And as far as birthday presents go, Stacy Valentine certainly qualifies as a good one. … As for the fact that this specific, um, interaction happened a few years back makes no difference, since the memory can always be a new one. In our bizarre little world, the phrase “Trick or Treat” takes on a vastly different meaning than you will likely hear at your doorstep this evening. (At least we really, really hope so, and if not, you live in a truly weird neighborhood.) Still, as the holiday season approaches most of our office sets to the task of planning for next year, having either successfully completed the schedule for this year or having decided to just scrap a bunch of it after a suitable application of tequila. 
There have to be at least tens of thousands of ways to make a cheap movie, and that might be a conservative estimate, depending upon how narrowly one defines 
There are too many numbers in modern life, have you noticed? You’d think it would be much easier, because no one has to remember those annoying 7-digit phone numbers anymore, and if there was an area code too? Egads! … Nope. Now to call mom no matter where she moves, it’s just Favorites-1-Send. (Because if you don’t have your mom as number one, you’re gonna get in trouble.) … Still when 
A couple weeks in and Gibby has hit full stride with his “reasons to attend the next AVN convention” coverage. And when you happen to be tall enough to reach the ceiling without jumping in any normal room, 
You just have to do a special celebration for “Leap Day” do you not? And let’s be honest, as a general rule, risque celebrations tend to be the best kind, y’know with the appropriate audience. Well, we have an even extra-special Leap Day celebration today, as we recently discovered a whole slew of On-the-Set pieces that previously existed only on the original MichaelNinn.com — which has been dead for more than a decade now. The 
At one point in life we feel like birthdays cannot come quickly enough. Then we spend a good number of years pretty much ignoring them unless we have a significant other from which we might receive special treats. … Then birthdays sort of become different animals which we actively ignore. Well Dee has a birthday today, and apparently she falls somewhere in the transition between those last two because although she did not want attention drawn, she shows no signs of actually turning down 
Talk to any serious fan of a team playing in the Super Bowl, and they will tell that they probably feel as nervous before the game as any of the coaches or players. Sure, we know we have absolutely nothing to do with the outcome, and whatever happens will have absolutely no monetary impact on our lives. It changes the conversations at work in the morning, almost certainly increases the beer consumption in the winning city the night before, but that’s about it. Still, having been on the other side of the equation a number of times, we can claim with unequivocal certainty: Winning is better. [STAR TAGS: Go Denver Broncos!]
Due to the unusually large number of televisions in the office, as well as the “office team” being involved in the contest, we have confidence that we have done our fan preparation well by watching all the claimed “88 Live Hours” of programming on the NFL Network. At this point, we probably feel just like 99% of the people out there, players included: Just play the damned game! Only somewhere over 100 million people watch this event, however, either for the football or the commercials, so one of our leaders — not in the 100,000,000 as you might have guessed — insisted that we come up with a distraction she labeled 
Now we have nothing against cross-dressing around here, although we will say that if you put your clothes on while angry, you do run the risk of having them be inside out when you finish. Still, we all balance reward vs. risk every day, and for the most part we do not make decisions we know are wrong when we do them. If 
We’re not sure what might have happened had we not made special mention of the Official First Sunday of the 2015 National Football League season, because honestly we never gave it any thought. Now as we understand it, some people do not celebrate this day to the extent the majority of Americans do, but some people still insist the world is flat too, so what can you do? So as the next few months play out and conversations turn to 
Even people that have wildly enjoyable jobs will sometimes find themselves in a position where reality takes an ugly bite out of a day. Tomorrow will obviously be such a day, thus we decided to remember it today. If we get a bit of public service out of the way as well, so much the better. 
On a day when 90% of the country enjoys a holiday, those at either end of the professional spectrum tend to be at work. Executives sneak into the office for a few hours, prepared to at least enjoy the peace and quiet, while those with the least seniority do whatever they usually do for a living and pine for a time when they too get to demand family time when most regular people get it. This latter group should be careful what they wish for, at the very least setting their sights somewhere below the Executive Level, but then people rarely exhibit such foresight, so they will eventually find out for themselves.
