Doing the “homage” picture has a long history in the adult movie business, although admittedly with very different levels of success. Everyone you see in the waiting room looks exactly like you do, and most of them have better resumés to make matters worse. A couple of them might even be related to someone on the production staff or have worked with the director before on some other project. Apparently they scheduled a football game today in order to celebrate Rihanna’s return to the stage after a seven-year absence. Overall, that seems like a very nice thing to do, all things considered. Maybe the NFL has begun to develop a heart, after all. Folks were so excited that they even paid upward of $7 million just to air a 30-second spot during the Rihanna event. They have even set it up so that they will play 90 minutes in a pre-concert phase, and then conclude with another 90 minutes as a celebration of her greatness… Wow.
