10/28/08	Apparently the “business” Internet connections in the U.K. don’t function the same way as the ISPs do over here in civilization. Poor Maverick has waited almost a week to get his connection back, as they keep sending someone out to “try something” and then it doesn’t work so they just promise another technician will be by in 24-48 hours. … For our part we decided to help the chap out by posting his 247 update and telling everyone about it here. This method has the distinct benefit of allowing us to say pretty much whatever we want, and he can’t even check it to defend himself. We’re off to LA for the next “super-secret” shoot, but rumor has it that we’ll at least be able to talk about it next week, so that’s a plus. First thing we’ll do when we get back this weekend will be to make corrections to protect Mav’s reputation. … Probably. It would be wrong to title this Sandie Caine is Able, right? 10/24/08	So it may not rank up there with Aristotle and the Round Earth theory, or Pythagoras and his Theorum(s), or Newton and the Apple on the some silly scale like “change the evolution of human thought and civilization” or anything, but today a new risqué author confronts a challenge of impressive proportions as he attempts to set about placing porn in relative perspective. That said, we will warn you: History is good — often sad, generally misremembered, and continually open to debate, but “good” in a wholesome sense of the word. Our dear historian here, however, should probably spend just a little more time on the language arts, however, at the very least learning a few more words. He should be more intrepid, for example. Now if you’ve decided not to watch the Broncos on Monday Night Football on ESPN this evening, because you really don’t care, you at least have some other — certainly more nude — forms of entertainment with which to fill your time. 10/16/08	Maverick has a bit to say about Harry’s last party today, what with him being all in the party mood again with Vegas and mucho porn partying on the horizon. For our part we bring some party favors in the form of a delicate “Pink Package” to add to the festivities. That’s said, it’s still before Halloween here and before the Presidential Election, as you certainly can’t miss hearing about unless you’re living under a rock or something. Still, according to many, many television commercials, they’re even “finding the Internet” under remote rocks these days, so who knows? We do know that the candidates ought to address the resilient “truth in advertising” issue tonight, along with the more predictable “Economy” and “War” and “Ain’t this current President sucky?” comments. Thinking about Halloween, D.Minion has already begun buying candy (because she loves any excuse for sugar), and yesterday we ate an entire bag of Smarties in the office. You know that this morning not a one of us felt appreciably more intelligent at all? Fortunately, you don’t have to be really bright to know what “Pink Package” refers to. 10/9/08	Ah, but sometimes you just love the easy ones. Not that we’re saying you could consider Lorraine Sisco “easy” , of course. Because that would be wrong. But during her Tall Goddess days she certainly qualified as a daring and curious lass, and to her credit she hasn’t forgotten the fun of that type of — call it performance. Also when the entire focus today has to do with a refreshingly positive outlook on higher education in America, well, you take your respites when you can. If congress hasn’t taught us anything lately, we should at least try to remember that. Well, we should remember that and it’s very good to be an AIG executive. 10/5/08	Juli Ashton celebrates a birthday today, and thus D.Minion happily compiled a celebration in her own odd way. Imagine that. … Then we pointed out that Juli shares a birthday with one of the original risqué contribution team, and yet D.Minion has overlooked him completely. As only DM can do, when faced with the apparent contradiction, she explained simply, “But it’s Juli.” Oh. That helps. 10/3/08	You ever meet anyone that just can’t throw anything away? To these unusual creatures “old, obscure, and useless” somehow morphs in their brains into “retro, cool, and valuable,” and most of (read: sane among) us have no idea how this happens. Well, D.Minion has been a bit ill lately, giving her an unusual amount of time wandering the recesses of her … um … unique abode. Understanding that this place boasts overflowing shelves of Sonny and Cher dolls, you can see that it always frightens us when DM spends too much time there. The brain can only take so much 70’s influence before it starts rebelling, at least that’s our theory. Now consider the “super-secret extra collection” of risqué memorabilia she unearthed recently, and you have some idea of what you’re in for today. It won’t make anything easier to “grok” (since we’re using retro terms), but sometimes just trying to figure out how you got to a place can help. At least you can try to avoid the problem in the future. For our part we’ve issued an official memo forbidding D.Minion from ever getting sick again. 6/29/06	We have a curiously brief report on Erotica LA today, possibly having something to do with D.Minion’s sudden (and almost unexplained) incapacity. Gee. We just can’t figure out what happened. But there are 60 pictures here, and some video clips of items seen at the show that almost uniformly have no practical application. Come to think of it, that pretty much defines our goal in life. 6/25/06	LA Erotica was actually a bit wackier this year than it has been historically, and we’re blaming D.Minion. That seems fair since she’s been hanging out with Lorraine Sisco altogether too much and has plastered us with 310 pictures, a secret mpeg, and 3000+ words covering the bizarre second day of Lorraine’s The Catalyst. These two women should quit hanging out so much together, and so we’ve decided just to tie DM to a chair in the office, or maybe to one at her house so she could commune with her cat. We’re definitely breaking her keyboard, so enjoy these Mega-Epics while you can. Some day we’ll look back on this and laugh … She swears. 6/20/06	It’s a bit of nostalgia, with stories of a young Devinn Lane, and it’s a bit of awe, as we look at all the Wicked Pictures can do with a DVD release, and it’s more than a bit of the shamelessness that makes us loveable that we’re offering today. Well, maybe we’re not loveable, per se, but that’s really the only word we could think of on the spur of the moment, and we didn’t want to delay you any further from D.Minion’s review of Wicked’s Camp Cuddly Pines Power Tool Massacre. 6/19/06	Well don’t everyone fall off of their chairs or anything, but we’re back again. The new system seems to be working remarkably well (although we’ll almost certainly regret saying that). We’re going with just a typical little D.Minion story today, this being her “pre-production observations” of Sacred Sin. We looked at the entire story in Word and learned, much to our dismay, that the entire discourse covers some 10,027 words. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, our immediate suggestion was to just give y’all a dozen pictures and let you keep the change. D.Minion’s look was not one of adoration at this suggestion, however. So we’re breaking it up, and we promise to get through it all – if for no other reason than everyone here is pretty much afraid of D.Minion. Women in their 40’s get a little scary you know … . 6/18/06	This isn’t so much a “let’s see if this works” kind of thing as it is a “OK. Fine. We’ve been promising you we’d do this since the Dark Ages (translation: Before Sacred Sin), so now we’re finally doing it.” sort of thing. That said, we still ended up with a rather intimate portrayal of a Fine English Lass named Faye, courtesy of our friend Maverick. Granted, Mav sometimes forgets to focus, and he never once looked into the background of the shot, but considering what Faye was doing and what she was (or was not) wearing, we can kind of understand the scattered approach. For an evolved amateur, Maverick seems to be catching on just fine. He even included a couple of variations on a video theme that we’re just going to stop talking about now, and for the record, we’re just going to assume he’s not the “P” in “POV” … . 6/17/09	Experimentations and Confirmations continue as we struggle desperately to find something to serve the dual purpose of being interesting for you, and giving us a chance to stretch the limits of our server capabilities. 6/17/06	Those of you that have been members for awhile will recognize the “Gee, we tried to automate the mechanics here, and we’re just sufficiently weird in the way we approach the web that even really smart web people can’t figure out how to fit us into any sort of automatic database system.” Ah, well. Quite honestly this isn’t the first area in life where we’ve continued to learn that we just don’t fit in all that well. … So we’re back to the old “do it by hand” method, and we’ve got to run through the variety of different types of posts that we do in order to be sure everything’s back to normal — well, normal to us. You can start today to see if things Clique for you as they have for many people (judging from sales of the title), and we’ll move along to the next “hand-crafted” category. You know, if you find yourself in this sort of situation in your own lives, you might just start considering yourself an “artisan” like we’ve decided to do; it beats the heck out of the “Gawd, I’m a dinosaur.” sort of philosophy. 12/31/03	We had a plan. The skeleton crew that remained here over the holidays decided to post D.Minion’s “On The Scene” report from Anais’ first movie Fem: Diva in honor of the new year, what with Anais being new in 2003 and all. Thus they faithfully plodded through the processing of the 200+ pictures that D.Minion saw fit to capture. Then the editorial staff sat down (it sounds like it’s way more than one person if you say it that way) and took a look at the article. It is, in its current state, 14 pages long, utilizing 4,995 words. “Word Count” can be a daunting tool. Consequently, we came up with another plan. Today we have a nice little story about a day last summer when D.Minion was on the set for Spice TV with Julia Ann. It has a nice little collection of 10 paragraphs, most of them short, and a nice group of 37 mostly naked pictures of Julia. We liked this a lot. We will do our Fem: Diva piece in honor of the Adult Entertainment Expo that begins next week in Las Vegas, thus giving you a week to get through “The Epic That Began Anais.” You will think this is nice. The fact that D.Minion returns from vacation tonight, and will therefore be around to help with the bulk of the work that we face, has almost nothing to do with the reason that we decided to wait. 12/25/03	If you ask my mother, she’ll tell you that the problem with the modern-day Christmas holiday stems from the “evil root of money.” According to her, people have forgotten the True Meaning of Christmas, and as a fine upstanding Baptist (ok, as fineand upstanding as one can be while still being a Baptist), she’ll be quick to point out that this festive season should NOT rely on gift-giving, but rather should invoke emotional, introspective, and faithfully tithing genuflection. Well, I can confidently say here that mom would be proud of this post. I can confidently say this because I’m absolutely certain mom is not a member of this site, and thus will never be able to see what’s inside. Mom always says I lack a certain reverence for tradition; my mom has always been very wise. Many of you probably know that a member named Maverick (and that sounds like a country song) has quite a fascination with Ms. Summers. 12/17/03	It’s Night Calls Night again, and D.Minion got in her latest coverage just under the wire. She’s been spending so much time on set of late that she’s been falling further behind in her scribely duties. We have put her mind at ease, however, when she expresses her fears that we’ll reassign her various jobs to the couple of new interns we have working here for a bit and then fire her. As you peruse Night Calls, December 3, 2003 you too can rest assured that D.Minion will be around for a long time. We have clearly explained to her that she can’t be fired, as slaves have to be sold … Do we have an opening bid, by the way? 12/16/03	In a recent FDA study, United States government doctors researching test drugs administered weekly doses of VIAGRA to an equal number of doctors and lawyers. While the majority of the doctors achieved enhanced sexual prowess, the lawyers simply grew taller. The US government researchers are at a loss to explain. That pretty much typifies today’s miscellaneous approach. Sometimes you just run across stuff you don’t know what to do with, and so you just throw it all together and see what comes out.
