As for the pictures specifically here, they honestly lack the photographic finesse that we usually bring to set photography, which probably explains why we’ve never used them before. Their shortcomings too stem from the general tension of the day, as we spent most of the time shooting them from across the room using a long lens, or sometimes literally perched on a tall ladder set up just off set to help adjust the lighting. As a technical matter at the time, Anais was not supposed to be looking in the direction of our cameras, but she had been spending a lot of time preparing for this day, and we had been together talking about it by what seemed like ages by then, so she did tend to be aware of our various locations in the room. She’d look. One of us would shoot a picture, and I’d get yelled at – because they certainly didn’t want to criticize her. We got a few shots and then moved to the back of the room out of sight, confident in one of my most dear philosophies: It’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

As for the Most Beautiful Woman Ever in Porn, it seems most often everybody has a different opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. (Hey, that’s good. Feel free to write it down.)
If you have an interest in seeing the ultimate “use” of Anais’ performance on this particular day, we found the original clip of the “music video” that Michael’s team put together. It comes from Fetish: I Know Your Dreams, and if nothing else it demonstrates some of the bizarre movies that the early Ninn Worx days produced. It also reminds us that we really should go back and put some of those very early site videos into the much more technically advanced approach we can employ now.
