9/30/08	Members of Congress have apparently forgotten the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf! You see, after a while, people just don’t believe you anymore. And that sucks. On the upside, and true to his nature, Maverick with 247AdultStars today, has decided not to worry about any “Economic Crisis” and instead focus on very fine breasts. Now we’re not sure if having everyone take some time out of their chaos to just appreciate boobs, but we are sure that it certainly can’t hurt anything. And that would be a pleasant change. 9/26/08	Occasionally around here we sometimes do things like we said we’d do. Of course other than meaning that none of us has ever worked in Congress, that doesn’t mean that much. Still, we did manage to find the inside scoop on the Inari Vachs party that Mav mentioned on the Members’ Message Board, and that makes him happy. Not that we really care all that much if the Brits are happy all the time, but less whiny always seems a bonus. We should be nice to them, actually, because a great many European states border another country, and so that makes a whole lot of Europeans experts on foreign policy. We need those folks around. 9/19/08	So we have a 700 Billion Dollar problem and the President says, “Oops. Those darned Wall Street People …. But we’re winning the war. Did I mention?” … Granted it has been some time since Econ 101, but it seems like actually printing money to solve a problem doesn’t turn out to be a very good long-range solution. Still, it is America and we can’t have a whole bunch of rich people all of the sudden becoming poor people. That just won’t do. … On the upside, we’re avoiding the economic issues of the time and using D.Minion’s view of “Innocence” — perhaps as a metaphor for its loss, but still …. We will say here, though, that Latin class was just about as long ago as Econ 101, but maybe we should try to remember this little diddy: nosce te ipsum. 9/14/08	Philosophy and Economics provide our focus today, at least if you ignore the whole “Kristal Summers naked and doing a Cam Show” thing. Now we don’t want to criticize over a century and a half of higher education standards in the United States, but if more professors used visual aids like Kristal Summers, we all might learn a lot more easily. 9/6/08	So we’re back from yet another super-secret movie shoot, and this one we really can’t talk about. The allegations and law suits are flying back and forth like the ball in an Olympic ping pong tournament, and we don’t feel much like being the net (if we might continue the metaphor). However, all remains far from lost as we can talk about a dear individual, Taren Steele. 9/1/08	In honor of Kristal’s Birthday (!) today, Maverick has been learning about the power of the Press Badge. This time he takes us behind the scenes into an “adult industry only” party at a London club. As you might expect, he didn’t deviate that much from his usual pursuits, as he basically went in search of large breasts. (There’s the “honor of Kristal Summers” part, in case you didn’t notice.) 7/31/08	Did you ever do anything really dumb just because a good friend wanted you to? Yeah, well, this doesn’t exactly qualify as jumping off a cliff, or climbing up and painting the town water tower or anything, but we’re still putting up a story today that in good conscience we must simply encourage all of you not to read. For some undoubtedly deeply psychological reason, D.Minion has decided that we’re really all quite interested in a couple of aging domestic animals, and she has gone so far as to provide pictures (to our great shame). That said, we always make it easy for you to skip down to the bottom of an entry just by hitting the little camera icon at the top of the page, and you should definitely do that today. Once there you’ll find that we did manage to sneak in a bit of lesbian shower fun with Taren Steele and Juli Ashton — and there’s not a household pet in site. 7/20/08	Apparently, there has been grumbling among the ranks. Allegedly the senior member of the “team” here has been absent altogether too much as of late, causing the whiners to commence with their harmony. So the senior team member chips in today (with the aid of D.Minion who ranks third on that list, by the way) just to show the whipper-snappers how one should create a proper risqué post. What’s five videos, 130+ pictures, and some 5,400 words between friends, after all. 7/9/08	You’d think we’d learn. Every time we put up a “D.Minion at a convention” story we’re amazed at the amount of quirky information she manages to uncover — even when she tries to “tame” her approach. Then, naturally, as we go through the process of adding our minutiae (which sometimes turns out not to be all that “minute” if you want to be technical about it) the posts seem to take on a life of their own — typically a very weird life. … Well, you’ll be happy (or maybe sad) to know that we’ve done it again with Erotica LA, 2008. If you do nothing else in life, at least you should try to be consistent, we think. Consistently good occasionally happens as a bonus, but we always strive for that. It’s good to have a plan. 7/1/08	Reading a book the other day we realized that we don’t say “various and sundry” enough around here, particularly when you realize that this phrase pretty much sums up our lives. So we’re down shooting some more content and we stop for lunch. As we pull in to the lot for our favorite Valley-Local “Burger, Hot Dog, Chinese Food” joint, we notice a new bus stop bench out front advertising a “Topless Truck Wash” . Now presumably they don’t wash only topless trucks, but that’s still not overly odd. It’s LA, after all. Then we pop into a restroom inside and notice an expression of the quickly dying graffiti art written on the wall above the urinal. “Fuck the bitch, Suzie” it said, and it gave the anticipated phone number. Now other than obviously being less elegant than the traditional “For a good time” approach it didn’t really capture our attention until we read the last line reading, “Recommended by Ed.” … Don’t you just love style? Fortunately today we’re discussing neither men’s rooms nor Chinese restaurants that serve hot dogs. Instead we’ve unleashed even more “Dee on KSEX” entries, these being specifically from June 3rd and June 10th – of 2004. 6/30/05	You know what? We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. For awhile we just thought these uncomfortable feelings were just from the long hours at Ninn Worx, or trying to get a deep understanding of really sexy subjects like “video compression techniques” or something. We even gave the “must have had some bad seafood” theory a brief visit, but then we realized that unless it comes wrapped in paper, we haven’t eaten it lately. Then we saw Dee at LA Erotica and we realized the obvious truth of the matter: We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. You know, you can spend time with your head buried in codec geekdom, on machines that cost many thousands of dollars, and you still miss the simple stuff. 6/27/05	Conventions and Events pretty much describe the modern working world in America. No matter what you do for a living, there’s almost certainly a convention somewhere (every year) that brings all of you like-minded people together … probably to talk amongst yourselves about how hideous it is to try to do what you do for a living. … well … We have those also. And we also have those Events that really, really want to be in this “essential” catagory, so that they might make a bunch of money off of all of us too. Consider LA Erotica. Now the people that attend this paticular convention are much more interesting than the folks that pay money to display their wares, as it were, but it’s still a rather fun place to hang out for a bit. This year it cost $30 per person, per day, and that probably makes some accountant happy somewhere. We just went for the pretty girls. Sometimes simple is best.
