12/29/07	We read an “Old English” saying the other day that seems particularly appropriate for our little group on occasion. “Drink is the curse of the land. It makes you fight with your neighbor. It makes you shoot at your landlord, and it makes you miss him.” … Now we have traveled all over the world, and we don’t think that this philosophy necessarily applies just to the Brits, even though today’s post does happen to involve a few of them rather substantially. 12/25/07	Now it wouldn’t be a typical Christmas Greeting if we didn’t have something special for the members, now would it? OK. Usually they’re attached to some really bad puns, but you’ve probably come to expect that by now. Of course this year you’re all getting a very special gift by all of us in the office … and Lon, oddly enough. And Lon didn’t even know he was getting you anything, probably. But he’s been after us for some time to pop up all of those little images on the video wall out on the free side, and we’ve finally managed to make him happy. You can now look up all those little bitty pictures and see the “full versions” along with a caption that explains it. Get yourself some eggnog, as there are 116 “pages” here, but it should make for a dandy way to spend some time after you’ve given up on your new electronics and such. 12/16/07	Having your football team only score 13 points isn’t necessarily bad – unless the opposing team happens to score 31, of course. And having all of this happen on Thursday, meaning they won’t be playing on Sunday at all really makes it worse. Of course we’ve seen the writing on the wall this year for some time and have been hoping for losses equaling better draft positions next year, but nobody seems to be listening to us about that. … So if you’re not going to listen to us either, you might as well not listen to us about Isabella Kay. 12/14/07	We’re going with the simple collage approach today – well as simple as one can be when populated with Dee and Anais and the video replay of their Cam Show, that is. 12/7/07	So we’re discussing someone who has named herself “Porn Princess Christina” today, and she’s not in the porn business. She doesn’t even intend to be, at least at this point in her young life. Still she’s a big porn fan, has lots of like-minded female friends (who bear a remarkable resemblance to an old friend of ours, actually) and she represents perhaps an updated version of the porn consumer. Of course the “Old Boys and Corporations” that primarily run this business probably won’t notice, but maybe some day they’ll become members too, and then they’ll know everything y’all do. 11/30/07	There has been a very long debate over the difference between Art and Pornography, and in our little world perhaps the best explanation we’ve ever heard came from Gloria Leonard quoting someone (she sort of forgot to mention exactly whom, as we recall) that “The difference between art and pornography is the lighting.” … Well, politics aside, that works for us, although some would probably consider us not the best barometer of the topic, since we clearly have no problem with either. … With that in mind, then we’ll offer up some of the new talent around the office here and their “artistic” interpretations of the female nude. And since the female happens to be Shayla LaVeaux we certainly have no problem with that either. 11/25/07	We apparently have some A.J. Bailey fans hanging around here, or perhaps they just really, really like libraries. Whatever the case they set us upon a trail to find a bit more … um … interactive exercise from the budding archival scientist. What with the odd inclination of some people NOT to watch American football on television, or better yet attend a game personally, it seemed like a pleasant diversion featuring A.J. and Hillary Scott might be a bit more up their alley – so to speak. 11/22/07	So we had to go to Arizona to get some materials on a story about London. … Hey, we keep telling you truth is stranger than fiction. … Anyway, we decided to employ a few of the images in our typically heartfelt, empathetic, and divinely warm holiday greeting. … That seemed reasonable, seeing as how the rest of the employees seem to think they deserve the day off. Instead of thinking of obtaining some foreign workers around here, though, we’ll just wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, and blame all of the wackiness on D.Minion and Bijou being in a hurry to get to the food. 11/19/07	At any time in the day (these days) you’ll almost certainly be able to find a television announcer using the preface “At the end of the day …” for whatever pithy commentary they’re trying to espouse. Now we’re not sure when this happened; we’re not sure how it happened; we’re not even sure why it happened. We do think it’s interesting that no one seems to be much interested in “the beginning of the day” anymore – which probably just underscores the over-emphasis on results and not effort in modern society, at least it seems to us. … What have they done for us lately? … Right? … Toward that goal, then, we’ve decided not to wait on our “Fearless” (although most of us around here use “Frazzled” as the acceptable “F” term) Leader to continue the hopefully fascinating look at Women in Porn. Instead, we thought we’d look at a woman in porn, she being the Maverick discovery Suzie Best. In response to questioning, Maverick did indicate that he has BTS video with Ms. Best, and then we can wax philosophical anew. Until then we’ll just appreciate Suzie at the end of the day … or at the first of the day … or pretty much anytime we figure. Unfortunately for all of us that see the Big Picture and just wish to fold our hand for the year, all those folks that currently work for the team this year still want to have a job next year, and so they keep trying to win. … Creeps. … So we’ll appreciate a little half-time entertainment courtesy of Kristal Summers and Jassie, and we’ll lament all those people that confuse “what’s good for the team” with “what’s good for the team that still keeps paying me.” Something’s in the details, but maybe we don’t remember what correctly. 11/7/07	You know what happens when British Citizens fall in love? Well in A Fish Called Wanda John Cleese ended up with Jamie Lee Curtis, so this probably isn’t as good as that ending – probably. Still, when British Porno Citizens fall in love you get to see a whole lot more gratuitous nudity than you can with your basic Jamie Lee movie. Now we’re not entirely certain that this explains what has happened, but it’s as good a reason as we can figure for the all out Give it our (Suzie) Best season we seem to be entering. 11/5/07	Presumably when you think of “Ghetto” the word “Fabulous” isn’t the first thing that pops into your mind. Of course, you’re likely not looking at it through the eyes of Michael Ninn, and you’re probably not adequately taking in the references to Elvis Presley and Donny Osmond. It’s another one of those weird days with D.Minion on Set, can you tell? And of course there’s the very cleverly disguised BONUS material you can uncover today, as if the 160+ pictures and unique video moments weren’t enough. … OK. It’s really not all that cleverly disguised, since it’s basically a link that says “Bonus” on it, but you still have to look for it, and that will hopefully distract you from some of the anticipated oddness. 11/2/07	D.Minion has a dilemma that she needs your help with. For some reason (and this would be another one of those issues it’s best not to ask too many questions about) she almost religiously reads Diane Mott Davidson’s mystery series about a caterer in Boulder, Colorado that keeps finding herself in the middle of murder investigations. OK. So we pretty much consider these story lines credible to the same extent that we believe all of the stories in Penthouse Forum, but DM seems to like them – almost certainly because of the presence of more than a few canine characters in the tales. … Well, apparently in a recent novel, Ms. Davidson introduced a stray named “Latte” that apparently inexplicably disappeared in the following book. So if any of you have any idea how the stray happened to stray again and could let D.Minion know, she might be able to ease her psychic pain a bit. (Although don’t try making jokes about it just going out for coffee. We tried that. … About some things our fine Minion has very little sense of humor.) For our part we asked Nurse Kristal, and then she got completely out of the nurse costume during her Cam Show Video. … And then we forgot the question. Hey, it worked for us. 9/13/07	We got quite a few notably kind emails about our Russian friends Vicca and Nikita, and most went on to compliment the Mamacitas ladies as well. Some weeks are just like that. You can go days and days without any substantive emails from members and then all of the sudden something really hits home. Well, we decided that while we’re off finishing the “real movie” and trying to figure out why dismemberment is somehow more palatable to the MPAA than an erect penis, y’all might enjoy a little more of Vicca as our own Mamacita in the interim. 9/1/07	Well, the “official” remodel of the Members’ Side of the site(s) has begun, and so far we’re just intimidating all the Super-Geeks with the sheer volume of what we’ve been doing around here for the last eight years or so. It’s good to scare Geeks, though, and besides it’s fun to have a hobby. Anyway, Bijou has been compiling various lists and databases, and such, and somehow she found that we had begun D.Minion’s story about Vicca and Nikita’s photo shoot for the “novelty” company that would eventually sever the relationship with them, but never finished it. And since we just talked about the latest “novelty” convention here, and since we’ve been on the tangent of Vicca’s recent birthday in one of the Members’ Message Board threads, we decided that today would be a good day to finish the story. Occasionally we have a rhyme behind our reason. Or is that reason behind our rhyme? … But this doesn’t rhyme – all of the time. … It’s probably best to just enjoy some new looks at some old friends here, all things considered. 8/29/07	Just “Dip me in chocolate and throw me to the Lesbians” advises one “novelty” product D.Minion and Bijou highlight in their account of the recently completed 2007 Adult Novelty Manufacturers Expo. As you might expect while some of the products are certainly “novel” – and there were the occasional porn stars hanging around – like most of these shows we left truly wondering about the capacity of human being to devise objects that primarily involve sex. We also wonder what Freud would think of all of this, but fortunately we keep those philosophical ruminations to ourselves today. 8/28/07	Well we’ve been off working on a “real” movie which we’ll obviously tell you about when it’s done. Suffice it to say so far that it seems much like we envisioned, where they use “gore” in places we use beautiful naked women. All in all, beautiful naked women are more interesting. Which is why, by the way we’ve decided to offer up a little bit of Kristal Summers Then and Now as a fine way to venture back to more comfortable surroundings. Apparently D.Minion had some predictable dreams in our absence and they seem to have involved Kristal, which many of our dreams do as it turns out. 8/14/07	Woo-Hoo! The NFL is back with us, albeit with a month of basically meaningless games, but it’s still better to win than lose. Now for all you purists out there, the 2007 season may have technically started before Monday Night Football last night, but if you’re from Denver it didn’t. And if you’re from the San Francisco area, like bradcom, for example, you probably didn’t enjoy last night as much as the people from Denver did, even though it was a meaningless game. Fortunately, people from Denver are always supremely gracious in victory, and would never, ever, berate a friend whose team lost. … Well, we certainly wouldn’t do it before the games actually counted. … The point here being of course that apparently we missed an eventful wildlife trip that our newest member Bijou took. If we weren’t so happy with pro football being back, we might think Bijou’s novice take on our industry showed a little sarcasm, truth be told. As it turns out, though, we were talking to SteveD (in Colorado, btw) during the game and he mentioned a writing style he personally enjoys. I hope he hasn’t created a monster. Well, in a blazing exhibition of efficiency, D.Minion has already completed her On The Set piece for last week’s shoot, even before we set off again for the “Empire” of the high desert outside of Los Angeles. While last week we had to suffer through Sophia Lynn and Renna Ryann (and a few dudes, but they don’t really count), now this week we’re apparently shooting another All-Female Festival so it looks to be even more grueling.
