| 2/19/21 |  We see exciting things on the horizon this weekend as the latest generation Mars Rover gets ready to get to work. What could possibly go wrong with targeting from 300 million miles away, after all? It takes some pretty big brains to master all of that, so we decided to “launch” the weekend with perfect landings by Ana Foxxx and Cindy Starfall. One does not need to be a rocket scientist to fully appreciate this targeting, and for that fact we remain grateful here at Risqué. We also get to see to what extent and expense some people will go in order to provide a suitable area for strippers in their home. | 2/16/21 |  Apparently people get excited when you ask them to go back and remaster Reel Risqué video features since Flash Video unceremoniously flew the coop, stranding vast swaths of the web. Reel Risqué Volume Two has now reached completed status as well, you see, thus rounding out the entire site. Just looking at this one month we can see that what we thought would be a big project took them less than two weeks to accomplish. Kudos! … Of course the young and excited people have yet to learn the value of pacing and the impact of setting a bar unnaturally high because you got all excited and worked way more hours than you got paid for, obviously. Fun Fact: We have many more sites to go, and now we get to start much earlier than expected, as it turns out. … Education can be really fun to watch — at least from the top. | 2/8/21 |  The “commercial” scenes — a nomenclature used within the industry to identify parts in scripts where they anticipate actors to move into the biological imperative part of the performance — can suffer from a good deal of homogeneity as a rule. (And this happens even in straight movies.) Every so often in a series presentation, though, you can shake things up and have things not “end” as predictably as most heterosexual pairings in the explicit movie arena. | 2/4/21 |  We have figured out how to make you rich. Next time we see a format war between giant corporations, we will tell you our definite favorite. Then you take all your money and invest it in the other company. Back when we first envisioned the Risqué Commune — and Whitney Houston’s version of I Will Always Love You was first topping the charts — we never, ever, ever, thought that Adobe Flash would lose its place as a video file “container” on the web. Yeah, so we were wrong — which always sucks, by the way. As of this year, browsers have put the kibosh on that wonderful tech, officially telling history, “Yeah, well screw you.” … Consequently, we have a couple decades back from mid 2018 to remaster up to “modern” standards, which will probably change again in 20 years, irritating us all over again. On the upside, Volume One of Reel Risqué completed that task today. Therefore, it might be a fine time to go back and visit those early offerings of an insightful, yet absolutely adult, nature. If you like to play dress-up and you like candy, you would love spending the month of October with D.Minion. True to her desired form, she has in fact dedicated the October of Costumes for the entire Risqué Commune, and thus you may anticipate many, many specifically adorned adults doing all sorts of adult things as we approach the Month of Thanks — which some of us spend being grateful all the costumes are over, truth be told. Of course this year you will likely not have small costumed characters wandering the streets begging for candy, so you might not technically need to buy any to give out. Not to make fun of a genius or anything but trying to make parting less painful by calling it “sweet sorrow” is like trying to ease the impact of amputation by calling it weight loss. After careful consideration, the Offices of the Risqué Commune have reached a unanimous decision that we should all become Jewish. Now this has nothing whatsoever to do with religion, or God, or even a preference for unleavened bread. In fact, we do not even know if any of the people from today’s Macbeth episode are Jewish. Nope. It has nothing to do with any of that. … You see, we just found out that Rosh Hashanah starts tonight, which — as we also found out — means that Jewish people are celebrating a New Year already. Since 2020 has colossally sucked on so many levels we cannot begin to enumerate them, we simply decided to convert. So that’s all there is to it. Right? (Oh! If you dig up a buried treasure, does it cease being treasure and become something mundane like really expensive cool stuff or some such? If you have really expensive cool stuff, actually, why would you bury it in the first place? How many of us carry around a spare shovel just in case we might need it during the day? And if you must bury your treasure, why does everyone always put a big ol’ “X” on the map so that everyone knows where the really expensive cool stuff can be found? If you put like a dachshund emoji or something, people might think you odd, but they probably would not be digging for all your valuables. … These are the sorts of thoughts that consume us here at Risqué, y’know while 
If you have ever had to read Stream of Consciousness and then try to explain its brilliance to someone, then you might have some understanding of what work orders before a long weekend can look like around here. If you happen to be one of those people who looks at modern art and cannot for the life of you figure out how one bunch of squiggly lines, or red squares, yellow dots, and blue triangles displays greater talent and keen insight into the human condition than any other, well, you should apply for a job here. You’ll fit right in. 
Living these days comes down to pretty much feeling like a professional funambulist. Ironically, the whole “fun” part tends to be distinctly lacking, however. Between getting glared at for not wearing a mask, to getting glared at for wearing a mask, like outside has become pretty darned complicated. How many of us ever thought we’d ever even have a remote opinion about which kinds of masks we like versus which kind we do not? How many of us ever considered owning masks in different styles and colors before a couple of months ago? Then there are the “hoax” people … which we should likely not comment upon. So we just decided to stay inside and look at

We all happen to be living in very strange times. Regardless of what has happened when we can finally consider this whole COVID-19 thing “over” — whatever that ends up meaning — the world will be a fundamentally different place. Currently some leaders have undertaken various acts of broad, narrow, or quite possibly simply denial aspects. A percentage of the people consider those decisions wise, thoughtful, and undoubtedly difficult, albeit well-intentioned. The rest of us consider these actions, to use the technical term, completely and wholeheartedly wackadoodle. This morning a headline in the paper boasted that a local aquatic center would be partially opening soon, for example. How crazy is that? If you only partially open an aquatic center, all the water is going to leak out. …
