| 2/17/07 | We’ve got another big trip down to LA planned, because Michael has decided that it’s a grand idea to shoot eight days in a row … because Michael is completely insane. That said, we figured we’d tag along anyway because odds are good that there’s going to be at least a few very interesting young women to talk to, and the fact that they’re likely to be scantily clad really doesn’t enter into the equation at all. OK. It might, but we were never very big fans of equations in general, so we plan on doing as little math as possible while we enjoy the ambiance. For your part, you can finally read about Redish’s big day with an also scantily clad Kristal Summers, and you can once again remind yourself about the value of genetics as you consider Anais. All in all, if this doesn’t keep you busy until we get back next weekend, then you can try solving equations for three variables or something, but don’t ask us for help. We’ll be hanging with the naked chicks – to hear what they have to say, of course. [FEATURED TAGS: Adult Entertainment Expo, Kristal Summers, Anais Video, Exclusive Video, Redish] |
| 2/16/07 | Sometimes after a big ol’ This is The Industry’s Biggest Convention of the Year kind of post, you just want something nice and simple. We were trying to do that today. … Unfortunately in perusing Chris Hall’s wonderful photos from Through Her Eyes, we noticed that all of the pictures are of particularly beautiful and alluring women, which by definition means that they are anything but simple. We didn’t have a better plan, though, so we’re posting them anyway. We are, however, including a time-honored caveat: Y’all be careful now. Y’hear? [FEATURED TAGS: Faith Leon, Shy Love, Sophia, Selina Draagen, Michael Ninn] |
| 2/14/07 | The train she was a slowin’ down as we headed into the end of the trip for Lon’s AEE story. But we now know a whole lot of things we didn’t know before – none of which will help in the slightest if we ever want to be on Jeopardy, by the way. Still we’ve now managed to finish this particular trek and we hid a little Dee (and Georgia Adair) bonus in there for the detective-types among you. (OK. It’s not really hidden that well, but let’s face it: Those two young ladies pretty much shine despite any shadowy intent.) [FEATURED TAGS: Adult Entertainment Expo, Dee Video, Calian Curtis, Nicole Sheridan, Alexis Amore, Exclusive Audio, Exclusive Video, Lon] |
| 2/9/07 | Do you know what’s better than a photo set of Inari Vachs wearing a fancy outfit with a bright green and white feather boa? Well, you probably guessed it, but if you didn’t it’s Inari Vachs NOT wearing a fancy outfit – with a bright green and white feather boa. Also, we have Days Two and Three from Lon at the AEE, but with all deference to our good friend, we’re thinking Inari naked might be more of a draw. Call it a hunch …. We call it “Inari, Unconstricted” … but we’re weird that way. [FEATURED TAGS: Adult Entertainment Expo, Inari Vachs, Kristal Summers, Kylie Ireland, Exclusive Video, Lon, Risque News Insight] |
| 2/5/07 | We interrupt our regularly scheduled AEE coverage to bring you a bit of news (with a video celebration, naturally). As it turns out Heather (Vuur, or Vandeven, it remains to be seen) has been named Penthouse Pet of the Year. Gee. Who knew? While her magazine won’t “officially” be hitting the stands for a couple of weeks, we thought we’d provide this Public Service Announcement so that y’all might begin saving your pennies so that you may purchase one. We can probably even get you an autograph if you send it in and request it. We know people that know people, you know. Oh, and don’t worry. We’ll get back to Lon’s fascinating and technically marvelous Polaroids soon. [FEATURED TAGS: Heather Vurr Video, Heather Vandeven Video, Exclusive Video, Michael Ninn] |
| 2/3/07 | Our bonus today includes 100 beautiful pictures of Ninn Worx’ contract star Heather. There is absolutely no reason that we would be talking about Heather this weekend, because that would be wrong. So don’t even think there’s a reason. We never do anything wrong, after all. Well, we did include Lon’s Day One of the AEE today too, and depending on your perspective, that might be “wrong” – but we’re pretty sure it’s not going to make anyone physically attack us or anything. Historically, by the way, that has been our internal barometer of “wrong” – which probably means yet another thing we’d rather not think about. We also talk about Froot Loops. We’ll just eat some of those rather than think too deeply. | 2/1/07 | According to the take-out packaging at the local’s Wendy’s restaurant, a “Zedonk” is a cross between a male zebra and a female donkey. Implied in this description must be the logical assumption that a female zebra would kick the begeezus out of a male donkey if he tried to mount her. Now we don’t know what exactly Lon’s beginning of the AEE would be a cross between, and we’re pretty sure the one thing it doesn’t have is implied logical reasons buried in it. But it does represent a rather wacky example of our lives, and we get to see Dee naked for a bit, and that’s always nice. You have to consider that we may not be the best judges of things around here, though, as we thought “Zedonk” was the sound your rotweiller makes when the car it’s been chasing for months finally decides to stop in the road. | 10/31/05 | In the manner of traditional holiday pursuits, we seek to make some hollow weenies today. Being somewhat distinguished from the norm in this festive tradition, though, it may be possible that we have approached this endeavor with a somewhat unusual slant. Well … that happens. As it happens too, though, sometimes very simple tasks turn out to be the most entertaining. Ain’t life grand? [FEATURED TAGS: Audrey Hollander, Michael Ninn] |
| 10/28/05 | We came up with the title “Podiatric Ponderings” so it would seem logical that we would have to foot the bill. … That pretty much sums it up for today, folks. Sure, we talk about Socrates, and the nature of the XXX business, and even Zaphod Beeblebrox, but basically the philosophy pales in comparison with the tanned skins of the beautiful women present. And doesn’t that just about sum up life? [FEATURED TAGS: Juli Ashton Video, Krisz Video, Shaena Steele Video, Exclusive Video] |
| 10/25/05 | As we were going through all of the completed files, those being of the type ready to put up for the world to see (well, technically not The World, per se, but at least the world of Members) we noticed that we suddenly found ourselves in the midst of a Dee crunch. We’ve been having a lot of Dee, and we worried that we might be overdoing it somewhat. Then we sat down and rested for a bit. Too much Dee? And this time with Kristal Summers?! Riiiiiight …. We just kind of play them as they lie around here, as many of you know, and that keeps us … um … markedly above par. (Don’t you hate it when a metaphor goes astray?) Let’s consider a Dancing Endeavor with Dee as we consider our metaphorical faux pas … pas’s … pass’zzzz … Well, you know … [FEATURED TAGS: Dee, Kristal Summers, D.Minion] |
| 10/23/05 | You know what’s worse than your team losing in the last 10 seconds? Being in such a hurry to get the post up in order to watch the game that you forget the “New Stuff” link, and THEN having your team lose in the last 10 seconds … by one point … because of a missed field goal … by one of the most accurate field goal kickers in NFL history. OK, so put a technical date of 10/25/05 on this post, because after the proper amount of grieving time, we happened to notice this little clerical error. On the upside, you could have found the post if you happened to check the “Dee” Main Page, and (as you’ve hopefully surmised) you can now check out many, many words detailing Dee, Chloe and Jezabelle Bond on a “mainstream” shoot that makes the use of mirkins look sane. Straight shoots are weird. [FEATURED TAGS: Dee, Chloe, Jezebelle Bond, D.Minion] |
| 10/20/05 | Our conversations about the relative nature of “Innocence” have been going on at the office for about a week. We’ve also learned a few other things that you’ll discover if you decide to read D.Minion’s 2,000+ word essay on the latest Innocence title, this being of the catchy sub-phrase, Wet. Now you may not be overly interested in philosophy, mechanical inclination, or even backgammon, but fortunately we do have Roxy Jezel, Nautica Thorn, and Hillary Scott to distract you. Oh, and we have conjugating copulation and peacocks for dessert. Bon Appétit … [FEATURED TAGS: Roxy Jezel, Nautica Thorn, Hillary Scott, Michael Ninn, D.Minion] |
| 10/15/05 | So the hectic pace around here lately has led to way too many episodes of fast food and pizza delivery. We started realizing that we were probably lacking in some important vitamins, and unless somebody recently changed the four basic food groups to be Triscuits, Beef Jerky, Skittles, and Beer, we might be missing some other things on the nutritional scale too. Then we realized that we’d been lacking Dee stories as well. Obviously we decided that concepts of “Good Health” remain clearly relative, and then we sent D.Minion out for more beer. Dee, happily, happens to be present and accounted for today, as we continue to work on our “horrible warning” goal … =) [FEATURED TAGS: Dee Video, Monique Alexander, JJ Holly (Kirsten Price), Exclusive Video, Michael Ninn, D.Minion, Risque News Insight] |
| 10/12/05 | Don’t you love words to live by? “If you can’t be a good example, at least you can serve as a horrible warning.” That’s what I learned in a book I was reading recently. At then outside the Adult Video News offices I noticed a bumper sticker that highlighted a Voltaire quote, saying, “Those that can convince you of absurdities can get you to commit atrocities.” All in all it’s been a pretty deep week, it seems to me. OK. That’s pretty much it, although you can look at some pictures if you want. This would be another one of those entries where I’d skip the words if I were you. We only have so much time in the day: We should spend it carefully. Oooooh … we are deep today. [FEATURED TAGS: Juli Ashton, Ava Vincent, Shayla LaVeaux, Devinn Lane, Lauren Montgomery, Keri Windsor, Inari Vachs] |
| 10/9/05 | This is a picture of Sunny Lane in the foreground and Justine Joli being quirky in the background. Unfortunately, this is not a day for Justine Joli, other than in this particular photograph (which gets bigger inside, fortunately). On the upside, we do have a lot of Innocence under discussion today, and we use lots of visual aids to accomplish the goal. Basically, it makes for a “Sunny” outlook. [FEATURED TAGS: Sunny Lane, Audrey Hollander, Bobbie Blair, Jordan Fleiss, Avena Lee, Michael Ninn, D.Minion] |
| 10/8/05 | Here’s the story of some lovely ladies … but they about as far from “Brady” as one can get while still being Homo sapien, probably. You can, though, learn about some Ancient Egyptian “herstory” and some interesting local practices near Anais’ home town. It really might be best to just look at the 150 pictures, come to think of it. Who needs morals to a story these days anyway? [FEATURED TAGS: Anais, Michael Ninn] |
| 10/5/05 | Today might be a special day, or it might not be. Today might be a special day for someone whose name we can’t tell you, but it might rhyme with “truli” … er … “truly” …. And we might be in trouble for mentioning it, but we might not be too, and that’s always been worth the risk for us. Always remember that’s it’s easier to ask forgiveness than permission. (Damn, but she’s pretty, isn’t she? … Sucking up doesn’t hurt anything either.) [FEATURED TAGS: Juli Ashton, Exclusive Video] |
| 10/1/05 | Here’s something that seems like good advice: “Let us not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments.” Of course, it assumes you understand both the literal definition of impediments as well as the psychological concept of true minds. This could be a problem. Gosh. Instead of really icky educational stuff we’re thinking that Angel Cassidy Exposing herself might be a fine diversion. We’ve read some captivating things in our time, and we’re pretty sure that none of this even gets to be in the (admittedly subjective) category of beautiful women naked. You know, that just might be the trouble with too narrow a definition of educational, come to think of it. [FEATURED TAGS: Angel Cassidy, Anais, Michael Ninn] |

| 9/30/05 | We encourage reading the classics around here. And then we encourage reading almost anything else. Reading is good, and your head doesn’t hurt nearly as much the next morning if you spend the evening reading rather than developing a personal relationship with, say, Jack Daniels. OK. Maybe if you spend the evening reading the Republican National Platform it might, but nobody really reads that anyway, do they? In honor of this encouragement, today we’re taking a twist on the classics with “Of Vice, Not Men,” and while certainly not destined to be required fodder at some future university it has the distinct benefit of including Juli Ashton, Alexandra Silk, and Devinn Lane among its subject matter. After that, who really cares? [FEATURED TAGS: Juli Ashton Video, Devinn Lane Video, Alexandra Silk Video, Exclusive Video] |
| 9/26/05 | A funny thing happened on the way to the web post today. One of the site management tools that we use pointed out that this Night Calls, August, 2005 entry represents a total of 5,000 pages that we’ve laid out for the world to see. That seems significant … not like the stars in a mountain sky at night or anything, but still significant. But although we’ve been good at honesty over the years, we’ve probably never been good at understanding significance. It’s a shortcoming we’ve learned to live with, however. So we’re going to leave it up to someone else to add that particular aspect. For our part, we plan on watching the Broncos on Monday Night Football, all the while hoping that Kansas City sent all of their players to assist in the hurricane relief efforts instead of bringing them to Denver. We may not be good at significance, but we do just fine with perspective. [FEATURED TAGS: Night Calls, Juli Ashton, Tiffany Granath, Sunny Lane, D.Minion] |
| 9/24/05 | Now we can tell you about D.Minion’s visit to the set of Lost Angels – Wanda Curtis, and of course provide all of the usual fascinating insights delivered in laconic observation. OK. Maybe “laconic” might be more that we could hope for … so let’s go with “pithy” … and you guys can get on the Message Board and blame “bradcom” for the renewed fascination with words around here. One of the editors bought a bargain bin Word of the Day calendar and has felt it necessary to try to use the words for the 267 days that have already passed this year — in one week. (Bradcom owes the office a beer, by the way.) To D.Minion’s credit we should note, however, that she did provide 135 wonderful photograps of beautifully unclad women … oh, and some cows, an aging motorbike, and a couple of landscapes of a water truck. Isn’t it nice when things get back to normal? [FEATURED TAGS: Anais, Wanda Curtis, Venus, Michael Ninn, D.Minion] |
| 9/23/05 | It’s time once again for the Revelry of the Lab Rats. Oh. That would be us, by the way. However, this may not be as onerous as one might think, but we shouldn’t really explain it here because then everyone would hear about it. Let’s just say it involves some rather interesting activities for about 50 or so of the top stars in adult entertainment today. Sometimes it’s good to be a member, huh? [FEATURED TAGS: Anais, Michael Ninn] |
| 9/21/05 | Oops. We got called into the Principal’s office today, or at least its porn equivalent. It seems we haven’t been practicing the proper reverence for the vaunted Adult Video News Awards. You know, we’d be really sorry, but proper reverence has never been one of our better subjects, and we’ve pretty much come to grips with this failure over the years. While we’re contemplating our wrong-doing, and driving all the way to Los Angeles to hear about it, by the way, we thought we’d let you kill a little time with the Anais version of (the) Pool Party. We might be using that term fairly loosely here, come to think of it. … Drat. … There we go again being all impertinent and the like. We should be sent to our room immediately … and Anais should come with us to be sure we’re really sorry. [FEATURED TAGS: Anais, Michael Ninn] |
| 9/14/05 | Being rather the pragmatic type, we tend to pay attention when someone wants to teach us something. Hey, if someone wants to use us for our brains, we might as well get something out of the deal, right? Besides, you just never know when knowing a few tricks can turn into a fun afternoon with Juli Ashton, Inari Vachs, Keri Windsor … oh … and Shayla LaVeaux and Devinn Lane. Oh, my darling(s), you just never know about some things, although learning it seems to us will always be a good thing. [FEATURED TAGS: Juli Ashton Video, Shayla LaVeaux Video, Devinn Lane Video, Inari Vachs, Keri Windsor Video, Exclusive Video, D.Minion] |
| 9/13/05 | Now you’d think that being a “lab rat” wouldn’t be the most fun job in the world. However, provided no one really cuts open your head to stick pointy electrical things into your brain, there are some positive things to be said for the potential. If, for example, you have Anais and Jana Cova as your visual “aides” (as it were) for the day, well maybe it would be OK to just hang for the time being. We can always escape later. It may seem hard to believe, even after all these years since school, but “Homework can be Your Friend.” [FEATURED TAGS: Anais Video, Jana Cova Video, Exclusive Video, Michael Ninn] |
| 9/10/05 | It was 12:34 on May 6th, 1978 … Naturally, this made it 12345678 …. Well, at 11:12 today it will 9-10-11-12 (sort of) which isn’t as cool by any means, but it’s not bad. Also not bad would be the triumphant return of the Ninn Worx Weekend, at least since we get to talk even more about Justine Joli. We certainly seem to be living in a “phase” mode these days, don’t we? Ah, well, as long as the pretty girls keep on telling us secret stuff and letting us into their lives, this seems like a good place to hang around. You know, it occurs to us that a great many of the women currently making XXX movies were not even alive in 1978. Now is a good time to stop this kind of thinking is the next thing that occurs to us. [FEATURED TAGS: Justine Joli, Holly Morgan, Georgia Adair, Anais, Angel Cassidy, Isabella, Charlie Lane, Jana Cova, Michael Ninn] |
| 9/8/05 | If you have to hang around on a movie set, we suggest hanging around with Anais, Wanda Curtis, Angel Cassidy, Justine Joli, Jana Cova, and Charlie Laine. … You know, the trouble with simple advice is that it seems to be awfully hard to accomplish most of the time. … At the particular moment however, we asked not for whom the belles tolled … (We need a bumper sticker that says “Decry the Paucity of Good Literature” … and we need a bumper on which to put it.) [FEATURED TAGS: Anais, Wanda Curtis, Angel Cassidy, Jana Cova, Charlie Laine, Justine Joli Video, Exclusive Video, Michael Ninn, D.Minion] |
| 9/6/05 | You know what would be wonderful? It would be wonderful if people always did just what they said they were going to do. That would be great, wouldn’t it? In my decade (plus) of Porn Star Management I always said that if you just do what you say you’re going to do, that generally being showing up on time, looking good, with the wardrobe you need, and knowing your lines, you’d immediately be in the top 2% of the working talent. Sad, isn’t it? But it’s still true, although “lines” aren’t as commonly used as they once were, what with corporations buying up all of the companies and the time taken to do “dialogue” being hard to justify on a silly balance sheet that somebody who’s never even seen an adult movie has responsibility for. Video may have killed the radio star, but Business may beat us all to death sooner or later …. OK. We’ve stalled enough. If you don’t recall our promise, then you’re probably not a member anyway, and you haven’t even read this far before you clicked away to another page. We’re very philosophical today … [FEATURED TAGS: Audrey Hollander, Michael Ninn] |
| 9/4/05 | So say you’re going to have a Dinner Party. And say that Dee, Carmen Luvana, and Lauren Phoenix are desparate to attend. … Then say that champagne makes their clothes fall off. We’d say you’d have a dandy time, but we’re really trying to avoid the obvious (obviously). [FEATURED TAGS: Dee, Carmen Luvana, Lauren Phoenix, D.Minion] |
| 9/1/05 | Rumor has it that one of our own has a birthday today, and like responsible adults we know exactly how to treat mere rumors. … We consider them Gospel, and then endeavor to tell as many people as we can remember about the scandalous circumstances that we can recall, or at least make up. Think about it. When else would the entire address book of your email, or the entire listings in your cell phone directory, become valuable? So Kristal Summers has a birthday, and apparently that’s a unique enough of an occurrence to spur us into action. … OK. It’s at least enough of an occurrence to entice us into wishing Kristal a Happy Day … and to show off one of Kristal’s “Flirty Dozen” … She’s really a great person; it’s the least we can do. At “least” we should do that, it seems. We plan on more serious spurring just as soon as we take a nap. [FEATURED TAGS: Kristal Summers, Inari Vachs] |
