9/22/16	The first day of a new season in Southern California honestly feels pretty much the same no matter which new part of the year we happen to be entering. Sometimes people new to SoCal might feel like they really miss the actual “seasons” of most of the country. 9/17/16	Preparation takes an inordinate amount of time, have you ever noticed? 9/10/16	Uncle Gibby rolls into the convention coverage proper now, even as we all realize that the plethora of “Packers must Win the Super Bowl This Year” parties roll into all of Wisconsin this weekend. 9/8/16	Contractual Obligations with D.Minion require us to provide alternate entertainment options for the (perhaps mythical) people that do not focus completely on the National Football League. Sadly, these contracts do not compensate us madly as do typical NFL deals, but they do keep the Chickadees from whining at us, so that’s a plus. Honestly, this year could prove a useful diversion, truth be told. “Our” team goes up against the reigning league MVP heading a team with six-months’ worth of pent-up frustration, and we lead with a fellow from a college known for academics who a couple of years ago had a big game against Purdue. 9/5/16	Right after the annual Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas there are hundreds of “news” posts about the event. We would hate for people to miss our truly unique and wonderful coverage, after all, so we generally wait until the fall — just in time to start getting people excited for next January. Now we will admit that the people who enjoy our particular slant tend to like it a lot and think we’re great, while the people that just don’t get it probably think, “Those Risqué People are crazy.” … Oddly enough, both camps would be correct. 9/2/16	Should you decide to manage a web site at any point in your life, you will be faced with two primary schools of thought regarding updates. Some make the argument that many, smaller, “posts” make for a better user experience, because people tend to be busy, so they do not really have time to get through a long update before they have to leave to do something weird, like have a regular life. Others feel that fewer, although lengthier, additions to the site fit busy schedules better because people do not have time to log in every day, and if you do a lot of small updates they may miss something in their absence. If you have been a member of any of the Risqué Communes sites, you know that we basically use both strategies, basically at random. Our philosophy, you see, reasons that if you have updates of any size which feature Inari Vachs, Kristal Summers, and Stephanie Swift, people will figure it out. 9/7/15	On a day when 90% of the country enjoys a holiday, those at either end of the professional spectrum tend to be at work. Executives sneak into the office for a few hours, prepared to at least enjoy the peace and quiet, while those with the least seniority do whatever they usually do for a living and pine for a time when they too get to demand family time when most regular people get it. This latter group should be careful what they wish for, at the very least setting their sights somewhere below the Executive Level, but then people rarely exhibit such foresight, so they will eventually find out for themselves. For our “executive part” we found it necessary to correct some underling failures of late, but we don’t mind too much. First of all, it meant dealing with Dee again, and that always makes for a pleasant day, and, most importantly, when we come into work tomorrow, we will still be the boss at the meeting. 9/2/15	When your inspirational leader goes walk-about for the summer, it can become a bit bizarre around the office. Considering how wacky this environment tends to be even under ideal circumstances, this can lead to some rather unanticipated events. 9/28/14	Cytherea has a birthday this weekend, and consequently we must celebrate in an appropriate fashion. Of course having been out with Cytherea on multiple occasions over the years, we can say that “appropriate fashion” leaves a lot of leeway for us. 9/17/14	Consider the sobriquet. While that was to be the original plan today, courtesy toward friends closed off that avenue of inspection. 9/12/14	According to a psychology text book a ChickaDee brought into the office today, “Some form of hunger, love, hate, fear, hope or ambition gives rise to every human emotion and every human thought.” … While we hate to disagree with any sacred tomes used in our institutions of higher education, this cannot be correct. Clearly they have forgotten sleepy as an attribute. We have other thoughts today too, substantially enhanced by the application of naked women to the arguments.
