3/31/26 JassieParticularly with D.Minion on vacation, we have been known to take some fairly substantial leaps in order to create a tangent in our at this point aged Risqué Tapestry of life in the adult world. Today would be one of those days, perhaps. You start with the premise that more Jassie always beats less Jassie, and you just kind of dig from there. Could be you would end up at a set from one of the very early days of Anais with Michael Ninn if you do that. Of course some people, most notably Gibby, amongst our crew, might feel that we have slighted the lovely Anais in this effort, but we have also added Tiffany Mason, which definitely cannot hurt anything. 3/29/26 Juli AshtonNow that spring has sprung, and all the clocks around the world have irritated us globally because we lost an hour of sleep, it seemed like maybe it was time to take a break and talk about the movie that changed the trajectory of our entire organization. While Essentially Juli was in fact essentially about Juli Ashton and her fantasy life, it also had a great deal of reality about it — real reality, not the fake kind on tv today. I remember the first time a producer called me to come pick up a script for a “reality” show one of the Risqué stars had landed. Totally blew up my world, like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny both reared back together and kicked me in the butt. Not sure I have recovered yet, to be honest, but looking back today helped a lot. We did not SCRIPT. We RECORDED. … What fools we have for executives making decisions, right? We do have a collection where the date may change, but the calculation remains the same, like the fourth Thursday in November, or the second Sunday in May, things like that, but they still have some semblance of order to them. Mostly the religious holidays give us days which seem like somebody closed their eyes and threw a dart at a calendar, but those would be unimportant for our purposes at this moment. No, today we consider those holidays which always fall on the same date, whatever the day of the week that may be. Those would be the second easiest to remember. February 14th. December 25th. Finally! … We have finally finished compiling all the various images and moving pictures from the most recent AVN enterprise, the Adult Entertainment Expo, 2026 edition. You know what? We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. For awhile we just thought these uncomfortable feelings were just from the long hours at Ninn Worx, or trying to get a deep understanding of really sexy subjects like “video compression techniques” or something. We even gave the “must have had some bad seafood” theory a brief visit, but then we realized that unless it comes wrapped in paper, we haven’t eaten it lately. Then we saw Dee at LA Erotica and we realized the obvious truth of the matter: We haven’t been talking about Dee enough. You know, you can spend time with your head buried in codec geekdom, on machines that cost many thousands of dollars, and you still miss the simple stuff. Conventions and Events pretty much describe the modern working world in America. No matter what you do for a living, there’s almost certainly a convention somewhere (every year) that brings all of you like-minded people together … probably to talk amongst yourselves about how hideous it is to try to do what you do for a living. … well … We have those also. And we also have those Events that really, really want to be in this “essential” catagory, so that they might make a bunch of money off of all of us too. Consider LA Erotica. Now the people that attend this paticular convention are much more interesting than the folks that pay money to display their wares, as it were, but it’s still a rather fun place to hang out for a bit. This year it cost $30 per person, per day, and that probably makes some accountant happy somewhere. We just went for the pretty girls. It seemed appropriate that we end our first “Official Juli Ashton Week” as we began it — with a D.Minion recap of Night Calls, this time from May of 2005. In honor of her intrepid return to her Message Board, we’ve decided to show off the earliest pictures we have of the young beauty, Georgia. Most of you probably know she’s featured in a couple of scenes in Basically Becca, and you can see, even as early as a couple of years ago, just what a special affinity she has for the camera. We’re pretty sure that’s what Juli and Becca were discussing in the few shots we snuck in and shot of them too. This “interaction” was actually not for any video release, but seemed to involve other types of release, come to think of it. In an atypical caving of conscious, we’ve been won over by office lobbying efforts to post some of the more “timely” stories as they’re, well, timely. D.Minion been after us to sort of bop back and forth between past and present for some time, but Dee finally won us over. For those of you that have seen the office cam shows, you’ll know just how persuasive Dee can be. Wendy’s got a new “do” and D.Minion was on set with her (and, coincidentally, Dee) just last month.
