We basically go from periods of controlled (sort of) chaos to those of sheer panic and bedlam — at least with a happy emphasis on the “bed” part of the equation. Consequently the “story lines” of the Risqué Members Area can most closely resemble perhaps an Escher creation, should one ever try to plot it out visually. While we would discourage that sort of plan in the interests of sanity, the pandemonium can lead to some wonderful things in our remastering journey. | 8/9/21 |  Because of the way we tend to weave all the different parts of the Risqué Commune together, sometimes when we do the remastering of original videos to modern standards tasks it can get complicated. A nice little illustrated article on one site may suddenly explode into a corresponding — yet completely separate — exposé on another. It would not be unheard of to have 3-4 “sites” all tied together under one video and photographic theme, actually. When this happens, and we have fallen down the rabbit hole, we try to poke our heads out long enough to realize that (in this case) we have uncovered a few minor miscalculations for Cytherea — and not some invisible cat. | 8/7/21 |  It used to be easier to name a movie back before everyone apparently started looking for ways to be offended, scandalized, or even witnesses to purported evil. Believe it or not, the concept of innocent phrases used to exist. You could say something without worrying that it could suffer totally unwarranted misinterpretation at some future point. Of course in those day we would know people wanted to talk to us because their phone number would appear on a little digital reader people carried around called a pager, too. So there’s that. Even Jenna Jameson used to be rather more “innocent” in those times. You have to take it in the context of being a professional performer who works naked, but innocent can mean different things in different contexts too. Do you think anyone remembers context? The “commercial” scenes — a nomenclature used within the industry to identify parts in scripts where they anticipate actors to move into the biological imperative part of the performance — can suffer from a good deal of homogeneity as a rule. (And this happens even in straight movies.) Every so often in a series presentation, though, you can shake things up and have things not “end” as predictably as most heterosexual pairings in the explicit movie arena.
