7/30/04	Well we’ve finally managed to catch up with the calendar around here, having just decided to postpone future attempts at “automated” web posts. Maybe we’re just too old fashioned around here, so we need to stick with old-fashioned methods. You can read about a whole bunch of new fashion, though, and peek in on Anais and Juli Ashton, at the 2004Night of the Stars event that we attended this week. Watching Juli read scripted dialogue with Seymore Butts was actually a bit surreal, as was watching the winners accepting their awards. When I first started in this business some 14 years ago, the winners (basically company owners and other industry hot-shots) all looked like Charleton Heston. 7/24/04	We promised Kristal and Devinn that we’d do what we could to continue to promote their upcoming “appearance” at Hedonism III in Jamaica this December. Of course we’ve also promised Juli Ashton that we’d do the same thing for her excursion to Jamaica this October, so it may get confusing along the way. Basically, you should just move in to Hedonism III for the final quarter of 2004, and then you’ll be sure to see everything. 7/21/04	Night Calls was going old-school this time around, as Ron Jeremy and Christy Canyon joined Juli and Tiffany on the famous red couch. There was potentially a little too much talk about auto-fellatio, perhaps, but any time you get a chance to see Christy’s breasts, it pretty much makes up for anything. 7/17/04	As Anais has just begun her second year under contract with Ninn Worx, we thought it might be interesting to go back and dig up D.Minion’s previously unpublished account of Anais’ first day on the job. One of the truly amazing things about this profession has to be watching the rapid, and often breathtaking, transformations that women in this business undergo. Now when you start with all the raw materials that Anais did, even the beginnings were impressive. 7/14/04	A couple of days ago Dee very sweetly pointed out that her “Index to KSEX” seemed to be a little bit behind the times. We rather cavalierly suggested that this was perfectly OK, as we were sure that no one really looked at it anyway. For the record, we should note here that “cavalierly” was not precisely the manner in which Dee preferred to receive a response in this situation. Who knew? After assuring her that we did indeed wish to continue to see her naked on a regular basis, we offered to put up D.Minion’s account of Dee’s most recent KSEX adventure — with Kristal, no less — this week. Then we tried to explain that if we put up all the dates for which DM has KSEX stories, but that aren’t posted yet, people would be more easily able to see how far we fall behind sometimes. 7/1/04	Sometimes the XXX business can be an odd place. (We’ll assume that doesn’t come as a big surprise, come to think of it.) So after six years in the business, Dee finally had a chance to do a scene with Sean Michaels, and D.Minion was there to document. 8/30/03	You know, occasionally our old buddy Bert comes up with some great ideas. His poetic review of Ninn Worx’ Fem: Diva inspired this week’s “Weekend” — displacing D.Minion’s “favorite” Olivia Del Rio, in fact. We’re pretty sure Bert can make this up to DM with copious beers at the Members’ Party in a couple of weeks, and we’re also pretty sure the rest of the members will thank Bert. Look at it this way: You’ll get to see Olivia eventually, and Anais is truly a feast for the eyes (and possibly some other stuff). 8/23/03	We have sort of a Ninn Worx Weekend today, as we met our topic of conversation on a Ninn Worx set, but these are not technically Ninn Worx pictures. Still, we’re not above using the thinest of excuses to show off a new pretty naked girl (who became Cytherea), and we’ve got an exceptional one today. 8/22/03	Most of you probably know that Juli Ashton doesn’t really fit the typical “Porno Girl” mold; Juli’s actually very bright (as are several other performers as a matter of fact), and so when she called in the other day with a quote that she’d read and wanted to share with us, we listened. If you’ve been a member for very long, you know that we tend to be fairly optimistic around here, and pretty much live with the philosophy of “playing the cards you’re dealt.” Juli’s quote, however, says that ever-so-much more eloquently: “Of all the things that might have happened, only one of them actually did.” Cool, huh? 8/19/03	Honesty would actually prevent us from claiming that ALL of the Risqué clients over the years have turned out to be far along on the “human sanity” scale, but, hey, retrospect is for whiners anyway. So on a day when we received a phone call to tell us of the supposed lengthy incarceration ahead for one former client, we happen upon a little story from May of 2001 that focuses on a different one. However, while we’ll confess to not always picking the most rational, or even ethical, of clients EVERY time, we can say one thing with complete candor: Some may turn out to be wacky, but darned if they aren’t all beautiful. We’re glad we ran across this, and we hope you enjoy it too. It’s a wonder we can find anything at all around here sometimes. Then again, I lose my shoes at least once a day. 8/16/03	We’re giving D.Minion a time to vent today, as she recounts her supreme sense of violation by the recent burglary of our humble offices. 6/30/03	We’re taking a moment to publicly apologize to SteveD today. We’re sorry we ever had the unkind attitude that called your picture taking skills into question. We’re very sorry, in fact, and we’ll never do it again. Today we have the “Mini-Minion” report on Erotica LA, and Mav managed to include 135 photographs to illustrate it. Some were in focus. Some even had people in them. However, ALL of them were horizontal. We’ve never seen anything like it. It’s amazing. So, SteveD, we’re sorry. We’ll never cast aspersions on your photograhic integrity again … probably … we think … possibly. (Hey, it could happen.) 6/20/03	We interrupt the regularly scheduled Ninn Worx Weekend to tell you that the truly unthinkable has in fact occurred. It was raining in Los Angeles in late June. Guess who’s still in town … Point in fact, and in penance probably, our buddy Maverick’s gone and given us all another gift, though. The inspiration went as follows: We returned home from a convivial mid-day meal with the incomparable Michael Ninn. Fascinating conversation flowed as Michael and Maverick dazzled each other with the depths of their personal philosophies. They talked of Kafka and Camus, of Aristotle and Aerosmith. (It was truly strange.) Then we pulled into the driveway and noticed we had a guest at our home. When we told Mav that this was Kristal Summers’ new car, he caught his breath, blushed, and promptly walked into the vehicle we had just parked. Ah, love … Then he made this for y’all. 6/18/03	News Flash!! D.Minion has noticed that Night Calls can be a little surreal. 6/17/03	Maverick’s been a busy little beaver, well, hampster, during his visit here, and he’s now created some really groovy new screen savers for everyone. We have noticed a trend. The new plan around the office is to just threaten manual labor as a diversion, and the bright young chap will come up with all sorts of things to keep him busy and make the site better. The leaders of the Revolutionary War should have known about this trick. 6/16/03	The beauty of the editorial section of the newspaper is that you don’t have to read it, and besides you probably don’t agree with any of the people in that section anyway. We have a rare editorial for you today entitled “Somebody’s Daughter” and we suggest you take the same tack here. You do have the benefit here of being able to see Kristal Summers in her first hard core boy/girl action, helped along with Inari Vachs. You also have the benefit of seeing how Anais managed to struggle through a couple of modeling sessions on her first days on a XXX shoot. 6/10/03	Well, Maverick’s in town, and as you guessed we haven’t seen the sun in Los Angeles for two days. To make matters worse, he had the audacity to complain (during his last visit) about the truly wonderful and fun slide show that Craig put together for us. That particular fascinating escapade we finished coding before the sun even set on Day One. Maverick, our good friend, brought us an entire new section of downloadable wallpapers, featuring all of our favorite women. We technically made it a “today” post, but this is another of those that only count in you live on the West Coast or in Hawaii. All of you can enjoy these new toys. 6/9/03	Because we’re quite certain that all of our Members are fans of Victorian Literature, we’ve begun a new section for the site called “Dear Readers Speak.” (Actually, we had to call it something, and that seemed quick.) It’s basically just going to be a place where we can post interesting stories about, well, whatever. 3/18/03	It’s rather unlike us to come up with something even vaguely topical, except for Juli’s Night Calls postings, of course. She always was the timely one among us. However, sometimes something so surreal happens that it "bares" (as it were) mention in prompt fashion. You would have to be a pretty faithful member to remember back to a time when D.Minion felt shy and lonely and speechless on a XXX set, but it happened recently. We found this and other facts surrounding the shoot notable, so, clever folks that we are, we decided to note them. The movie won’t be out until May, but you can get your first looks at former Playmates and Pets Victoria Zdrok and Linn Thomas as they venture into the hard core video world. 3/13/03	We’re saying farewell to our old friend "Nextel" Tim today, as he goes off in search of greener pastures. It’s sad, but not tragic, as we hope to see him around these parts again some day. As a tribute to his favorites, we imposed on our friends at VCA with a request to give us the publicity shots from Daydreams, Nightdreams, and they were kind enough to comply.
