Instead of watching two monitors, while basically just looking for focus and exposure matching between the two cameras, on a 3D movie you have to watch the left and right “eye” for each camera, the two “regular” 2D views that you’ll use for the normal movie release, as well as the giant 3D monitor to be sure of the value and adequacy of your “convergence” in the scene. Oh, and you have to have special glasses on to see the 3D monitor well, and you can’t see the other monitors very well at all if you have them on.
