When we were shooting Night Calls: The Movie 2 for Playboy TV, Juli Ashton’s co-star Doria — the Night Calls co-host before Tiffany Granath — was having a devil of a time remembering one of her lines. Somewhat sadly, the line was, “I get by with a little help from my friends,” which probably says more about Doria’s state of mind at the time than it does her musical taste. Here many, many years later we still remember that story and that song. More importantly, we still remember the concept, because each of us probably lives that way more often than we’d like to admit. We do not tend to give the bittersweet moments in life enough credit. We all learn how to handle disappointment, and anyone reading this page has probably lived long enough to learn how to survive actual grief. The folks over at ReelRisque added to their growing collection of “artsified” videos this week, as has become their tradition. Most of the time these updates include both videos and still photo galleries, but not every time, as you may have noticed. Actually, according to the page logs, a good percentage of you have figured out that although we tend to mention these updates on Fridays, they will sometimes technically appear a day or two earlier than that on the ReelRisque site. If you get used to watching the new videos off of that home page, though, you miss all the words, and if you do not check out our “OOMPH to the ILF in MILF” here then you will miss the small collection of stills too.
