| 9/19/21 |  School has started again most everywhere, and after the first week or so we can be certain of one thing absolutely. Whether masks, no masks, happy parents, angry parents, governors stupid or smart, you put young people together for a short amount of time, and Love Letters will begin to flow. Passed amongst friends, slipped into lockers, slid under dorm room doors, whatever, biological imperative trumps — pardon the expression — even heated politics. So we decided to relaunch our full movie Love Letters in honor of the joy of being college students. It was probably in honor of Kristal Summers too, honestly. And 74 million people voted for a complete narcissist with a God Complex in the last national election, so we really cannot be bothered by people with very narrow minds. Regardless of the doubters, today we represent American Girls with solid blue collar values in their pretend professions. Well, not all of the collars are blue, really. In fact, there are not many collars at all, or clothes really. Still, no one would understand blue neck values, and that sounds kind of ishy anyway. Good grief, what fresh hell is this? … Yet every year on this first Monday of September we all celebrate Labor Day (technically, “all” as in U.S. all) by doing exactly zero actual labor. | 9/4/21 |  Planning has been all but impossible as anyone — well, basically alive and old enough to go outside on their own — can tell you. Back in July we were absolutely certain we’d be trekking to Las Vegas in January for the big AVN convention (the last one?). Then, gosh, this seems pretty hard to explain without getting stuck in the political muck of who’s doing or not doing what that made sailing smoothly into herd immunity a virtual certainty. So without going there, we can admit that we have found ourselves back in the world of virtual meetings, if that tells you anything. So we’re still thinking about the AEE in January, but we’re also thinking about not ending up infected by unwashed masses in an unnaturally cramped room too. (Hey, there’s a lot of drool at a porn convention.) So while we continue to think and see what happens, we thought we would revisit via remaster a particularly memorable trip from a few years ago. | 9/2/21 |  We all enjoy holidays, if not for their underlying reason for existence so much as the fact that most of us do not have to work, even though we still get paid. There are other more personal dates in a year, though, that fall into the “Personal Holiday” category. For whatever reason, when these days roll around annually, it makes us smile, if not necessarily spend a bunch of money on things that make pretty explosions in the nighttime sky. Today would be one of those days for the Risqué Commune actually, even though “work” may not be the most accurate description of what we do around here. As for the millions of not working but still getting paid people out there, well, that ends this weekend. Our lives tend to be on the complicated side, as a rule. We basically go from periods of controlled (sort of) chaos to those of sheer panic and bedlam — at least with a happy emphasis on the “bed” part of the equation. Consequently the “story lines” of the Risqué Members Area can most closely resemble perhaps an Escher creation, should one ever try to plot it out visually. While we would discourage that sort of plan in the interests of sanity, the pandemonium can lead to some wonderful things in our remastering journey. Consider a 
Friday the 13th tends to be a sort of special family holiday around here. Perhaps it makes us feel even a little more lucky than usual — a concept that those familiar with the Risqué Commune will understand easily. Even without any personalized skipper knowledge about our group, everyone can appreciate a custom holiday that might happen three times a year. More beer! … And this year we compliment that with a couple decades look back at 
Because of the way we tend to weave all the different parts of the Risqué Commune together, sometimes when we do the remastering of original videos to modern standards tasks it can get complicated. A nice little illustrated article on one site may suddenly explode into a corresponding — yet completely separate — exposé on another. It would not be unheard of to have 3-4 “sites” all tied together under one video and photographic theme, actually. When this happens, and we have fallen down the rabbit hole, we try to poke our heads out long enough to realize that (in this case) we have uncovered a few minor miscalculations 
It used to be easier to name a movie back before everyone apparently started looking for ways to be offended, scandalized, or even witnesses to purported evil. Believe it or not, the concept of innocent phrases used to exist. You could say something without worrying that it could suffer totally unwarranted misinterpretation at some future point.
