evening air. | 9/21/22 | As a general rule, doing things over again tends to run along a scale from unpleasant to truly sucks. Exceptions to the rules make our lives really fun, however. (If you think most women look like porn stars naked, you have not seen very many naked women — certainly not under bright lights.) Every so often in this massive remastering — because Adobe gave up on Flash Video, not that we’re bitter or anything — project, we run across something truly enjoyable. Today, for example, we have discovered the very first video ever put on 247AdultStars, way back in 2007. Who knew they even had video 15 years ago? More importantly, who knew we would still have source files that old from an AEE convention? Sometimes we worry about us. We really do. | 9/17/22 | As D.Minion ended her Born A Rebel coverage, she lamented the physical distance that circumstances have put between her and one of her favorite people in the world, Juli Ashton. Indeed all of us who were around then understand what a gift it was to spend the many years together that we had with Juli (and those of us who were not around are likely tired of hearing about how great she was/is). One does not find many happy souls in life, and thus one should always remember them fondly. … Then we remembered “Gift of Juli” in the queue, so now we can share with everyone. | 9/16/22 | Even the most scary and rebellious of us will eventually get older and decide that prudence may dictate a more mental approach to a situation. (Have you seen Mike Tyson lately?) … Consequently, even if, say, you happen to have been Born A Rebel, that too will come to an end (in this case, as it were). We see no reason to bemoan the passage of time, however, and we have some moments to look forward to for our younger friends out there. First, you will always remember where you were the first time you realized that the songs you heard at prom have now fallen into the “oldies” category. Second, you will be amazed at various points in your life as you look back at your earlier years and think, “Wow. I’m surprised I lived through that.” [STAR TAGS: Syvette Video, Juli Ashton] |

| 9/5/22 | If we celebrate Labor Day by not laboring, then why do we not apply the same consideration to a Work Day? Would we really rather the meat companies just throw away all the extra parts instead of milling them nicely and placing them into yummy hot dogs? Who was the first person to discover deep fried ice cream, and how drunk were they really at the time? … We answer none of these lofty questions as The Muse debuts today, but they do seem worth considering after the lesbian fun. Actually, come to think of it, why does English mustard arrive very spicy while American mustard tastes wholeheartedly bland in comparison. Basic technical knowledge of any situation wherein one endeavors to record a visual image — whether still or moving, actually — will lead to an understanding that one of the core principles revolves around controlling the amount of light that the lens on the camera allows through. In our case,
Regardless of how one feels about the strengths, weaknesses, veracity, or outright stupidity of the last administration in the White House, only a true troglodyte could deny the overall truth the Fox News vs. Everybody Else conflict achieved. “In Your Face” has become the norm as a way of communication. Not being social scientists here, we will avoid considering anything at all even slightly deeper than that superficial acknowledgment, but rather have a slightly more fun way to consider
School has started again most everywhere, and after the first week or so we can be certain of one thing absolutely. Whether masks, no masks, happy parents, angry parents, governors stupid or smart, you put young people together for a short amount of time, and Love Letters will begin to flow. Passed amongst friends, slipped into lockers, slid under dorm room doors, whatever, biological imperative trumps — pardon the expression — even heated politics. So we decided to relaunch our full movie Love Letters in honor of the joy of being college students. It was probably in honor of Kristal Summers too, honestly. Just by looking at the little thumbnail here you can see why Kristal has already received many, many love letters in her young life. Considering the weekend, here, we decided to put up an entire movie that celebrates good old American values. … OK. So not everyone considers what we do to have “value” certainly, but some people do. And 74 million people voted for a complete narcissist with a God Complex in the last national election, so we really cannot be bothered by people with very narrow minds. Regardless of the doubters, today we represent
We wrap up a complete movie today, this time with the unique ability to verify that we have in fact put our
If you had a holiday, say Christmas, where you celebrated by not doing any Christmas things — no caroling, no decorating, no eggnog or roast beast, no presents, and certainly no church — well, that might seem a little odd. Have a 4th of July without any fireworks? Good grief, what fresh hell is this? … Yet every year on this first Monday of September we all
Planning has been all but impossible as anyone — well, basically alive and old enough to go outside on their own — can tell you. Back in July we were absolutely certain we’d be trekking to Las Vegas in January for the big AVN convention (the last one?). Then, gosh, this seems pretty hard to explain without getting stuck in the political muck of who’s doing or not doing what that made sailing smoothly into herd immunity a virtual certainty. So without going there, we can admit that we have found ourselves back in the world of virtual meetings, if that tells you anything. So we’re still thinking about the AEE in January, but we’re also thinking about not ending up infected by unwashed masses in an unnaturally cramped room too. (Hey, there’s a lot of drool at a porn convention.) So while we continue to think and see what happens, we thought we would revisit via remaster a particularly memorable trip from a few years ago. Gibby might be ok today, well above the fracas, but Shayla would have to hold her breath for like 12 hours straight. That sounds difficult. [STAR TAGS: Shayla LaVeaux, AEE 2014 Video]
We all enjoy holidays, if not for their underlying reason for existence so much as the fact that most of us do not have to work, even though we still get paid. There are other more personal dates in a year, though, that fall into the
Not to make fun of a genius or anything but trying to make parting less painful by calling it “sweet sorrow” is like trying to ease the impact of amputation by calling it weight loss. Seriously, when you really enjoy something, do you ever really want it to end? Have you ever in your life thought, “Well, by golly, that certainly constitutes enough Dee for the moment?” … Yeah, well neither have any of us and yet
After careful consideration, the Offices of the Risqué Commune have reached a unanimous decision that we should all become Jewish. Now this has nothing whatsoever to do with religion, or God, or even a preference for unleavened bread. In fact, we do not even know if any of the people from today’s Macbeth episode are Jewish. Nope. It has nothing to do with any of that. … You see, we just found out that Rosh Hashanah starts tonight, which — as we also found out — means that Jewish people are celebrating a New Year already. Since 2020 has colossally sucked on so many levels we cannot begin to enumerate them, we simply decided to convert. So that’s all there is to it. Right? (Oh! For the record, we do still plan on eating cheeseburgers with bacon. One can only take these deeply personal convictions so far, after all.) [STAR TAGS: Abby Brooks Video, Cassidy Morgan Video]
The title alone should give you a hint as to our direction today. We called this
What is the question? To read or not to read, that is the question. Right? Because you already “be” all that you can be in this America. Right? Although you cannot roller skate in a buffalo herd any more successfully now than you could when the song came out in 1966, even though the Army was already being all it could be back then. … It does get confusing, we realize, so we shall provide a hint: When one has Holly Hollywood on tap, performing in a profession she truly loved, well, the reading part may not be all that important. We’re going to go try and go
If you dig up a buried treasure, does it cease being treasure and become something mundane like really expensive cool stuff or some such? If you have really expensive cool stuff, actually, why would you bury it in the first place? How many of us carry around a spare shovel just in case we might need it during the day? And if you must bury your treasure, why does everyone always put a big ol’ “X” on the map so that everyone knows where the really expensive cool stuff can be found? If you put like a dachshund emoji or something, people might think you odd, but they probably would not be digging for all your valuables. … These are the sorts of thoughts that consume us here at Risqué, y’know while
If you have ever had to read Stream of Consciousness and then try to explain its brilliance to someone, then you might have some understanding of what work orders before a long weekend can look like around here. If you happen to be one of those people who looks at modern art and cannot for the life of you figure out how one bunch of squiggly lines, or red squares, yellow dots, and blue triangles displays greater talent and keen insight into the human condition than any other, well, you should apply for a job here. You’ll fit right in.
One might think of many things when mountain hillbillies come to mind. Depending upon your age, the innocent genuine laughter inspired by Jeff Foxworthy’s most famous routine could show up in your memory, or possibly the distinctively darker interpretation from Deliverance. Taken through the eyes (and, y’know, other parts) of Bonny and Clide today, though, you get neither creepy nor innocent, truth be told. Fun you get in orgy volumes, however, along with
When it comes right down to it, women simply act much differently in a room where there are no men. Of course men have never been able to observe this, because they’d need to be in that room, which of course defeats the whole point. As a rule, men defeat a lot of points in life (and government) it seems, so maybe we should simply do what we usually do and forgive them (except in government). We could also offer a bit of a fly-on-the-wall
Granted, because of our leader’s given name, we do not generally approach Friday the 13th with the same trepidation as many people, but his name won’t save everyone from certain doom, obviously, so we decided to run a bunch of
A few select companies in the industry develop a reputation for big, elaborate, ambitious, and expensive productions. The business also changed mightily as it moved from where consumers purchased physical copies of individual titles one at a time to the whole
You can get into some fairly esoteric debates in life, even in this life with its general focus on the more prurient aspects of the human existence. Then again, it would be difficult to argue that any aspect of basic humanity would be more universal that the biology behind the desire to propagate the species. Some people simply get way, way more bent out of shape from those discussions than others.
